From start to finish, an amazing stay with my mother and 6 month old daughter, it was our 10th year here. The staff are all so friendly and remember us from previous years. The hotel is warm, cosy, bright and modern. Food is delicious, hotel room was clean & modern. We will be back again next year.

The smallest of faults but we booked the bistro but were told we could only sit in the bar as they did not have enough residents to fill the bistro, but the bistro was open and there was a family sitting in there eating food for the duration of our meal in the bar. We did not care too much but it would have been nice to sit in the bistro for our 4 course dinner. We are looking forward to returning next year again

I really liked the room size and the bed it was like a king size bed,the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Good shower BUT just slight slippery so need to be carefull as with the dip in the shower for the drain. Also the staff were very helpful and really welcoming, the food/breakfast was lovely and good selection. Also loved the 80s music they had playing as big 80s music fan

The alarm went off twice during the night,was awake for the 1st one but then the 2nd one went off a good while later and woke us up which was a bit annoying. The rooms were very warm so couldn't sleep with the full blankets over us which is no biggie really,as the bed/pillows were cosy so was fine

We were staying to celebrate our daughter's wedding. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful - John Kelly and Laura looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble. The wedding itself ran very smoothly and efficiently and the outside drinks reception was perfect in the lovely garden. The meal was exceptional for a wedding - far beyond the usual offering. Breakfast the following day was also excellent and staff facilitated us when extra members of the family joined us at the table. Highly recommended!

Difficult to get to via public transport - otherwise nothing :-)

staff we so welcoming and accommodating. one waitress in particular was just a gorgeous girl - Amy. beds were super comfy with good pillows and there were even extra pillows in the wardrobe if needed

rooms were dated but not a big deal really. food was very average in the restaurant and expensive for what it was.

Wow wow wow. We were there for my daughter's wedding and we have never ever experienced such a service. The staff were beyond accommodating, and so so positive and polite even when we were under pressure. The food was excellent and the venue was just fantastic. We cannot express how fantastic this venue was and every single member of the wedding were so vocal in their praise for the staff and venue. Even the contract staff went above and beyond for us. I cannot thank you enough. A very special shout-out to John and Emma who accommodated us with a constant smile and yes. Thank you all so so much

One of the older bar staff was a little bit smart .didnt Like that .aked for a pint of Guinness and he never came back with it for over 15 mins so I went up ordered and paid for s pint and then he came back down with the pint I said I ordered another one as you never came back he said we had to pay for it as I ordered it .taught this was very unprofessional he said I had to pay for it as it was put through system??? This I didn’t believe so He should have said it was no problem and not to worry but no he insisted I pay for it.i didn’t like dat .taught this was bad manners and very bad way to treat paying guests

When I got to reception, I was warmly welcomed by a beautiful smile from the receptionist( on duty Sunday evening- 7th May). The young waitress in the bar was equally pleasant and very helpful. The ambience in the foyer was just what I needed after a long journey. There was a beautiful fire, comfortable sofas and very friendly locals.

Drinking water in the bedroom! Individual shower gels in bathroom.

Receptionist on arrival was lovely she couldnt do enough to help us and give us information on the town and what to do and where to do. Unfortunately didn't catch her name but she made the stay enjoyable. Stayed in the garden suite was beautiful room and a bathtub near the bed. It was peefect. Very spacious room.

Wifi all over the hotel was shocking. Had netflix on the tv in the room but it would never connect over poor connection. Could of done with a bath matt there was none in room and kept slipping. Nosiy neighbours partying till all hours of the morning. On our first night in the bar and restaurant we had a reservation and once we were seated we were forgotton about. Had to order own drinks at the bar but waited and asked three times for somone to come over to take our order. It was a total of 45 minute wait before anyone had come over and not one of them apologised.

Hotel was very nice--good location to stop before returning to Dublin. Room and staff were lovely. Access to gym and pool a nice bonus although we did not have time to take advantage.

A little challenging to find. Grounds were very nice but we were surprised that there was nowhere for us to sit outside on a nice day. Expected the restaurant to be a bit more upscale considering hotel is a wedding venue, although restaurant staff were great.

Beautiful surroundings, fantastic location, extremely friendly and highly professional check in staff. High standard of hygiene and housekeeping.

Very disappointed with customer service by bar staff. No interaction unless spoken to by Cormac and there were 2 female staff on who ignored us. When Cormac was asked for our order he just said ok and continued to deal with chits on bar which was fine but an apology stating he would be with us in a minute would have been appropriate. Again when we wanted second round no offer of service till we asked and then no interest or interaction so we have up and left. Sorry but it was bitterly disappointing to be treated this way. We felt our custom was not wanted.
