Kathleen was so welcoming -;always ready with a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit. PK Lodge is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and breakfast options range from the light to the extremely filling. The locally made yoghurt is worth a trip in itself. Kathleen's very flexible shuttle service to and from Skibbereen is super for those without a car. Location is very quiet and conducive to a good night's sleep.

That I had to leave so soon.

Our host was lovely and very welcoming. Our accommodation was a large room with en-suite. It was on the edge of Skibbereen. We had a lovely dinner at the Church in town. Location was perfect for the night kayaking we did in Lough Hyne - first time seeing phosphorescence. We returned after midnight which wasn't a problem for our host. Great breakfast in the morning just what we needed.

The place was a short drive from the town of Skibbereen; nice and quiet out of town. Breakfast was good and the hosts were friendly and courteous.

It was a little pricey but I think that's because the area is now popular. The double bed felt a bit small as these days you get used to a king or queen sized. But these are small things.

Well furnished with good facilities. Very clean. Plenty of parking outside. The property is just off the main road to Skibbereen but far away to be really quiet. The host was so helpful and accommodating. Their dog was so friendly and gentle which added to our stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.

It is a very beautiful remote house, just outside of Skibbereen. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s generally a good place to stay. Pat and Kaithleen were very accommodating and helpful, quite pleasant people. Pat is very positive and talkative and want to learn a lot of stuff about his visitors and their country.

Everything was great

Staying at the PKlodge was something right out of an Irish fairy tale. Exterior and interior were warm and inviting. Pat and Kate consistently went above and beyond. My room was so comfortable and overlooked the Irish hills.

Super nice, friendly and welcoming hostess. Clean and comfy room, calm area. For us it was perfect for the one night stay during our road trip.

Shower was not working properly, water came either cold or very hot, no matter how much we tried to regulate it.

B&B was clean, bright and comfortable and located within a 5 minute drive of Skibereen town centre. Kathleen and Pat were lovely welcoming hosts and happy to suggest trips and attractions in the area. Room was comfortable. Plenty of parking.

A small thing - breakfast menu was adequate but could have been more varied. No cheese/meats or soft fruits offered.

Pat and Kathleen were the perfect hosts, thank you so much! we were impressed by their kindness, the breakfast was great and left no wish open, they gave us great advice on the area and made us feel at home, we are so grateful. Would recommend without any hesitation and stay again any time. Thank you!
