Loved everything about our stay in radisson,. The hotel accommodated our request for a lower floor, and answered my email almost immediately! We were upgraded to a business class room as we were celebrating my mother's up and coming birthday. The staff were exceptional, the hotel was so handy to everything, just outside the town, the scenery is just beautiful around the rosses. From the moment we booked until we checked out the staff couldn't do enough for us. We were made very welcome. The hotel itself is gorgeous, top marks and more for the cleanliness. The food is amazing, an amazing breakfast selection, in beautiful surroundings. I just loved the radisson, from the cleaners doing an amazing job, to the reception staff, always present with a friendly smile, and anything they can do to make your stay even better! Everything was amazing!!

We loved everything, would have liked a wee bit of even pipeline music in bar., but we were there during the week, I know they have music at weekend. Loved our stay.

Warm welcome on arrival from Caroline on reception who was very helpful with info on local attractions etc Loved the activity pack for little ones! Very family friendly. Excellent facilities - we used the pool daily. Small details like the clothes line over bath were very handy for drying swimwear! The hotel very comfortable and a great base for exploring the North West. Only a few minutes drive from Sligo Town and we had day trips to Bundoran & Enniscrone. Beautiful part of the country.

Pity kids have to be out of the pool by 7pm. I totally understand policy on children's hours but feel that's a little early especially in the middle of summer. Even 8pm cut off would make a big difference. It meant we didn't have time to use the pool in the evenings which we would have loved to.

Loved the Rooms, especially the beds! Super Comfy! The staff were exceptional...no request was too much!

Overall the Food: Breakfast: A very large queue. When we did get a table, most of the cereals/fruit/juices were empty and not renewed. The hot breakfast had a good assortment. Dinner: Left hungry, my carbonara was completely tasteless, my father's fish & chips very oily & ultimately inedible, and my kids' chicken pieces really dry. We got pizza delivered the following night. If I were to change anything, it would be dinner menu selection. A lot of the meals/types of food are not catered towards family type meals, especially the older generation who are not "foodies" & enjoy simpler/traditional meat & vegetable options

Excellent breakfast The staff were very friendly, ethusiatic, self motivated, hard working and professional. Excellent management selection of local staff. Irish hospitality staff are the best in the world in a class of their own. An example: our bath plug didn’t seal the water in the bath and my request for assistance was immediate and followed up with excellent service - very impressive

In Carrick on Shannon on the way to Sligo I rang the hotel to book a dinner table and ended up talking to what appeared to be an Asian robot who did not understand my irish accent so I could book until I got to the hotel. Stick with irish trained staff

The check-in experience was fantastic. Agata was just brilliant!! Her introduction to the hotel and dealing with a special request we had made was just top class. She also took the time to make our almost 2yr old boy feel so special. Agata made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. I'd also like to mention Ann. I only learned her name the morning we were checking out as she also helped with our special request. Ann had checked with us on quite a few occasions as she was passing by on her errands. I feel that we could have asked for anything and the staff would have went so out of their way for us. Everything else in between was better than expected, great food, swimming facilities, bar staff, cleanliness, location etc. Without doubt my stand out best experience of a hotel.

We couldn't fault our stay... We have both sat trying to think of a negative... We couldn't!

What wasn't to like. Efficient, pleasant staff, location, service, the food, and the spectacular views. We arrived in the midst of a large wedding party in the lobby, but when I approached the desk, it was like I was the only one there. The check in person was warm and friendly, and gave me valuable information I didn't think to ask for. All the staff were pleasant and were happy. The breakfast, although busy, was so efficient, and the variety of foods-great. Excellent chef-dinner quality was great. Such a lovely experience. Thank you Radisson staff. This is how a hotel should be run.

Not one thing.

The Raddison BLU hotel and Spa, Sligo, was the oasis we needed after motorcycling around Ireland for over a week, following the 'Wild Atlantic Way'. The facilities and the food encouraged us to relax, wind down and enjoy a very pleasant evening before continuing our epic journey. On arrival the lady on reception was most helpful by providing us somewhere to change out of our biker gear (we had arrived before check-in time) and booking us into the restaurant for a much 'looked forward too' and most enjoyable Sunday Roast Lunch. Our evening was spent using the facilities of Bar, Pool and Sauna, followed by a much needed comfortable sleep in a luxurious room with huge TV, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee and bathroom with a bath and shower. Breakfast was buffet and all you can eat, a great start to another day in the saddle.

It WasPerfect, Thank You.

We found everywhere clean and tidy with pleasant and helpful staff. We requested and were given an accessible room which was very well designed to look not like an accessible room just like a good quality room with a good quality wet room yet meeting all needs. Bed 10/10 Towels especially 10/10 Room as a whole 10/10 Another plus was, unlike many other hotels with accessible rooms these were on ground floor and not on upper floors. We have been caught out twice now at hotels with lifts breaking and the problems that causes us. So good planning Radisson. Bar food, good selection and nicely cooked/served, prices fair in current climate. Outside we noticed acres of parking though noticed some blue badge holders unable to get a suitable space. Perhaps a couple more ♿ spaces needed? We were able to charge EV also with two standard speed EasyGo.ie units available, these will charge 99% of EVs unlike other hotels that have Tesla chargers which only charge Tesla vehicles. Only two problems with stay were: The EV spaces were not marked out and I later noticed internal combustion vehicles blocking them, probably unintentionally as chargers don't stand out. Needs a bay at each charger marking to remain available and those bays widened to allow ♿ access. I was lucky I didn't get blocked out of car by neighbouring vehicles as I have previously in similar bays Second thing was not hotel fault at all but next room erupted in noise, music, loud voices, wakening us at 5am with, I presume, early arrival. In fairness they stopped when I knocked wall after 15 mins but that was us awake having hoped to be rested for long drive in morning. If I'm booking into room at 5am I would be, like most people, thinking of other guests sleeping and be quiet as possible, clearly not everyone thinks this way.

We had booked dinner for 6.30 for the 9 of us and it was a great selection and we were all delighted with the meal and service. The choices for breakfast were also very good but see below.

I booked three rooms for our family, a family room for my son, daughter in law and two children. Our daughter and son in law came home from Canada to be with us for my husbands 70th birthday. They had a beautiful room with a lovely view. We had one grand daughter with us in room 135. It was adequate but I had hoped to be given an upgrade. This was not available. At breakfast we were not told of the option of having pancakes or that an omelet could be prepared for us. My son asked on the Sunday morning if it was possible for his daughter and they were given. I asked a server on Sunday morning after breakfast if it would be possible to have an omelet the second morning and she said it was. On Monday morning I, and some of the others in our family had the omelet and it was delicious.

I booked the premium room for my boyfriends birthday and it was so so nice. Really big, basically two rooms in one. All the staff were really friendly and helped us get a taxi when our app wouldn’t work and let us have a late check out when we missed our train due to the taxis. Would definitely go back

We went to get dinner at 8:52 and when we got there they said we missed the last orders by 2 minutes. We knew what we were ordering before we came and just felt like as much as they have rules, we wish they let the 2 minutes slide
