Really great hotel stay! Perfectly located outside the bustle of Sligo, easy to get to. Parking was easy. Staff were exceptional - every one of them were very pleasant and helpful. Loved that the restaurant and bar were part of the hotel. Really good food and wine selections. The king bed was good, the room had a tub that we didn't use. Nespresso coffee pods were fabulous. Loved being able to amble after dinner in a quiet setting. Perfect launching point to explore County Sligo and southern Donegal.
No elevator/lift for luggage - all rooms upstairs. The room was a bit narrow and tight - I was worried about knocking the TV off the wall during the night going around the bed to the bathroom. No drawers. There was mold on the shower ceiling, but the floor and wall tiles were good. The toilet is too close to the toilet paper dispenser, and it's a tight space to sit down. The bathroom door has an automatic closer which is annoying - we had to prop it open with beer coasters. There is a functioning bathroom fan which helps with the post-shower fogging - but it's always moist in there. Despite this, we would definitely stay there again.

Our room 8 was just lovely, nice touches like the Voya toiletries home made cookies and chocolates delish !!Room was bright and spotlessly clean and well appointed Loved all the art work around the hotel great fun vibe Food in restaurant was excellent and nicely presented and prepared we had breakfast lunch and dinner, over our 2 day stay and all plates were really good and tasty.Staff were all lovely and helpful.
Didn't like the voya containers very awkward to use and too far from sink to use without dripping everywhere. Very little space to put your own toiletries in the bathroom a small shelf or table would have been great. Coffee machine was not working and tea coffee supplies not replaced on our 2nd night there.Small matter and didn't take from our stay

Beautiful boutique hotel located in Rosses point with gorgeous rooms to suit all budgets .I stayed in the seaside superior room and enjoyed a beautiful bath whilst enjoying the views of the sea and mountains . There was a beautiful designed restaurant downstairs that was busy during my stay however I didn’t get to taste the food on this occasion.
Parking facilities and access to the building is limited I also felt that the cost for room only with no breakfast was over priced for the location especially during the autumn months .

The Driftwood holds a very special place in my heart and my partner and I have shared a lot of beautiful memories here. The staff are always accommodating, The location is ideal for anyone who loves a seaside view on your doorstep. The room is just incredible. It's spacious with a very comfortable bed and we always opt for a room with a bathtub. This is always going to be our go-to when in the area and in need of relaxation. A true hidden gem.
There is limited availability because of the popularity and we can't always get a room here but that in itself tells that it's a crowd favourite ☺️

This place was exceptional. Our room was absolutely beautiful and ambient with great decor. Loved it so much i want the designer to decorate my house. Bed was comfortable, shower had great pressure, 2 televisions. Then we ate at the restaurante for dinner and breakfast and it was delicious both times!. Staff were lovely and there was a stunning view of harbour right out front. Stay here!

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the view from the window was beautiful. The food was delicious. It was hard to find any faults. We would recommend and will be back to visit.
The mattress is our room number 3 was very uncomfortable and we could feel springs. This had an imapct on our sleep on both nights. The coffee machine didn't work, and the shower was leaking.

Layout and decor of room. Location by sea. We had a sea view. Good quality products in shower and bathroom
Breakfast was disappointing. Staff were slow to take order and bring food and drink to table. We had to ask twice for water. When we eventually got our eggs and avocado on toast it was cold. Tea was served in small pots and we had to repeatedly ask for more. Only milk available for porridge, tea etc was low fat. Others seemed to be served more promptly.

We liked the decor a lot and the bathroom was nice, it was very clean. The radio was a lovely addition.
The curtains were a little mouldy at the bottom and the room smelled slightly mouldy but they did a good job covering that smell. The only drawback was there isn’t an indoor lounge area to hang out and have a drink if the weather isn’t great and as we unfortunately didn’t get a sea view we didn’t really want to sit in the room. We were able to walk to Harry’s pub though which was great.

The room was great. Very clean. Bed comfortable. Tea coffee and water supplied. Plenty of towels and all voya products in the bathroom. Would highly recommend 👌
This is my third stay in the Driftwood, and I was never able to get coffee machine to work. The bathroom door was a slight problem as there was little room between the door and toilet to get into bathroom. Not a big issue would still return

The hotel was very well located 15 min drive outside Sligo in a beautiful and quiet area. You are welcome by lovely staff and some relaxing music playing in the room on the vintage radio. The decoration is exquisite, and the cleanliness was on top. The room was spacious with a small sofa. Very agréable and relaxing stay would recommend it and definitely will come back.
Small details, but there was no bin in the bathroom, which could be quite an inconvenience. I believe the bathroom ventilation fan might need to be checked as it doesn't seem to work enough. But overall, there is nothing to complain about. Would still recommend that lovely place.
