I have always stayed at the City Center Hotel in all my visit to Jerusalem. I have noticed a vast improvement in the facilities in the room and I can only give praise to all the staff for their readiness to help out if needed. I have to give a special mention to Dawoud the receptionist, a very active and helpful young man.

I cannot say anything bad about City Center. Perhaps I can mention only the fact that my private taxi was not able to park outside the main gate of the hotel so I had to walk with my suitcases some distance to get it.

So, the people who work there are really lovely: they are super kind and friendly and very much skilled. I texted that I have a huge delay and will arrive in the middle of the night: they had a very practical solution. They know the city very well and speak in English, Hebrew and Arabic. The location is great: 3 minutes walk from the light rails and 10 minutes to the old city (Damascus Gate). It is in fact near the most famous street in Jerusalem: Derech Jaffa. The rooms are big, clean, smell good and the view is lovely. The buses stop in front of the building. The facilities in the room are really good: big room, nice kitchen, tea, plates, spoon and so on and you also have a big closet and a locker and even a balcony, how wonderful is that. I most strongly recommend this hotel for everyone who is looking for a nice hotel close to the city center of Jerusalem.

The property is in central Jerusalem close to everything you could possibly need The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help with everything

The rooms are a little tired the soft furnishings do need an urgent upgrade. When we arrived our bed sheets were not clean this was quickly resolved by the very apologetic night staff who did everything they could do resolve the issue .

The location of the hotel is excellent. Right in the center of town, near transportation, restaurants, and sight-seeing. The hotel is small but comfortable. The studio-room and the bathroom were very clean. The reception manager, Oren, was wonderful. Very kind and helpful. Although the hotel has been renovated, and the rooms look nice, there were a couple of plumbing problems and the room needed a new microwave. But in general the place was nice and I would stay there again.

My room did not have any kind of wardrobe/ closet to hang clothes. There were some drawers but no way to hang clothes. The little microwave oven in my studio was extremely old and did not work properly -- it needs to be changed. The drain in the bathroom sink did not drain properly, so the sink filled up with water. Also, water from the shower came out under the shower door and made the floor soaking wet. Maybe take a look at these plumbing issues and change the microwave.

There was no breakfast. The location was good

When I came in there was no one at Reception since it was early in the morning. Even without the 24 hour reception there should be an ability to speak to someone at the front desk via telephone.

Although our overall stay in Jerusalem was spoiled by my partner getting sick with high fever, we loved our stay in City Center because the staff was so accommodative and so understanding and willing to help in my care for my sick partner. Upon inquiry they right away provided an extra blanket and bed sheets. Let us stay an extra (not booked) night in the same room and constantly asked if they can help with anything! This was so heart-melting to see that people care and are ready to help. Room itself was great, had everything one may need for a short stay, small kitchenette and great bathroom. Beds were comfortable enough and the balcony was a great bonus.

Everything was great, we loved our stay in the hotel. We are very grateful to the staff for helping us in a hard situation and we for sure will be coming back and staying at this great place. Hotel is centrally located, has many shops and places to eat nearby, tram is only few minutes away, old city is around 15-20 minutes walking distance.

Position of the hotel

We arrived at 14.00 and the room was not ready. They asked us to come back at 15.00 which we did. The hallway was full of linen and the women who were suppose to be making up the room were sitting on the bed. We were asked to come back at 15.30 which we did. The room was made up but there was food left in the refrigerator from previous occupants. On the second day the beds were not made up not the bins cleared out. This was the only thing that spoilt it. Overall not bad.

The cleaning staff was really nice and polite, they changed the towels every day, even if we didn't ask for it. The middleage man at the reception was also great! It's a pity that we just was him once.

One young guy at the reception was terrible, i just asked for help and print something and he couldn't help me... Nothing to say but when i asked if he would know a place where to use a computer or a printer, he answered me in awful tone "Sorry, i'm not the smartest person!"
