The Holston House is gorgeous, lovely lobby and bar area and the rooms are modern with a charm to them. The valet staff are super on it helping with bags, transport etc. The check-in area has a good range of essentials - waters, drinks, snack and cute Nashville themed gifts. The room had lovely furnishings, with a comfy bed and seating area to chill or have room service. Gorgeous spacious bathroom. The king room was a good size for a solo traveller. The hotel location is a block from Bridgestone Arena and two blocks from Fifth and Downtown, very close to all that downtown has to offer but not close enough that noise is an issue.

Wifi and mobile / cell service isn't great. It's an uphill walk from downtown for two blocks to the hotel.

Location was great, and the hotel beautiful. The onsite restaurant had delicious breakfast and the valet services were efficient and professional.

One of our beds did not have a blanket on it and after a cold night, we asked for a blanket to be added to the bed during housekeeping that they told us would occur in the am. When we returned to our room in the late afternoon, we found that it was never made up. When we let the front desk staff know and went out for dinner, they assured us it would be taken care of. When we returned at 10pm, the room still had not been tended to, and a folded blanket had been placed on top of the unmade bed.

The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. It's located a block off of Broadway and a short walk to bars, pubs, music and restaurants along the strip. Breakfast at the Tenn (inhouse restaurant) was very good.

The room was a little small (no room for a comfortable chair to relax in). It was located on the 7th street side of the building so there was a bit of street noise at night. Caution, valet parking or the parking lot across the street are $50+ per day, however, the "Library" public parking lot a short block to the north on 7th is $20 per day.

Cool lobby decor. I enjoyed a complimentary martini served on Friday afternoon right next to the record player. There was also the cutest hot chocolate bar set up nearby. The room was so comfortable and quiet. We were able to sleep in every day and had the room tended after we left the hotel at 11:00 am. The location was perfect!! So close to Broadway where it was walkable but far enough to be quiet at night. Lots of great food around the corner at Assembly Food Hall.

The parking was a little pricey $200 for three nights

When you walk up to the hotel there was always someone that greeted you, opened the door for you and walked our luggage up/down the stairs. The receptionists were also friendly. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfy. The hotel was in a great location- you turned the corner and walked a minute or two and you were right on Broadway, but also it was quiet when you went back at night.

The room was a little on small. It would have been nice to have a love seat and coffee table so you had somewhere to sit and eat or drink without it being on the bed.

As always, whether property is new construction or retrofit/old build, guest room needed more outlets for charging electronics. In a queen room, assuming at least two occupants, with need for outlets to charge phone/tablet/watch/other devices. Also, and this is a personal pet peeve. If there’s a queen bed, chances are there may be two persons in that bed. In Holston House queen room, only one of those queen bed occupants gets the luxury of a nightstand/lighting control. Assume it is different for a King room? That’s what we’ll request for next time.

Excellent location just off Broadway in the downtown area, close enough that everything was on your doorstep/ far enough removed that in wasn’t noisy/rowdy at night. Well appointed room with tea/coffee/water, plenty of clothes storage, large shower/bathroom and separate toilet. Comfy bed and a sofa too. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, housekeeping provided each day. Pool area was open late and provided great views across the city.

Lifts were a little temperamental but that’s lifts for you!!

Great location two blocks away from Assembly Food Hall and Honky Tonks on Broadway and a walkable distance from the Gulch. Everyone who works at this hotel was friendly and knowledgeable about Nashville, and not just South Broadway The lobby is impressive with very high ceilings, art deco design and lots of comfy seating - some in little tucked away corners. Our room was small, clean and very well appointed. The rooftop bar is very nice, with a good size pool - a nice place to relax. The hotel bar has a chill vibe. Both bars had great bartenders who genuinely seemed happy to be there. Delicious, creative drink menu with a good selection of the classics and local beers on tap. The hotel’s restaurant, Tenn - we only had breakfast there and it is not to be missed. Great brunch menu, generous portions, delicious coffee, great service. Our only regret is we did not have dinner there. We will be staying here on our next trip to Nashville!

No exhaust fan in bathroom.

It's located in the Heart of Nashville, just by the Broadway Street. Room is cozy, clean, toiletries, there's everything you need and/or may look like. Breakfast was not incuded in the rate I've chosen, but for a small charge I enjoyed it. The Hotel has this "special atmosphere" that I always look for when visiting Nashville, my second home ;) The price-quality ratio was 10/10 + they gave little Vinyl's as a key! - priceless :)

everything was perfect!

Convenient for a great breakfast. Room location was great & quiet.

Our room was not made up the first day. And the second day they cleaned, took all the dirty towels and did not replace any! Called down for towels and waited 2 hrs .. no towels arrived. Went down to lobby to request a full set again ... came up about 40 minutes later with only a partial set. Also, no ramp to get luggage up step area was rough. NO one there to help either.
