We had an amazing trip to Cortina and undoubtedly the friendliest and helpfulness of the hotel staff, especially Marcel & Alessandro, made our trip exceptional! Our room was spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable. The Aufguss ritual days at the sauna were wonderful and we had fantastic massages with Diego. There was plenty of parking for our large truck. Our ski boots were always toasty warm from the ski room. We enjoyed being able to walk to the ski bus stop within 3 minutes or walk further up the road (no more than 10 minutes) to hop on run #44 to ski down to the gondola. Every day there were was a new baked goods/bread selection at breakfast and all the stations were refilled quickly if something ran out. We enjoyed the proximity to town and didn’t find the walk along the road bothersome. The hotel made it very clear which charges, like the sauna, were additional so we had no surprises.

We honestly have no complaints. Sure, if breakfast started at 7:30 instead of 8:00 we would have gotten on the ski slopes a little earlier but it didn’t make or break our trip.

We had two rooms in Hotel Columbia. They were able to accommodate parking our large van. Our sons' room was much quieter than ours which faced the street. Both rooms were clean and had nice bathrooms. Breakfast was fine if a little busy, chaotic. Hotel staff was kind and informative.

We had a shared balcony that overlooked the street. With open windows not much privacy for us or our neighbors. Traffic was busy so room was not quiet, although it was very nice. It was hot so we needed to keep windows open, electric (AC, refrigerator) would not run if you were not in the room. Overall this was a good place to stay but it has pros and cons.

The property was amazing. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the centre and a 5 minute drive to the ski lift at Socrepes. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options, but they have the same thing every single day. The reception staff and breakfast staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room looks exactly like in the picture and it’s clean.

The spa area is nice but staff was very rude. As soon as we came in they had an issue giving us towels saying they’re extra charge when they’re not. The spa lady came to us and told us to be quiet and whisper in the jacuzzi because we were being loud. To be clear, the jacuzzi is located in a different room from the massage rooms. The next day when we tried to come to spa, she told us there are no more spaces available, even though we were hotel guests. She said the spa is at maximum capacity. It was 5:30 when we came and she told us we can wait for an hour or hour and a half (the spa closes at 7:30). If you book this place for the spa, keep in mind the spa lady will make sure you’ll have a horrible time.

The room was wonderful and very clean with lots of room. The place has a lot of charm to it and everything is up to day with tech, furniture and ease of access. I would be happy to stay here again for the room was very comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly. Never had trouble finding a parking spot, easy access to room.

Everything was great, the only part that was a little frustrating was taking a shower. The shower head is connected with the bath tub. To use the shower you'll need to pull over a sliding window to block off the water spraying onto the floor. The sliding window was very awkward and water still somehow spilled onto the tire floor, even after several attempts of preventing it. The Spa is very nice and organized, but extremely busy with lots of people. It's also a co-ed spa, meaning both male/females share the entire space together, and full nudity isn't restricted. This is very minor, the stay here was still worth it.

It was a comfortable and cozy hotel; we had a lovely little room and balcony, too! The temperature was around 0, but if it was sunny, we enjoyed the sun on the balcony. The sun is intense in Italy, so it was so hot we just sat there in bikinis :) Most importantly, of course, the entire staff was outstanding! Excellent hospitality and many good recommendations for the whole area. Thank you!! The city center is within walking distance!

The hotel was extremely charming, cozy, and clean! The view from our room was outstanding, and the beds were very comfortable. When you walk in, you instantly notice the beautiful wood-working and attention-to-detail all throughout the building. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the breakfast each day! We also had lovely massages at the spa.

We liked the fact that the hotel wasn't right in the city centre of Cortina, but it's about a 10 minute walk in case people are curious! We went in the summer, and parking downtown was extremely easy when we were feeling too lazy to walk.

The room was quiet (we were on the back side of the hotel), plenty large enough, had plenty of closet space, and it was cozy with the wood paneling. The jacuzzi bathtub was nice after a long hike. The balcony was lovely and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. The staff were super nice.

The only thing missing for us was that a tea kettle or coffee maker would have been nice to have in the room. Nothing else was lacking.

15 min walk to the centre of town. Plenty of parking space if you have a car. Kind people on reception. Good variety and tasty options for breakfast.

Spa not available during our stay, but it was early season, no reason given. Reception staff had no knowledge regarding the Dolomiti buses but tried their best to advise. Room was not as the pictures show it, the bath/shower needed a bit of love to bring them up to the high standard of the main room deco.

Comfortable lobby with space to hang out, walking distance to town restaurants, free parking onsite was great, breakfast buffet was fabulous, rooms and beds were comfortable - fantastic showers. Staff was very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and walking routes. Liked that Spa was available (didn’t have time to try though). Great Wifi.

It was adjacent to a main busy road, so some balconies had street noise during the day, but quieted at night. (since no air conditioning, have to keep balcony door open for cooling). I felt the price was a bit high given the accommodations, but that is normal for this area during busy summer months.

Charming, clean, beautifully appointed Hotel. Located within 15 - 60 minutes of the best hiking trails in the Dolomites - there was a tram to take you up one of the peaks right across the street, delicious, fresh and generous included breakfast, ample free parking and stunning views of the mountains all around the property. Or room and beds were spotless with all we needed - space to sit/eat, comfortable beds and terrific bath including a rain shower head. The staff is professional, never making us feel rushed, accommodating and responsive. It is a family run business - chat with the staff to get some local insights about this part of the world! Special thanks to Alessandro who welcomed us and efficiently checked us in, gave us tips on where to eat, answered all of our questions and his thoughts about Cortina and the weather (we had unseasonable rains!). We Highly recommend Hotel Columbia!
