Where to begin, maybe the best view in the Dolomites from your balcony (I almost want to keep this a secret)! The stay was perfect. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, seems family run. The breakfast is one of the best I've had at a hotel stay, not your traditional breakfast. The hosts will make eggs for you upon request (cooked to perfection). Great cold cuts (prosciutto, salami, ham, speck, cheese), lots of breads and pastry's to choose from. Fresh yogurt or packaged if you wanted to take with you. Cereal, many options. Fruit. Nuts (walnuts, almonds, etc.) Any type of coffee or tea available. Juices. I promise you won't walk away hungry. The rooms are extremely clean - well taken care of. Originally when we booked, (my mother in law and spouse) we booked an adjoining room with a shared bathroom - upon arrival the hosts graciously switched us so we could have two bathrooms at no extra cost. They go above and beyond and your room is cleaned daily with towels replaced.
Nothing at all. We loved our stay and will be back. I would have loved a small fridge for drinks at night but that wouldn't prevent me staying or telling all of my friends and family to stay there when they visit.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Corona for four nights in September. It was a great stay. This is a family owned and operated hotel, which gives it a personal feel. Steve, Mary and Ferdi were fantastic hosts, always willing to help and be helpful. Steve’s recommendations for local activities were great. Pros: Beautiful hotel, beautiful views from the spacious room, good breakfast, great hospitality
Cons: Short walk to downtown (around 10 minutes, not a serious issue), loud traffic during daytime but peaceful and quiet at night.

The mountain view from the balcony was amazing (we got a good side of the hotel, the single room didn't have such a good view of the mountains). The staff were also really accommodating when we were late for breakfast on one day. The beds were comfortable.
There weren't a lot of plug sockets in the rooms - especially the single room. So you had to choose between the fridge, TV, kettle, etc. The WiFi also wasn't very reliable.

Amazing views from the balcony, easy and convenient parking, walking distance to the city center, great breakfast
The hotel is closed between 5-7am, and we tried leaving for a sunrise hike but the door to get outside was locked. Luckily a staff member heard us and let us out, but said we had to tell them in advance if we wanted to leave the hotel between those hours. Turned out ok for us, but maybe let guests know this policy at check in.

Loved our quaint rooms. Staff was wonderful and informative... helped us with our hikes. Breakfast was great... view was even better! Easy parking. Loved our balcony. Nice to have a coffee maker in the room! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Easy walk to the town. Quiet and lovely!
I always appreciate a refrig in the room.

comfortable room and brilliant bathroom with rainfall shower. Lots of storage. Great breakfast. Short walk into centre of Cortina. View of river and mountains.
Bit of road noise (to be expected in a busy town!) but shutters made it possible to keep this down when closed and make room darker for sleeping. Wasn't so easy to keep room ventilated with shutters closed but we did sleep well after long days walking in mountains.

Hotel has history and is well maintained. Sufficient parking spaces free of charge. Very close and convenient to walk to Cortina center. Breakfast is of good quality.
We stayed in the family room which is okay for a family of four. Although I would recommend only with young children as the room with bunk bed is small.

This was my second stay here. Stefano is a gracious host. It was quiet and comfortable and clean with great views of the mountains. The breakfast is better than that of hotel chains many times its size; e.g., eggs are made to order. They did my laundry for €10. And Stefano always has good suggestions about where to go, what to do.
Everything was fine.

Lovely old building with a lot of artistic decor. Beautiful deck for 2nd floor rooms. Large bathroom. Friendly staff. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Mostly cold cuts, cheese, toast etc but a lovely spread.
Shower was good but getting old and a fridge in the room would have been a nice addition. Price was good but maybe a bit high for comparable places

I stayed at this hotel for a week in February 2022 with 6 of my friends for a Skiing holiday. Before arriving at the hotel we were in regular contact with the team at Hotel Corona to request adjustments to our booking, clarify questions etc…and they were always very quick at replying and were very helpful. The Rooms: We had two twin rooms and one triple/family room. The rooms were basic but had everything you needed. Rooms were very warm but did have windows to open if you wanted. They were thoroughly cleaned daily and towels replaced. Soap and shampoo was also provided. Tip - we found there were a lack of plugs in the rooms so bringing an extension plug would be recommended. The Breakfast: Overall, breakfast was great and prepared us for the day ahead. Things on offer included cereal, breads, jams, pastries, choice of eggs made to order, meat and cheese selection and yogurts. They also had a free-from section for those with dietary requirements. Drinks included water, various coffees and teas, and fruit juices. Service was brilliant and we were always greeted as soon as we walked in. The Location: As we were there to ski, it was a perfect location to visit Socrepes Ski Area each day. The Number 3 bus stops were directly outside the hotel and took us no more than 5mins to get to the slopes each day. The bus is also included in the price of the ski pass. Each evening, we walked the short 5-10 min journey into the town center where you can find ample restaurants and places to drink. The Ski Facilities: Hotel Corona does have a room to store ski equipment with an entrance directly from outside making it easy to access. The room is not heated and therefore our equipment was cold in the mornings. Socrepes do have lockers at the slopes where you can store your equipment overnight for a very reasonable price and stopped us from having to carry our equipment on the bus each day.
Unfortunately, the only negative experience we had was with the member of staff on night duty. He wasn’t particularly welcoming and getting a drink at the bar after 10pm wasn’t possible, despite daytime staff saying it was always open.
