Loved the decor and modern design. Raluca was so friendly, helpful and accompanying and really responsive by WhatsApp. The location is perfect - bang in the centre from the city centre. The room we switched to Noce was a lot bigger than Casagno and the AC did go cooler. The room we stayed after we travelled around Tuscany, Rover (?) was wayyy bigger and beautiful. I would book this one next time. The hotel doesn't feel like a 3*. Feels more luxurious like a 4* but facilities like coffee making are in the lobby rather than the room. I was a bit dubious about breakfast downstairs in the bar at Moyo where I read reviews it was only one of 4 options but it was actually very nice. You get coffee, juice and then a big breakfast (avocado salmon eggs, pancakes, a sandwich or bacon and eggs).

The AC did not get cold enough for me. I've stayed at another b&B around the corner previously so I know the AC can get colder. I personally don't sleep well unless the room is a lot cooler. We ended up switching rooms as Casagno is incredibly small - there is barely any space to put your suitcase let alone move in the room. This room was also very loud given the hotel is just above Moyo which turns into a nightclub. The remote in Casagno didn't work either (very "sticky") despite charging it.

The decor was very nice. Sofia was very responsive to messages and made very flexible check-in and out arrangements. The location is central which makes sightseeing pretty easy, there are lots of good restaurants nearby too. The breakfast served downstairs at Moyo was great.

Maybe just the stairs if you have a lot to carry with you. Though breakfast could be provided at Moyo, it serves from 8am (9am for hot dishes like the eggs) only.

We arrived at night and while there was not a person to greet us, the communication we received prior to arriving was adequate, clear and personable. This helped us to get our keys and everything we needed to know about our stay. The next day, we were greeted with big beautiful smiles from Sofia and she helped us get what we needed quickly. The whole reception area was stunning - it was a vibe - and felt very welcoming.

It wasn’t clear if the water in the room was free so it would have been a nice touch if it was. The room was gorgeous but it was really dark and could do with having better lighting. The sink and shower taps were fiddly to get to hot/cold water easily. It took us awhile to learn how to get to the right temperature and it was quite fiddly. The temperature in the room was fixed which meant we couldn’t adjust it to our liking. There were times when it was too stuffy and it would have been nice to have the aircon turned on then.

Very nice room, nicely decorated, very comfortable bed, excellent location, quiet.

There was a learning curve required to learn how to adjust the heat of the water when we had to take a shower. It was tricky to get the right temperature. The Internet connection in the room was also not consistent, while in the lobby area, it wasn't a problem at all.

Great location walkable to everything (though far from the train station). We stayed in two separate rooms (the guesthouse only has four rooms). The "superior" room was beautiful and spacious with good wifi. The "deluxe" room was SUPER small (barely enough room to walk around the bed) and the wifi essentially didn't work.

Breakfast is provided by the bar downstairs. It was fine, but just know that it's not a typical hotel buffet breakfast but more a set menu (only one coffee, etc). As mentioned, wifi in the "deluxe" room barely worked.

This is an Art and Design hotel where every details of the aesthetic is very well curated. Having previously lived in Italy for over a decade I was very impressed with how well the unit had been remolded to become an upscale and modern design hotel. Our room was very cute, and i felt the visual details, as well as comfort of the furniture was taken care of. Loved it!

The Air conditioning unit was near the window but behind heavy curtains, and even when the curtains were open the AC was not able to flow through the room. For reference it was 38 degrees Celsius during my stay so VERY hot, and some level of AC was needed to be comfortable but the unit was barely able to provide that. Moreover the window overlooked on to another unit's patio meaning people walking out to make phone calls could see directly into the room when the curtains (to get any AC) were open. The patio was attached to our window, it was pretty awkward trying to get some day light into the room and realizing strangers could watch you as they took a smoke break.

Benci House was the perfect place to stay. Decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. Lovely furniture and artwork. Felt like a little bit of luxury. Central for sightseeing and lovely restaurants and shops.

Not a criticism but just a consideration if you are an early starter. Breakfast at weekends don’t start till 9am. Benci is central though so you can always loop back and have brunch if that works better for you.

Location was perfect as i already knew the area. My friend liked the breakfast.

I think the room and bathroom were a bit dark even when all the lights were on. Difficult when you need to do your make up. And if your suitcase is a bit heavy, it is a bit difficult to take it up or down as there is not lift as is an old building.

We loved everything about the property. Quite possibly one of our favourite accommodations we have stayed in this Europe trip. It was so comfortable, spacious, clean and stylish. The aircon was extremely cold, great for the summer heat in Florence. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The location was also so convenient!

Nothing. It was perfect!

Very nice property/room, modern decor and stylish. Lovely location! Next to Palazzio Vecchio and Galerria Uffizi Plenty to do around, full of cafes and restos Extremely supportive staff and guided us with self check in. We had delays due to public transport strike and issue with the trains, they kept following up and checking on us. Comfy bed and pillow (good sleep)
