As I had read in other reviews, Sylvia the proprietor was wonderful. Her communication with me before the trip was excellent and continued to be during my stay. This hotel is an easy'ish (only because of the uneven pavement) walk from the Firenze train station. Despite how close it is, it was still a very quiet stay. Florence is such an easy town to walk in and you can get to everything from the B&B. There is a little Trattoria right across the street that was recommended by Sylvia and it was excellent for dinner.

The typical European shower is very teeny especially for shaving legs. But I managed. It wasn't a problem for me, but there is a step down into this room and a step up into the shower.

The location is very nice. 2 minutes away from the train station, with many restaurants and shops around and a Carrefour Express around the corner. The breakfast is so nice! Silvia gives you a leaflet where you can tick the products you want for breakfast and the time you want this to be delivered in the room. Our room had a table and two chairs, so we could have breakfast very comfy. The range of options is endless: toasts, croissants, fruit, pancakes, cake, ham, Nutella, eggs… Awesome!! The room itself was very good too. Good size room with a nice heating that can keep the room warm even if it’s very cold outside

Well located a short walk from Santa Maria Novella station. Carrefour supermarket nearby, as well as a wide variety of restaurants. Our room was a good size, comfortable, tastefully decorated and with a pleasant courtyard outlook, and came with air-conditioning, a mini-fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The included breakfasts were superb, delivered to the room each morning at a time of our choosing in accordance with our selections the night before from an extensive menu that included ham, cheese and/or cooked eggs. Hostess Silvia was friendly, helpful and very well organised. A delightful stay.

There was almost nothing we didn't like save that a receptacle on the shower enclosure wall for soaps and shampoos would have been good.

Our FAVOURITE stay of our whole Europe trip. What an amazing place this is. The host Silvia goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your stay and is so kind. The homemade breakfast each morning delivered to your room was a great touch and the room was spotless and well maintained each day of our stay. Honestly you just NEED to stay here. Location is also great, well within walking distance to everything but still in a quiet area. Highly highly recommend. Would defintely stay here again.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The B&B is in an excellent location to explore Florence and Sylvia is a great host. Breakfast was quite good with cooked eggs and delicious croissants. The fruit served was apples and a kiwi fruit, some berries would have been nice.

I found the doona very warm, a lighter blanket would be good. We were in room 7 and the cistern in the adjoining room is very noisy if people use the bathroom early in the morning.

Hospitality was great, Silvia is awesome! She was very friendly, cheerful, helpful, always responded quickly, and was attentive to our needs. Breakfasts were A++. Very well run B&B. Very close proximity to train station was great for travel days. Close enough to walk to all attractions.

Could use more places to put your stuff, like a dresser, more shelves, etc. in bedroom and a shelf or caddy in the shower, but all the positives about this place far outweigh this slight inconvenience.

The greatest asset of this property is Silvia who runs the entire stay. Her friendly and generous approach is a comfort for the ‘intrepid’ traveller. The breakfast provided is superb and the location close to the rail hub of Santa Maria Novella station is perfect if travelling by rail. A lift to the accommodation level for luggage and person is a bonus. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, on this our second stay here. The first stay sealed the second.

There is nothing about this stay that could possibly be negative.

The breakfast is fabulous- I loved that you could order what you wanted the night before and select the time for the breakfast to be brought to your room. There was air conditioning, a fan and a kettle and refrigerator in my room. Location was excellent- a few minutes walk from the train station, bus station and the tram from the airport. Very central, so easy to walk everywhere, but in a quiet street. The area felt very safe - I had no problem walking home by myself at night. Excellent value for money. I would stay here again next time that I come to Firenze.

Perfect location, exactly in the city centre and walkable distance to the main attractions. Silvia was a perfect host - she communicated well from the start and was understanding to my arrival time. She was friendly and approachable in the property and explained everything I needed to know. The property was perfect and had everything I needed for a few days stay in Florence. It was clean and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend to stay here.

Our best lodging on our 30 day Europe trip. The Host went above and beyond during our 3 day stay just 5 mins walk from Florence SMN TRAINS! The room was huge complete with table and chairs to enjoy her daily breakfast that even included eggs, yogurt, and 🍊 orange juice..plus Expresso and Cappucinos!! If you are in Florence... do not stay anywhere else..
