Amazing Hotel located in Mestre for those who are looking for a nice and wise costed stay in Venice! Definetly the best choice to stay in this Hotel, so modern, friendly and peaceful. The views to the marina were stunning , the beds super comfy (and huge!) and the breakfast was amazing, the area is spacious and the breakfast itself is simply wonderful with loads of variety on food. Amazed for having options of gluten free on a couple of things and dairy free alternative drinks for those who love their cappuccino in the morning like me! The Hotel is allocated within a walking distance of the bus (around 5 min) that goes straight to Venice which was super helpful. Regardless not being allocated in Venice, staying in NH Venezia Laguna was definetly the best choice rather than an over priced and dated Hotel in Venice, we felt like this was definetly the wisest choice we've done so far for this trip!

Apparently there's a law in Italy that does not allow Hospitality to switch on any kind of air-conditioning from Nov to April , for environmental reasons. Due that , the first Room we got in was just simply a steam room as it faced the sun the most of the day, unbearable to stay in. However, we've called the reception as soon as we stepped in and they happily offered us an upgrade to stay in a fresher room, allocated by the marina side which was amazing and 100% more comfortable.

The bus stop is in front of the hotel to get to Venice. There is a grocery store across the street. The breakfast was very good. The staff helped me out as much as they could. They were gracious. Grazie!😊

I don't know if I will ever understand Italy's electric system. Why do they need so many switches. Yet I did like the key card in a slot, so I didn't lose it. Also, it would be nice if Americans had more than one station in English for the television. The last thing I want to hear when I'm on vacation is the News.

It was optimal for the time I arrived to be close to the airport and of Venice...

The place and the breakfast

The shower was too slippery. My husband almost fell down, and the shower head always would fall down after you turned on the water. The blankets were too tight on to the bed. Only one chair in the room( please add more in the future) on staff at the dining area was mean to my daughter and also not nice. Kettle was not working even tho you would plug it in. We had to call a staff member to fix it.

The room was clean and really qualitative, the bed was so big. The staff was really pleasant and reactive. It is located at 15 min from a well deserved tramway/bus stop, 10 min from the bus stop for going to airport, and in a really quiet neighborhood (there is also a bus stop right down from the hotel, but it does not end late). All of this for a really reasonable price compared with the average for Venice, and booked 4 days before the trip.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We had rooms next to each other which were connected to each other with a door inside, it was very convenient. Beds are big and comfy, rooms are not small. Hotel is close to bus stop and the sight of our rooms was to the canal it was beautiful.

The heating was not perfect, 22C was the max to be set, but still cold air came from the AC. Shut it down was easier. The light switches were a bit messy for us.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. And a bit more room than most places we've stayed, in Italy. Close to public transportation. Good view of the bay. Staff was also helpful. We happened to arrive at a peak time, when there was little availability, due to the marathon race, and at peak prices. We were able to add a second day at the normal rate.

No real complaints. It's not cheap, but you do get a good value for what you pay. Only one minor issue, is that is there is no refrigerator.......I always like to have something cold to drink available.

The place was beautiful and had water and apples in the lobby. Very nice facilities. We had a standard twin room and it was nice, but on the small side. Bathroom was beautiful though. We also had a triple room for the kids, and that was AMAZING! It was like a suite, with a separate bedroom and a walk in closet, and again, a beautiful bathroom.

The wait to check in was long and took a long time till they went through every passport. Probably took about 30 minutes until we checked in. We had also requested early check in and they said they'd do their best to accommodate, but the rooms weren't available. That was frustrating but obviously it's not their fault. Parking was expensive. And I was very, very unimpressed with the staff. They overcharged us and worked soooo slowly.

Reception was understaffed each time we went. They should provide loads more info about how to get into Venice, how to buy tickets etc. We arrived on a train and water bus strike day but despite that they still printed our ticket instead of saying we didn’t need one. Then when printed they didn’t tell us we had to convert it at a machine into an actual ticket. Luggage store man had no idea where local supermarket was. Also on Friday night, having ordered and eaten starters and main courses the chef went home so we couldn’t order desserts !

The hotel is well located in Mestre 10 min from bus/train main stations. A bus stop connect directly to Venise. Personnel was very helpful and warm. Room are spacious. Breakfast is copious.

The room had some flaw in bathroom ventilation and when you came back the bathroom it was usually smelling humidity. This is due as well because the hotel is located in a Marina. Many items in the room were no properly maintained. All of this is quite annoying when you consider the price of the room displayed in the back of the door ( nearly 200 eur). Disappointed that if you want a breakfast not booked with the room it is charged 5 eur extra which bring the breakfast to 20 eur. The bed was to soft but it is personnel taste.
