A variety of bread is provided in the morning, sometimes there were tarts as well. There is also coffee machine. So breakfast is settled easily everyday. There are also cans of water in fridge provided. There is also also washing machine with laundry pads provided each time at 3 euros, and also dryer also at 3 euros. This is very useful if you are traveling for 2 weeks in Europe. The location is OK, about 11 mins walk from Centrale station. If coming from Centrale with luggage, you can take Metro to Ciazzo where there is a escalator up. But there is no escalator down and only stairs is available at Ciazz. So leaving the hotel with luggage,, you can walk to Centrale station. Nevertheless, if not raining, I would just walk from Centrale to the apartment even with luggage as the difference walking from Ciazzo is just maybe 4mins faster. Some are going to ask whether it's safe. We walked back at night couple of times, sometimes from Loreto, sometimes from Ciazzo or Centrale. Although it's quiet below the apartment, it was safe and there is also a jap restaurant nearby besides Slay. So it should be fine if you are not back very late. Nearby there is also a Rimon pizza where the pizza and nice and cheap, you can eat there or take away to the hotel to eat where there is microwave to make hot. Downstairs 1 min walk away, there is a Slay illegal burger which is also nice and cheap. The room size is also spacious enough for 2 pax.

Shower area a bit small.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The highlight for us was the free water cans for still and sparkling water as well as the biscuits and free tea and coffee whenever you like. They also offer free croissants each morning which was nice touch to the hospitality. Beds were comfortable and the decor and size of apartment was good. Location was perfect as we went on day trips from central station almost everyday. It is hardly 8-9 mins walk from station. They also have umbrellas outside for the guests to use and we did use them on 2 occasions for whole day as it was pouring. Overall a lovely place to stay when in Milan.

It wasnt as clean as we would have liked. Bathroom had mould in shower area. Daily housekeeping was good but the cleaning wasnt that high standards.

It was more than what I actually expected. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was free drinking water 24/7. The apartment was very neat and clean and they provided us slippers. We needed an iron and they provided us with it along with an ironing board. It was a very comfortable stay overall.

I don’t see any negatives. If I have to nitpick something, I’ll say that the bathtub is big and there is no handle to hold. You can slip in the tub if you’re not careful. An anti-slip mat inside the tub can also help. A handle somewhere to hold would have been perfect.

Large rooms with big bathrooms and quiet location. Checkin was easy and fast. We were able to park our large suv at a secure garage around the corner for only 15 euros a day. Hotel has a gate and locked front door which made us feel comfortable. Water, coffee and pastries available in the lobby. We used Uber to get into the centre which was about 15-20 euros. It was 97 degrees F when we went or else we would have been happy to walk a bit more. Staff recommended a restaurant called Dinkys near by for dinner one night which was very nice and saved travelling back into the centre after a full day of sightseeing.

Some noise from other guests in the hall as the came and went.

This hotel was brilliant and I was genuinely sad to leave. Extremely clean, comfortable, a great location only a few minutes walk from the Centrale station. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our last minute booking (we stayed here as the hotel we had initially booked was not clean and generally disappointing, and the 2 were complete worlds apart in quality). The room was gorgeous with a lovely little balcony. Great size and great value for money especially considering the location. Rooms had wifi, the hotel offered free coffee and water, overall I can't recommend the Residenza delle Città enough to anyone staying in Milan, would happily return again.

Nothing, it was fantastic.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Residenza delle Citta. It’s only a 5-10 minute walk from the railway station and is even closer to a couple of metro stations that we frequented regularly during our stay, so is very conveniently located. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean and the staff were great. Free coffee and bottled water in the reception were were lovely extras that we all appreciated and helped make the place even more memorable. We travelled as a large group and enjoyed the relaxed feel of this property. It had a really homely vibe and would be a great place to stay with kids. We’d happily visit again and would highly recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Excellent, super well kept establishment. Very clean and the staff was wonderful. The complementary coffee, morning pastries and fridge of cans of water were small touches that go a long way in making the stay super comfortable.

Everything within the walls of the property was completely great. The area was a tad rougher than I was expecting, but we walked to and from Loretto station with our two young sons each day and felt just fine. However, the one night when we stayed out past dark, we chose to take an Uber back instead.

Nice & close to Milano Centrale (7 min walk), but in an uninspiring neighbourhood, the true attractiveness of this place is only revealed when you go inside. Lobby is tasteful, with free water, coffee, tea, and pastries in the morning (yum). Staff are pleasant & efficient. Our room (sleeping 4) was really nicely done. Bathroom excellent, furnishings well selected and overall a good size. Lack of aspect didn't really matter for 1 night.

Stairs into the lobby a bit of a pain, along with the glacial-speed lift, but small problems really. As mentioned, neighbourhood a bit down at heel.

Close to the station, so very handy for trips out of the city. Coffee provided in the lobby - which was great, Croissants also provided I was upgraded and had a room on the top floor with a balcony, which was a bonus, and delightful Room serviced each day , which I had not expected. Towels changed, bed made, also appreciated.

Being on the top floor came with the downside of being under the aircon/heating machinery, which was noisy at night, but was an acceptable trade off for the balcony. Shower cubicle very small in this room

We very much appreciated the kindness, patience and attentive welcome from the reception after a long haul international flight. The complimentary sparking water was very much appreciated. What we loved most was the mid-century Italian decor and furniture, which was carefully and tastefully chosen. The rooms felt like home and the sofa beds were particularly comfortable. We will be staying again at the end of our Italian holiday before flying out of Milan and recommend it highly - especially to Australians who will find it welcoming and lovely!

Fresh milk in the fridge downstairs for guests would be a great addition for those of us who drink tea with milk, but this is hardly a "didn't like" - there's nothing not to like about people so welcoming and helpful!
