Location was excellent near Milan main rail station and public transportation. Breakfast was above expectations and the breakfast staff were very friendly especially Carlo. Air conditioning was really good . The TV was also good with variable international channels.

The bathroom for the single room was small especially the shower box which might be an issue for a big person. The safety box didn’t work neither were there instructions on how to use it. I informed the reception, the handyman tried to fix it but couldn’t do that and they didn’t replace it. I also asked the receptionist about day trips and tours, they don’t have informations or brochures about that and asked me to look online.

The location of Hotel Bristol is excellent. It is right next to Milan Central Train Station. There are metros, trams, buses nearby. Airport shuttle to MXP is conveniently located by the train station and runs every 10 to 15 minutes and it takes a little more than an hour to get to MXP. You can take the trains to various cities in Italy and other European destinations. Our excursion bus also leaves from the corner of the train station.

My room is centre station side room no is 114 it’s really un comfortable it’s room not sound proof to many shooed like Buses ,Cars public talking all over the night you never sleep comfortably if you need fresh air it’s impossible without shooed

Close to train station. Clean comfortable room. Pleasant staff.

Next door to a nightclub. We stayed on a Friday night and the noise from the club kept us awake all night.

The hotel is in a great location, the metro is 2 minutes away walk across the street and is connected to all destinations in the city. The Duomo Cathedral is a few stops away from the hotel. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good.I am satisfied with the value for money, and I would recommend the hotel to friends.

It's very close to Central Station. Has a nice ambience. Good breakfast. Overall good value for money.

There are few things which if they improve, will have much better image and rating. They kept water only for the first day. I think they should provide every day. How much does that cost? Or at least some one should inform while checking in. Also cleaning of room was not done when I forgot to hang the card outside. Atleast simple cleaning and providing toiletories will be good. Also no coffee or creamer was provided. Only tea bags were kept. These are small small things. But if one wishes to call it a 4* hotel, it's better to look into all these things.

I liked everything in the hotel, especially all sorts of decorations, interior. Room was good sice and the bathroom as well. There was quite a wide choice of food for breakfast. The location was especially good. You could walk to the hotel from the Central Railway Station. On one side of the station there was a bus stop for airport busses to Malpensa and on the other side to Bergamo Airport. There were taxis waiting at the Station. Next to the Central Station was a meeting point for day trip busses and connected to the Station there was a ”food street” where you could eat or take away very different food. A very convinient hotel for sb who travels with backbag and uses only local transport.

Breakfast was excellent. And consistently good. I stayed for 7 days and were already making friends with the breakfast staff and they were very very good. The cleaning staff is also very accommodating - cleanliness is number one. The big big bathroom is a plus. The front staff is also excellent providing very very good service.

not the fault of the hotel but there are roadworks outside. As such it was a pain to get UBER or Taxi booking. It kept pushing me to meet at the hotel next door. I suppose this will improve when the roadworks are over.

The staff were friendly and efficient. On arrival we discovered a few issues that we raised at the first opportunity, and these were resolved in a very professional manner by management to our satisfaction without hesitation. This is a 'tired' and older hotel, however the extra effort put in by management and staff helps greatly to balance any disappointment with the age of the hotel. Breakfast is more than adequate and staff in this area and reception are very attentive, The location is perfect for train, subway and taxi connections, only a short six minute walk from Milano Central station. Good overall....... hopefully with close management attention will survive as an older but friendly hotel as much newer properties emerge in the near surroundings.

Not to have a 'ramped' access when there are two short flights of steps to navigate front door access is a real negative. The older style foyer with grand staircase (and statues of two dogs !!), is shiny and clean but with limited lighting to highlight change in step level.... nearing dangerous. Provision of tea (staff advised there is no possibility of coffee) making facilities is by 'request' only ... somewhat annoying and unnecessary.

Ideal location just 250m SE of Milan’s Centrale Station. Great breakfast selection too. Charming old world ( well, 1930’s ) look and feel and service. The best coffee , using real fresh milk and not burnt like many other places , in Italy and we’ve been to all four corners of Italy !

Its old fashioned feel is slightly ruined by the annoying and totally inappropriate Italian pop talk back radio they play in the breakfast room. This has been the case on both occasions we stayed there 2 months apart. Not loud enough for any staff member to actually listen to ( why would you listen to annoying loud Italian ads selling lottery tickets anyway ?) but loud enough to ruin the atmosphere for the guests , who are mostly middle aged and non Italian . Why not play some nice Verdi or Puccini in the background to really complete the classical Italian experience?
