Everything was really good! The location is perfect - 3 min to Santa Maria Maggiore, 5 min to Colosseum and 2 min to an underground station. Every morning I've got yogurt and a bun. There was also a refrigerator, an electric kettle and a coffee machine. These things made my traveling comfortable!

The only thing which disturbed me were the thin walls. I heard everything from the reception. But fortunately both staff and neighbours were really quiet at night, so I didn't care.

Nice place, close to historical places- 13 minutes by walk to Colosseum, Forum Romanum. Close to metro and train stations. Room was comfortable, nice and clean, perfect for staying for 3 nights 2 persons. Kind receptionist, good communication during WhatsApp, clean towels every day, minibar 2 bottles of water, pack of salt, 2 yogurts and Coca Cola in fridge for free. Every morning sweet cake/croassant per person hangs on door or they put it into your room if you go out early morning. For that price really worth. Just notice, that you accommodate in centre of Rome in historical building with beautiful old windows, but because of this you can hear crazy Italian traffic also in late evening and early morning. But we were ok with it. No problem to find it, we got all informations in WhatsApp message before coming.

The owner was very pleasant, friendly and provided everything I needed. Every morning, a sweet treat awaited at the door. here were complimentary food and drinks available in the fridge. Everything was in perfect order.

The single rooms are located right next to the entrance of the "hotel," featuring a window that overlooks the public corridor of the building. Due to the constant opening and closing of the entrance door and the sound of the elevator, it was impossible to get any sleep. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend using earplugs.

We absolutely loved our stay. We got a big room with a beautiful painted ceiling. The room was very clean, equipped with air conditioning that was a life-saver with 35 degrees outside :D, a set of bathroom cosmetics, a mini bar included in the price full of drinks and yoghurts and there was a coffee machine in our room! Every morning we got 2 croissants hanging on our door - so that we could eat a small breakfast before going out to sightsee. The room was cleaned every day and the sheets were changed daily. The lady at the reception was absolutely friendly and helpful! The location is really good with a 15-minute walk to Colosseum, maybe it's a little further to di Trevi and other landmarks, but you can't have everything. Oh, and there is a very tasty restaurant downstairs (a little expensive, though). It might get a little noisy with the rooms with windows looking at the street, but it was not disturbing for us.

We could do with some shelves in the bathroom - in the shower there was no place to put the cosmetics.

The streets around the hotel are safe, it's close to the Termini train station, there's also a metro station nearby and the Colosseum is a 15 minute walk away. The room is clean and cosy, the mattress is comfortable and the sheet is soft. There was 2 yoghurts and Fanta in the fridge for free and free snacks, coffee and tea on the table. Free cake will be hanging on the doorknob in the morning. The receptionists are very kind and will guide you to the location of the hotel on WhatsApp. The hotel is at Via dello Statuto, number 44, 3rd floor.

I liked very much the room. It was small, but there was a nice big bed with white linens and several pillows, the room was very clean, small bathroom has a shower, toilet and bide as well as toiletries. The biggest advantage of the room is that it has a coffee maker and kettle. Coffee and tea included. There was a small fridge with beverages and yogurts. Teresa - the host was exceptionally nice and friendly and helped us around. It was also very sweet to get fresh cornetto in the morning of each day! The location is very good, just couple of mins to walk to Piazza de Maggiore, where there is a 2nd stop for Hop-on-Hop-off bus. Termini Train station is 500 m away.

What I did not like it was 2 days of raining in Rome, just a bad fortune. :) But it has nothing to do with the apartment.

We liked everything in the hotel Auditorium Mecenate. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean and it was cleaned every day during our stay. There was a coffee machine and a tea kettle in the room with coffee capsules and tea bags. They left 2 bottles of water for us every day and each morning we found croissants in front of our door. This is something I didn't experience in any hotel and it was so nice. The location of the hotel was also very convenient. It was close to the Termini station, it was walking distance from the Coliseum. But it was also a quiet neighborhood, far from the crowded streets.

The only think I'll mention is maybe the sound isolation, which is a problem in many hotel in my experience. The shower head was also a bit old and had some spikes that could scratch you if you're not careful.

Hotel was fantastic location to train station, bus stops, colosseum only 10 minute walk away. Host was absolutely lovely and attentive, got a text asking if we needed anything. Room was lovely had everything you needed tea and coffee facilities and fresh bakery on our door in the morning which was a nice touch. Even got little slippers. Room was nice and toasty and was easy to find. It’s opposite a pharmacy, brown door and go up to 3rd floor and ring a bell.

Very noisy street but it’s not the hotels fault so if you are a light sleeper this may be an issue for you

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is also super close to metro station and walking distance to Roma Termini. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They gave us breakfast and water every morning.

It was a bit hard to find the hotel since it is located within an apartment in the 3rd floor. No clear sign was visible therefore we needed to ask the apartment security.

We were moved to the Santa María hostel, were very happy with the room. Excellent location, room was clean, good size and quiet. Staff very friendly.

Agree with previous reviews for Auditorium Mecante that was difficult to find, the street address is accurate then you need to find the name of the hotel next to door to push the call bell (amongst 16 other names). The hotel is level 3.
