The location is perfect, very clean and it's really great, sheets and towels as white as snow are changed once every two days. The check-in solution is excellent. When I had something to fix, they immediately replaced it with a new one. Chapeau!

There are no facilities and no lobby, the public kitchenette adjacent does not invite use. The room is small, it's not a criticism, it's just worth knowing.

Was happy with the location - walking distance to Piazza Navona! It was also near the Vatican and other historical sites, so very convenient to get around.

Reception was open from 10am to 4pm only. I couldn't pay for our stay right away as we would leave early for the tours and come.back after dinner around 8pm. I had to get out of the tour and go back to the hotel to settle the bill within those hours.

We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation. The neighborhood is gorgeous, close to all attractions within walking distance. The building itself is old and you really get into the spirit of the city, there are several doors that need to be unlocked to get into the room which is en-suite, there is a corridor outside which has a small kitchen which is shared with more one room, no one bothers anyone, the refrigerator is enough for everyone to put what they have taken. The bathroom is long and narrow but fully functional, the room is also narrow but has everything you need, for two people it is perfect, after all, you go to Rome not to sleep, but to enjoy the eternal city , walking through it! The shutters on the windows are an absolute jewel, the arrangement of the ceiling creates a great coziness, every 2 days it is cleaned and towels and sheets are changed. The hosts are extremely nice and friendly, we would definitely come back to this place again!

Bollo is centrally located to everywhere. We walked everywhere with no problem. It’s incredibly clean and very quiet. Roberto at the front desk spoke very good English. He helped us get taxi’s and offered excellent advice. The restaurant he suggested was so good.

I couldn’t figure out how to work the AC. I told Roberto and it was working after we returned from our tour. I don’t know if it was me or the AC unit.

The location is AMAZING!! A lovely little walk down a nice tiny street and you are in Campo di Fiore marketplace, with the hustle and bustle of vendors, including clothing, flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables, Limoncello, and SO much more. Restaurants line the market plaza, and you can dine at a different wonderful restaurant each day. You can easily walk to the Vatican, the Jewish Ghetto area, the River walks, the Coliseum, and so many WONDERFUL highlights of Roma. This is the PLACE to stay! Roberto and his staff are right there- on site and ready to help. Thanks, Roberto! We will go back for sure, to the Bollo Apartments!

The only suggestion I would have is to get new mattresses. The "quadruple" room had a double bed and two twins, but they were like old cot mattresses. They need updating, for sure. The room was tiny- barely big enough for the three of us. But we were only there to sleep, and only for three nights, so it was fine. The location made up for the size of the room and the mattresses.

Incredible location and super helpful and friendly staff, thanks so much Roberto for everything including restaurant suggestions and calling a cab for us to head to the airport so we didn't have to walk to the taxi stand! I liked how it really felt like we were staying in an old Roman apartment building with the Annunciation art and wood-support ceiling making me feel like I was in another time :) However there was still working AC which was super helpful after those hot afternoons.

Unfortunately the mattresses were rather thin with detached headboards that banged around a little when we shifted positions, and we had some trouble sleeping even after our 30k step days walking around the city. We are starting to get a bit older though and maybe notice this more than a younger guest would :) The shower was very small but that would be expected in a small old building such as this.

Really recommend for anyone who want to visit Rome in a friendly budget. It's not a fancy place, but you get everything you need - comfy and clean room for 4, a little kitchen, it's in walking distance from everywhere, flexible check in and out times and all of that for amazing price. The stuff are nice and helpful. Overall I really enjoyed my staying, thank you :) .

For the price it's in my opinion an amazing bargain. It's not a new and fancy building, do not expect a 5 or 4 star hotel. There're some small things - the room could use some more lightning and, the beds could be a bit more comfortable and there's a slight smell of mold in the stairs room - But - non of that was really harmful for our staying, and the pros were much more weighted than the cons. Still recommend.

Really loved the apartment, such a lovely Italian rustic feel to it. Very clean & great use of space. Location is excellent, walkable distance from most sites, such as Trevi Fountain, Travestere area, the Pantheon etc. Close enough to the Colosseum & Vatican too. There are several really good eating spots, including a gorgeous little cafe called "Barnum", which is great for breakfast. You may have to queue to get a table, but it's usually just 10-15 mins wait time & worth it Roberto, big shout out to you, thanks for all your help in making this a really comfortable stay.😁

The shower was bad. The water was either scalding hot or completely cold. You could play with the dial and reach a temperature that held for a while--but took 10 minutes. That was the only problem in the room
