We are so glad that we chose this place for our stay in Rome. Everything was perfect. The rooms were cleaned every day, they change towels daily, and the space smells nice. The room had enough space and it is tastefully designed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, clean and functional - there was always hot water, clean towels, a sope, a shampoo and a shower gel. The breakfast was very good and tasty, savory and sweet, and they made us coffee every morning. The staff is so pleasant, attentive, friendly and helpful - there are always there for every questin, and they even arranged some tickets for us. We were very pleased with the location. It is near Termini station - walking distance, the bus stations are near, and we mostly walked to all of the city attractions. We took the bus when we felt tired and it works well (bare in mind that we walked for hours and hours daily). There a lot of restaurants near by, and the best gelateria is just ouround the corner. Check in and check out were very easy and fast. As far as we are concerned this was a spot on. If we come to Rome again, we will definitely choose this place for our stay. I've never seen such kind hosts in Italy as in Deseo Home! I highly recommend this place! It is close to the train station, but still far enough to feel safe walking by yourself at night. The bus station is in front of the building, metro lines A and B are also very close, but you can also walk to the city center, so the location was perfect. Everyone who works there is so positive and helpful, and I will definitely stay there again! Also, the good thing is that they have a buffet breakfast, which is rare in Rome.

Good location, opposite a bus station (62) that goes to the center but also 7 minutes walking distance from metro. Very friendly and helpful staff, the first day they gave us a map with certain routes we could follow during our stay. The breakfast was very good and since the last day we had to leave early in the morning to catch our flight, they brought us breakfast to the room the night before, thank you!

The heating was only air conditioning although there was also a radiator - a little problem because in the bathroom there was no way to get warm.

Everything was exceptional. From the first contact to the very last and I hope to return one day. I liked that the staff made me feel welcomed and provided me with step-by-step directions and advice on how to travel from the central station to the hotel - they were very responsive. All staff were so lovely and welcoming. Good breakfast options and the coffee was great also! They also allowed me to prepare a small take away pack from the buffet breakfast on my first morning so that I can have breakfast for the following morning as I would have missed it due to an extra early check out. To top things, the owner heard that I was due to leave the hotel at 3:00am the next morning so that I can walk to the station and catch a bus to the airport - he generously insisted on taking me so that I am not alone at that hour (not that I felt the area was unsafe at all), but he was very thoughtful and kind.

The room was clean and modern. The hotel staff speak good English and it is located only a 10 minute walk from Termini. The breakfast was good and the staff were kind enough to make me a tray breakfast the night before when I was leaving early before breakfast service. They also allowed me to store my luggage before check in and after check out. The area the hotel in is very safe and located right next to the UK embassy and some lovely gelato places so felt safe as a solo female traveller. I would recommend staying here.

I got soaked in a thunderstorm and had no means of drying my clothes (the towel rails despite being present were off in the building I was informed). The hairdryer cut out every 2 minutes and then had to wait 5 for it to cool down and start again.

The beds & room are super comfortable. The breakfast had an abundant variety to choose from and was very tasty. The staff is very helpful and we loved the wet bar outside the rooms for tea anytime.

We did not like the layout of the bathroom in room 202. There is no door to the shower only for the toilet and feel they should have an outside sliding "barn-style" door for privacy getting in and out of the shower. The shower was too small. The rooms are clean and we love the wardrobe cabinets and ledge behind the bed. The ROOM could use a FULL-LENGTH or additional MIRROR in the bedroom area.

We really like staying at Deseo. Apartment was really spacious, clean and comfy. Staff were cleaning the apartment every day, which was nice. Breakfast was nice and staff were very polite and hospitable. Location is pretty good, close to public transport. We would definitely recommend it.

It would be nice if breakfast would be different some days, but this didn’t lessen our experience. :)

Super clean and very nice rooms. Breakfast was super convenient and tasty. Rooms were extremely clean, and the cleaning lady did a fantastic job resetting the room each day. Location was decent. Walkable with luggage from the train station but far from the attractions. The manager was super friendly and let us drop our bags early and even took them up to our room while we explored. We told him how long we were staying in Rome and he gave us a mapped out plan for each day to make the most of our visit. Really top notch service.

The shower drain and shower head were a bit rough. The first day the shower head was loose and leaking. We got them to fix this issue. The drain kept clogging, despite efforts to fix.

Very lovely accommodation in Rome. Great choice if you are staying for a couple of days in the city. The inner city and the attractions are around 20 mins walk from the home and also accessible with bus and metro. The bus stop is right in front of the home so super convenient, but not really regular. The metro stop is a 10 min walk too. The room was super clean, the bathroom was amazing and the cleaning stuff is really nice. The reception staff is super kind and helpful. The room was small and no view for me but that was no problem for me. I really enjoyed my stay at this place. Breakfast was variable and good selection in cold buffet and pastries.

Be aware if you have any pre-paid cards like Revolut there might not be service connections (maybe because of the old building) and your card wouldn’t make the transaction. I had this issue so I had to pay in cash but the stuff was super nice.

I actually really enjoyed my stay. I got the double room as a solo traveler so I had a lot of space and I liked the layout of the room. The front desk staff was always available and super friendly. The breakfast was actually really good for what I'm used to in Italy and the lady who served the coffee was very nice. It is a bit pricey for what you get and there are a few things that could work better (like the shower door which doesn't close properly) but it was peak season in Rome, so the price is to be expected. The area is nice, which is very important for me as a female solo traveler. There are embassies around and Termini is about a 15 minute walk that is easy to manage even with a suitcase. The city center is a bit farther - depending on where you want to go, it's a 20 to 30 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this place for people who come by train and want to stay close to the train station.

Small details like the shower door and the not so nice view into a dirty courtyard. That wouldn't keep me from coming back, since one is supposed to spend the day outside when in Rome.
