Breakfast was excellent. Their was a wide variety of foods to choose from, very good scrambled eggs and lovely fresh fruit were highlights. The coffee beans used in the machine made the best coffees in the morning. Absolutely delicious. The room size was fairly good for Europe, which tend to err on the smaller side. But it was enough for two people to comfortably stay and still fit all of our luggage. The bathroom was modern and clean and the shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable. Location is very close to the termini which is great. The staff were always friendly and helpful and were kind to help us make a restaurant reservation for us.

It is located a little further out from the centre and from the main sites so it can be quite tiring particularly if you have a long day on foot and it is hot. The pillows were standard hotel pillows which unfortunately are too soft for us and did make for some discomfort.

Tasty breakfast, fresh croissants, great coffee, selection of fresh fruits and fruit salad, a little garden with a bar was pleasant, kind and helpful personnel. The room was nice and clean, a little small, like everywhere in the Rome city center. The location is super, within walking distance to everywhere. The bed was comfortable and the room was cozy. We had a nice stay!

. Lovely hotel with comfortable beds and a good breakfast. The contents of the mini bar were free (first round), which was a very pleasant surprise. Walking distance to all the main highlights. There was a mistake in the booking, where Booking.com had the wrong information and image associated with the room type/name, and we ended up in a smaller room than expected. We were upgraded to a Deluxe room on the second night, and staff were very helpful about it and left us some complimentary wine. Would be very happy to stay again.

Although it is not clear in photos, the shower has a glass door and is visible from the bed in the Classic Room.. . This may not be ideal for those who prefer more privacy. The toilet door is wooden, as normal.

Friendly informative and helpful staff All areas of hotel immaculate Coffee and breakfast fantastic and rooftop bar a lovely chill out space with pretty view And aircon in bedroom welcome after a long hot day sightseeing Metro A & B and main station within 10mins walking distance

Nothing i didnt like about the room, some reviews say it's a little small but its no smaller than other places we've stayed in Italy ... when your sightseeing all day its only used as a base to refresh and sleep will definitely recommend this hotel and visit again Area hotel is in is quieter and close to many embassy's with some good resteraunts within a couple of minutes walking distance definitely worth visiting

Loved our stay. Location was fab and less than 10 minutes from the train station + both metro lines. All the staff were nice and polite, especially those who worked in the Terrace Bar upstairs. We adored the rooftop, beautiful view and so calm and chill once you have been walking everywhere. The room was very clean. Our bedroom was on the small size but that didn't bother us (we also saw bigger rooms so probably just ours as it was for two)

Two things I would change - our bed was made up of two singles pushed together with a sheet to hold them. They slid around a lot on the ground, so did almost fall through the cracks a couple of times. I wasn't massive on the breakfast food - it was okay and there was extra food that you could buy but I just found it all a bit bland and cold.

I was travelling for work, the location was great for my office visits, and ok for visiting the tourist sites. The rooms are nice and modern, the WiFi is fast and the breakfast has a great selection and is well worth paying for if it's not already included. The hotel is very clean and all of the staff are friendly. When I've stayed before and had a problem with my room they happily moved me to an alternative room.

The hotel is not very eco-friendly. Towels are replaced every day and small single-use plastic tubes of toiletries are provided instead of refillable containers. Air conditioning seems to stay on even if you leave the room and take the key card, so it you forget to turn it off before leaving, that's a waste of energy. City tax is not included in the price shown on booking.com but I think this is normal for Rome.

There was a problem with our room and we couldn't stay at the hotel, but they provided us with an upgrade at another hotel from the same chain, The Tribune. They also paid for our taxi to get there, so no complaints from our side.

I don't know how long prior to our arrival they knew that they could't accommodate us, but it would have been nice to know beforehand if possible, to avoid frustration and time spent going from one hotel to the other, especially since we arrived very late at night and just wanted to get to bed.

Clean and calm Not far from the city center

Breakfast room Too small, even tiny After Covid period it is unacceptable not to have enough space Tables are so small that on the table for 2 people there was no space for 2 plates and 2 cups When we reserved a table for 4 in order to have space and not see what is on the plate of the neighbor, we were asked not to sit there as there are only 2 of us I cannot understand how this hotel can have 4 stars Breakfast - assortment and that tiny breakfast room certainly was not on the 4-star level, even not 3*. For 2* it would be ok, but for 4* that was unexpected thing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Guardian Hotel during my visit to Rome, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the reception team, who made me feel right at home. The room I stayed in was incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, offering the perfect respite after a day of exploring the vibrant streets of Rome.
