We were one of the first guests in the hotel and the room we stayed in had never been stayed in before so it was actually fantastic. They have a pillow menu, the staff are very helpful and friendly.

It has an old lift with those old style gates that is like a cage but it’s in good working order and maintained. There is no iron in the room. Breakfast is quite small but coffee and fresh orange juice is good! Given the hotel had only been open for a few days I’m sure it will get even better

I took my mom to Rome to celebrate her birthday (Her first time to Italy) and stayed at Palazzo Venere. Everything about the experience was outstanding and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family. My warmest thanks and appreciation to both Marzia and Jacopo who welcomed us to their lovely hotel and took care of us during our stay - these two have mastered the art of hospitality and are real treasures! Special thanks to Jefferson, Mirela and Manel - it was a joy to wake up to breakfast with you every morning, and thanks for your kind birthday celebration for my mom! And thanks to Inga and Adi on the housekeeping team, the rooms were always fresh and spotless and the turndown service was pure luxury! A few other things worth mentioning: 1) The location is fantastic! You're in the center of everything and can walk everywhere, but the hotel is nestled on a little street without crowds and throngs of tourists passing by. 2) The buffet breakfast was extraordinary, the choices were extensive (Pastry, yogurt, eggs, bacon, variety of breads/toast, smoked salmon, fruit, local honeycomb and the list goes on) and there was plenty of it! 3) The beds are so comfy, divine even! 4) The shower was spacious with plenty of water pressure. 5) The AC was awesome. 6) Newly renovated, tastefully furnished and very clean. Until next time, grazie mille!

I can't think of anything I didn't like. Everything was wonderful! My only suggestion: Hang a photo of Sophia Loren on the wall. If you've stayed at Palazzo Venere, you'll know what I mean.

The location of the hotel is great- in a really walkable area and near many popular sites and restaurants. The room was very clean and the breakfast was nice. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and gave us some great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. I would recommend this for travelers who don't plan to spend much time in the room and who don't have a lot of luggage with them.

The room was quite small, especially because we were traveling with large suitcases. In the photos it looked like there was access to a public garden terrace but it turned out to be private to a specific room.

Our stay at Palazzo Venere was wonderful! The hotel staff was warm, welcoming, and hospitable. They were available to assist with all questions and requests and gifted us with some surprise treats during our stay. The hotel and room were very clean and luxurious! The hotel rooms were newly updated, efficient, and thoughtfully designed. There were plenty of outlets, USB, and USB-C slots, and light switches in multiple locations including next to both sides of bed. Our deluxe suite had a king bed and two single beds- perfect for our family of 4. It also had a powder bathroom in addition to the spacious full bathroom. The bathrooms were gorgeous! There were two TVs, but we did not make use of them. Our room was serviced daily. The included breakfast was such a delightful start to our days in Rome with plenty of options. The charming, vintage elevator is small. However, my family preferred to use the open staircase alongside the elevator. It was carpeted and had artwork to view along the path. Everything about our stay was perfect. We sincerely appreciated the hotel staff!

This was such a wonderful stay and it made our trip to Italy even more beautiful. The staff were kind and accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. I had mentioned that it was my 30th birthday and that I was looking for restaurant recommendations. Not only did they give us great recommendations, they even brought a bottle of champagne and cookies to our room! It was a lovely gesture and went such a long way in making our stay even more comfortable and special! The room was gorgeous and the terrace was lovely. There was even a heated towel warmer in the bathroom which made all the difference since we visited in December. It was a perfect stay and we will definitely be back!

Nothing!

The hotel is excellent, modernly renovated, very clean and in a very good location (a minute from Piazza del Popolo and a few minutes from Piazza di Spagna). Breakfast was wonderful, everything was super fresh. We particularly liked espresso and fresh orange juice (they are complimentary). The icing on the cake is the inimitable staff (primarily we had contact with the people at the reception and while having breakfast). They had time for all our requests, found solutions and were charming and witty. Some of their creative solutions to our problems, which we thought would be difficult to solve, will remain in our unforgettable memories. We highly recommend the Hotel Palazzo Venere, where we will return the next time we are in Rome. A big greeting to the entire team of the Palazzo Venere hotel, and a special one to Marzia and David.

This hotel is the BEST in Rome. What a find! The location is fantastic, just a few minutes to the Spanish Steps and not far from the Trevi Fountain. The park is just around the corner. It's beautiful. From the minute you walk through the door, you are welcomed by the wonderful staff. Marzie is on reception and is so kind. All the staff are great. The room we stayed in was absoultely stunning, it was so clean and new and gorgeous. The breakfast was a feast. Everything was top notch and we loved our stay there.

I wouldn't change a thing! It was fabulous.

The Hotel has an amazing location right in the heart of Rome, just steps away from the city's top restaurants, shops, and attractions. It's truly a "tearjerker" of a location - you're in the center of everything. The hotel has recently added some brand new furniture, which I really enjoyed. Even though my room was on the smaller side, the new furnishings made it feel cozy and comfortable. During my stay, I didn't have my laptop with me, but the hotel staff was incredibly accommodating. Since they don't have a dedicated business center, they personalized a cozy space for me to work, setting it up to function as a makeshift business area. It had all the essentials I needed to be productive. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I required. Beyond the personalized workspace and new furniture, the hotel staff in general were amazingly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They truly took great care of me. I highly recommend the Hotel Riviera for its unbeatable central location, thoughtful staff, new furnishings, and their willingness to personalize the experience. It made my trip to Rome that much more enjoyable. I'd happily stay here again.

The breakast needs to be better…

Beautifully renovated with great taste, staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel is clean and the beds comfortable.

Breakfast was very basic to say the least for the price of this hotel. The quality of some of the products was really not up to the standard of a good hotel. So if you choose a hotel over an Airbnb for the sake of a nice breakfast in the morning… well….it’s not the case here. You can buy more space and comfort for the same amount of money at an Airbnb, especially if you are traveling as a family. Also, upon check out, they charged us with a Prosecco wine we never had and two bottles of water we never took from the mini bar. I explained about the Prosecco and they kindly removed it from the bill….
