Located 10 minutes walk from the centre of San Gimignano, this is a small slightly dated hotel located just far enough to avoid the day trippers for some peace and quiet, but also very close enough for a gentle stroll (10 minutes slow walk) to the old town. We stayed in one of the Annex rooms, which was clean, and had air conditioning with a small fridge in the room which is handy. I highly recommend this hotel, if you are looking for simple no fuss stay close to the old town. The staff were helpful, which was a far cry from the last time we visited in 2020, when the receptionist couldn't even manage a smille.

It was very difficult to find a parking space close to the hotel, so when we finally did find out, we couldn't risk moving the car for the 2 days we were there. The room had no "do not disturb sign", therefore you had no option of asking the cleaners not to come in, and they just open the door whenever they want to clean. The floor of the shower in the annex was very very slippery, and you really need to be careful to avoid slipping and fracturing your skull. It will be helpful if the hotel management can invest in some anti slip mats

The staff is very kind and most helpful, the lovely receptionist even moved her car to make space for us at the parking lot. The room was comfortable and clean. The location is perfect, along the quiet street that leads to magical San Gimignano that is just around the corner. The hotel also has a beautiful restaurant perfect for quiet and romantic dinners. We will definitely come back. Thank you for everything.

Great location. Short walk to old town. Exceptionally helpful staff. Allowed me to check in early which was very welcome on a wet day. Lovely big sunny balcony . Comfortable room. Perfect for relaxing. Great restaurant and good value. Super breakfast.

Pressure in the shower was very poor while I was there. Hopefully it was a temporary problem as everything else worked perfectly.

Stayed in a family room in the annex that was great value. Good beds and bathroom (but maybe a bit impersonal). They offer a very nice breakfast on the patio. Great location with a 10-min walk to the town. They helped with parking right of the hotel. San Gimignano is a gem and should be visited. Don´t miss to visit Gelateria Dondoli. It has the best icecream I´ve ever eaten!

The location of the hotel is very good, with nice view to old city and just short walk to the center. breakfast was nice, but I saw that after 9.00 they did not re-fill and for instance some things were not available any more (eggs, some cakes...).

The room was very basic, but clean and it was ok for us for 1 night stay. wi-fi was not working properly in the room that was apart from the main hotel building.

The hotel is right outside the old town 10 mins walk and there is free parking space in the area which is very important. It was a decent place , value for money, very clean , good breakfast and with a very friendly receptionist.

Excellent location, five minute walk to San Gimignano. Very clean rooms. Breakfast was ok, fresh and tasty.

The staff at reception spoke little or no english. The hotel has central heating which can be a problem since you cannot set the temperature in your room. There is no soundproofing, you can hear everything from the room next door.

Very friendly staff. Clean comfortable xmall hotel. Very good breakfast. Restaurant was largely empty but I was served by a delightful woman from Singapore and the food was excellent.

San Gimignano actually. Rather a sterile town. Beautiful architecturally but soulless, as if no one actually lives there, just tourists, so it was nice that this hotel was just outside.

Free parking near the hotel .Excellent location about 5 minutes from the city center. Kind and helpful staff, good breakfast

A small bathroom with little space to place personal toiletries.

Wey good value for money-we did not have a room with “the view”, this reflected the price but we did have all the other hotel facilities available to us- ie terrace with view. Superb evening meal and good choices at breakfast.
