Aside from it being a stunning hotel, in the perfect location... The staff is what made this place incredible. Nothing was too much of a hassle, every single person we encountered was friendly, had a smile on their face and made sure we had the best time. Ivan and the team have great advice on where to go and what to do and organised affiliated bookings at beach clubs and restaurants for us. In addition, the breakfast was unbelievable! Eggs cooked by order, an amazing selection and a beautiful setting to eat it at to match! Massive room and bathroom, stunning decor and styling. No better place to stay in Sorrento than here!

Fantastic place, delicious breakfast (best we had in Italy during this holiday) and great location. Great welcome and lovely happy hour on the terrace in the evening sun. We loved the room and all the little touches about the whole place. Also enjoyed the beach club and the MoMo restaurant that the staff booked for us. We are very well-travelled, and it’s very rare for my teenage children to want to go back anywhere, but this has made the list to return to - thank you for the lovely stay we had with you.

The fist night the staff offered to book the restaurant for us, and it all worked out really well. The second night we got a recommendation for a restaurant, but the (different) staff who were stoking that night didn’t offer to make a booking for us, and when we got to the 1st restaurant on the list, there waiting time was 1.5 hours! We didn’t starve, and found a nice place ourselves, however, it would have been nice to be offered to book the restaurant for us that night as well as it must be a known fact locally that the restaurant gets so busy.

My room was large, exceptionally clean, and every member of staff was always smiling and helpful. The included breakfast would put some 5 star hotels to shame. It was varied, freshly prepared, and plentiful. Located in the old part of Sorrento the hotel is withing comfortable walking distance of numerous cafes and restuarants, scenic points, bus and ferry services to all the Amalfi coast towns, and the train service to Pompeii, Versuvius and Naples. It was the most relaxing place I have stayed in - and I've stayed in many around the world over many decades.

I couldn't complain about anything.

This cute little hotel is in a good location, just a few mins downhill from the main square and round the corner from the elevator that takes you down to sea level. For those who struggle with steps, there are about 10 or so steps when you enter the building and then there is an elevator which takes you right to the main reception door of the hotel. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. We were welcomed with a lovely gesture in the form of a chilled bottle of Prosecco. Excellent breakfast with seating inside and outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also little shop downstairs to buy good quality food/alcohol souvenirs.

We stayed in an attic room which was comfortable but perhaps a tad small. The kindergarten on the ground floor can be noisy with sound travelling up the middle courtyard to the top of the building where our room was.

The localion was close to everything: the old piazza, porto di sorrento, and you can just walk wothout getting bored (we walked max 10 minutes from the trainstation) They cleaned our bedroom 2 times per day. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom eas clean They even waited for us with a bottle of prosseco in a bucket with ice. It has a nice view+thr hotel is new. The staff was amazing and helped us fast with everything. At the breakfast we had many options. It was great.

The room is a little bit small for persons which are used to big rooms.it has like 14-15 m2 + bathroom 5-6 m2.

The room was beautiful , nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom and the shower were also clean and nicely renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful (24/7). The location is excellent, very central. Breakfast could be improved. Self service coffee machines will be much better. The restaurant close to the hotel MoMo was excellent, went two nights. Great food and service (10% discount for hotel’s guest). Rooms were sound proof. Our room had a big and double size window.

The beds were a little hard for our taste. Pillows were too low and they were all the same. They should have different heights and sizes. If you are a light sleeper you may get disturbed by the street noise early in the morning.

A fabulous hotel, located in the centre of the old town made getting around so easy. Our superior room was large, bright and beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. All the staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, special mention for Ivan, Salvatore and Clara who produced an amazing breakfast feast.

Only downside was the noise from the bar/restaurant directly beneath our room (Room 103) which made sleeping very difficult but nothing that earplugs didn't fix! A small inconvenience for a fabulous location in the centre of town.

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon in Italy and visited 4 cities and stayed at 4 different hotels. I am picky when it comes to hotels, and all of the perfect reviews seemed too be good to true -- let me tell you, all of the reviews were accurate! Of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy, Maison Il Conservatorio was by far the best - we couldn't recommend it enough! Daniella and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We stayed in the Junior Suite for the first two nights of our stay, and it was amazing! We were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, and the room was exquisitely spacious, clean, cute, and nice! Daniella recommended local restaurants that weren't "touristy" and helped make reservations for us. She also helped us by reserving a last minute reservation as Marameo Beach Club where we got 15% off everything (the entry fee and food/drinks) - we had a great beach day with more friendly staff! Last, but not least, the hotel had the most amazing breakfast (included with our stay) -- a gorgeous spread of meats, cheeses, homemade pastries, fresh fruit, juices, and more -- AND there was an amazing chef making eggs/pancakes upon request. We had an absolutely perfect stay and wish we would have been there longer. Don't miss out on this hotel!! We will certainly go back when we have the chance!

We had to change rooms during the middle of our stay because the Junior Suite wasn't available for the entirety of our stay; however, Daniella and the rest of the team made the room change very easy and smooth!

Everything about this hotel was perfect, so much attention to detail throughout the hotel and into the beautifully decorated rooms. The staff all so friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and replenished quickly and there was an option for cooked items on request. Bed was comfy, air con was powerful and the shower is the best I’ve seen in a hotel - lots of space and hot water on demand. Housekeeping was excellent and on the evenings we were out we came home to bed turned down and complimentary sweets left. On arrival there were 2 complimentary bottles of water, a well stocked fridge and we were able to store our own drinks in there too. Complimentary flip flops (nice touch) and selection of toiletries which were replaced daily. We’ve stayed in many Italian hotels and B&Bs and this one has definitely gone straight to the top of our list. Magnifico!

Nothing at all to dislike

Stay at this hotel at the end of May for a week. It’s amazing. Beautifully decorated rooms with a very large bed. Breakfast included in the price was served on the terrace with a vast range of cakes, breads, fresh fruit and freshly made eggs. Great free wifi, I was watching live rugby on my iPad. A mini bar is in the room at reasonable prices. Right in the heart of Sorrento so plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel.
