Great location, 3 min to the cable car which goes to the old town up on the hills and 8 mins walk away to the famous beach. Room and bathroom was clean and decent. We got a nice sea view from the balcony. A nice restaurant with a view located in the hotel so you might try. Breakfast was only €8 which was sufficient.

We didn’t know that we needed to pre book the private parking area, they need to ask to the customer as soon as a booking in place. In One of the rooms we booked with the friends, there was an insect found. I believe this is due to that rooms are located in a garden like area and it is not because of the rooms were unclean or so, however, still better to know if you are super afraid of insects. While some of the staff were so kind, some especially the waiters who work in the restaurant side left us with an unwanted feeling both during the drinks and breakfast.

This was my second visit to Hotel Villino Gallodoro and I really loved my stay here. Firstly the views from our seaview terrace are just incredible. On our final night, we spotted a pod of Dolphins swimming in the distance. The staff are absolutely incredible - Angelica in reception was so helpful and kind to us during our stay. She really went to extra lengths to make us feel comfortable and love our stay even more. The location of Hotel Villino Gallodoro is excellent, with Mazzaro beach and the cable car up to Taormina only a 2 minute walk away. The beautiful Isola Bella beach is around a 5-minute walk (careful as there are no footpaths and lots of whizzing buses and cars) from the hotel. The bedrooms with the seaview terraces are the best on the property and worth every cent.

The shower in our room was truly awful. The pressure in the shower was like someone spitting on you, and it would somehow run out of warm/hot water during the shower. I had to wash my hair in the sink as the water completely ran out from the shower.

The accommodation is really very close to the beach, about 2 minutes :) At the same time, it is also close to the cable car, which is also great. We loved the view and the terrace :) They cleaned thoroughly every day.

Overall, we got what we were looking for. We were looking for a nice accommodation with breakfast close to the beach and this is what we got. Maybe I could improve the breakfast menu. It is true that there is everything, but somehow the selection is still minimal.

Location, Breakfast, View, Staff and Assistance A special mention - the hotel staff were extremely helpful, courteous and extremely welcoming. I felt a bit like I was at the White Lotus but a fraction of the price and on the beach. The location is actually fantastic, walk to the beach, gondola and lots of small shops for anything you may need. 10/10 would recommend!

The room was very clean. It has a nice terrace in front of the door, with sea view. Hot water all day. AC working great. Breakfast was good, but it only had sweet food available, keep that in mind (croissant, chocolate, marmalades). Parking inside the propriety (10 euro/night). Close to Isolla Bella (10 minute walk). Wifi working ok. Ww could pay with credit card.

The room was near the kitchen, so it was noisy (we could hear the staff and all). But we were tired after a long day and we managed to sleep really well. But it's good to know this if you have kids or you are a light sleeper, ask what room they have available.

Located close to Mazzaro beach, there are lovely views from the hotel. A short walk to the gondola which takes you to the town centre. The restaurant at the hotel was fantastic with some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. A nice variety for breakfast. BEST of all was the staff throughout, especially in reception and the restaurant. Our room was lovely with a great bed, beautiful linen and bathroom. A little terrace outside to sit for a drink or read. I hope we can go back to stay one day.

Great location if you want to enjoy the beach or get fairy quickly to the upper part of Taormina. The property has its own parking which is 10 Euros extra. The room itself is on the small size with a very small bathroom, but the view and personal terrace make up for it! You can see the sunrise right from your window/or terrace! Property has its own restaurant which we did not go (we should have!). The breakfast is good with freshly baked goodies, jams, cheese, cured meat. If you want to be in the heart of town, then I would suggest to stay in upper part. Then, you would have to think about parking and getting to your hotel since the central part is open only for pedestrians

Size of the room

A gem of a hotel. Beautiful room with a spacious bathroom and terrace and fabulous views of Mazzaro bay from the breakfast terrace. Ideally located for the funivia cable car and easy access to Mazzaro bay. Extremely helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A few minutes by taxi to Taormina Gardinni station but check the price with the taxi in advance as we were charged 20 euro for a 2 minute journey.

Fair offer for the price in such attractive location - very close to the beaches and cable car to the old town. Nice and clean room with comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast for a very good price, eaten on a lovely terrace with the sea view. That's the main reason for me to recommend the place.

The balcony overlooked the background of other buildings and the trash containers. Trucks with garbage came also at night, causing a horrible noise when emptying the bins. But... considering the price of the place, the location and breakfast made a very good compensation for this inconvenience.

The hotel is perfect for solo travelers - you can easily reach it by public transportation and by car too. It is also perfectly located between Taormina itself and the beach. Funicular is 5 min walk; beach is also 5 min walk, isola Bella -10 min walk. Breakfasts are simple but fine. Staff is very very helpful and sweet, really appreciate their personal touch and care. Thanks a lot!
