Really good maintenance done on the building. It looks updated and they keep it in perfect conditions. Everything is working properly. The cleaning made me feel absolutely at home , I am very strict on that and I fell really comfortable. The possibility of leaving the case before check in and after check out The close distance to the ferry to go to the airport (only couple of streets) It made our 24hs in venice perfect. the hall of the rooms is the area of the breakast and in the morning you may feel no privacy by having people outside your door having breakfast. But everybody is calm and it is not noise or distrubing, they take care of that and breakfast range is reduced to 1h so it is a positive thing, you know it will be people there only between 9 and 10 in case there is any one and it won't be immedaitely in your door. It is the space they have and I prefer it like this instead than without breakfast. They make it really friendly and warm just waiting for you to prepare the coffee that you want.

The location was very close to the water taxi station less than 200 m walk. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The owner was very attentive with a wonderful breakfast and a great selection of food to choose from prior to starting each days journey around Venice. There were a number of restaurants within 3 to 5 minutes walking distance from the property. The location was also quiet with no worries of loud tourist parties and noise after about 9 PM.

The only two drawbacks we can think of was the rather steep flight of stairs to get to the second floor. However, that is simply part of the construction of homes in the area. The only other drawback was you were on the opposite side of Venice from Saint Marks Square. However, Venice is small enough that it only took about 15 minutes to reach Saint Marks and it was a wonderful adventure getting from the hotel to the large Piazza. After all the journey is half of the fun.

Really clean, contemporary accommodation. Very close to the water bus port/taxis, a lovely little canal and only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of bars/shops and restaurants with all main attractions a short walk away too. Lovely little breakfast room with the most delicious fresh croissants each morning.

Only negative I had was breakfast was due to be served 9-10 am which is quite late for us but we knew this on booking. We had 4 mornings at the accommodation and every morning the owner was 10-15mins late to arrive and have the breakfast ready for us. I like to get out early on holiday. The owner however was lovely so it’s not a deal breaker just something to improve on. Also we couldn’t use the air con as it had a pin on it so I got quite hot at night.

We loved the area that Al Pozzo di Luce is located in (Cannaregio). We did not want to stay in San Marco, but rather experience more local and residential spots in Venice. The B&B is also very close (1 minute walking) to Fondamente Nove, an important water bus stop. Especially handy when you want to explore the northern islands such as Murano and Burano.

There was not much we did not like about the property. We could have done with a bigger garbage can as we sometimes consumed snacks in the room. But since the room was cleaned meticulously every day, this was not really a problem.

the location is very nice and quiet but still close to one of the main streets in Cannaregio. the room was lovely, small but comfortable, while the bathroom was very spacious in comparison, with an amazing shower. everything was spotless clean. the fact that all the rooms surround the pretty kitchen with tables for breakfast conveys a super cozy atmosphere.

if you want to have breakfast at the facility, it's a bit late, from 9 to 10. otherwise, you are given the possibility to have a simple breakfast at the affiliated bar nearby, but it's not as nice as having it at the b&b itself. still, this is just a minor issue and didn't really affect my stay, which I'm really happy with.

Nice big clean bedroom & bathroom, hot powerful shower, safe, fridge in the room was very handy. Modern looking, original features but modern. Lovely breakfast, croissant, fresh bread and cheese/ham/salami, as well as yogurts, fruit and cereal. Excellent location near the water bus stop to the airport, and other islands/locations, but just outside of the busy areas, nice residential area. Easily walkable to most of Venices attractions. Alessandra was great, we ate at some of her restaurant recommendations, let us leave our bags before checking in and after checking out, we were able to get our breakfast at a local cafe when we went out earlier than usual.

What an absolutely delightful stay we had at Al Pozzo di Luce. The location was perfect in a quieter area of Venice which allowed for a leisurely walk to the main sights and a chance to wander the sidestreets and canals. The B&B itself and our room was very clean and welcoming. The breakfast and coffee was also delicious which made for a great start to the day. And lastly the communication and service was absolutely first class. We couldn't have asked for more. Overall tremendous value for money and I would highly recommend for anyone who wanted to enjoy a more authentic stay in Venice.

Very cosy, super clean and everything looked new. Absolutely quiet at night, given that all 4 tenants in this B&B are considered with the nearness of each other's rooms. I was very lucky with quiet neighbors during my stay. Great location, 3min by foot to the boat terminal for airport travel, or going to the outer islands Murano/Burano. Lovely 10-15min walk to Rialto bridge, you can also take again a boat nearby that drives around the shore into the main canal to you destined stop in less than 30min. The personal that comes to serve breakfast in the morning, takes care of the rooms and is you main contact during the visit, is super nice, immediately responsive and helpful in all matters. Thanks for this lovely experience! I felt like a guest in a home rather than a tourist in a touristy area.

If the neighboring tenants are not considerate in their noise level, this could become an issue as it is quite a small space all together.

The room was just nice for a couple and the space have some pretty cool decor. If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in Venice with little to no hassle. This B&B would be a good fit for your needs. We like that it's really close to the water bus station so getting to the airport was a pleasant experience. Huge plus!

Before we could get to our room, there's a steep flight of stairs that we have to overcome and it doesn't help if you're carrying heavy luggages. There's not much of a view.

Very easy access to the vaporetto- with no steps or bridges between - which made it much easier with luggage! Felt very safe and comfortable as a solo female traveler. Many cafes and restaurants and a small supermarket nearby.

There is a flight of stairs with no lift to reach the rooms. I managed my suitcase, but it’s something to keep in mind. Breakfast is only between 9am and 10am, but if you need to get breakfast earlier you can go to a nearby cafe.
