Lorenzo was so helpful and charming. His staff was lovely, too. The building was charming; it felt like we stepped into the 17th Century. Just a short walk to Saint Mark's Square and the Rialto, it was a quiet and lovely neighborhood, perfect for exploring and not being overwhelmed by crowds. If you stay in the canal view suite, make sure you notice the painted ceiling, it's like what you'll see in a palace.

This is truly nit-picking and not really a complaint at all: the pillows could be a little better, and the short glass wall in our shower made it a little cold. We were there in the winter so summer travel will probably not have that small problem.

This place was wonderful. It is in the perfect location for a lot of the things people go to Venice for.... The Rialto, The Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, San Marco Square. It overlooks a lovely historic square to the front and a canal to the back. The host was delightful, helpful and offered suggestions as to where to eat. A cleaner came daily although we prefered to be left in peace. We had a large suite with a huge bedroom and private sitting room but there was also a big communal area. The Wifi worked perfectly.

Well the furniture was a bit random, some charmingly old and wardrobes just old conti-board. A shelf in the bathroom would have been an asset, but these are very small matters.

Lovely B&B over looking a canal view in 16th century setting, amazing antique gondola window on the waiting area, Lorenzo very kind and helpful with everything gives suggestions about Venice must see and where to eat. The room very clean, linens are fresh , kettle in the room and tea and coffee. Ionised H2O. Free toiletries etc Over all our stay is very comfy and rested well. Kept our luggage after check out. It’s a place where you feel very welcome like a home. Close to all attractions like Rialto bridge, St Marks Basilica, gondola boat rides, museums and restaurants within walking distance. 3 stations by boat from piazza Roma Highly recommended and good value for money

The place was amazing. Like a fairytale. We got a free upgrade to the room due to availability. Lorenzo communicated very well and detailed. He was very nice, gave us recommandations for local restaurants, places to visit and methods of travel. Room was clean and well heated (for december). Building is old but well kept. Looks so cool. Like u are back 500y ago. We were able to leave luggage there after check out and pick it up later in the day. Unbelieveble value for money overall.

It is a beautiful decorated Venetian style house located in the heart of Venice, so convenient to walk everywhere. The host Lorenzo is truly the best, we had to come at the different day due to my daughter’s performance date changed, he was so kind to accommodate us a room for the day we need. And he gave us great recommendations to different restaurants and gelato places, even the best place to see sunset and etc. I cannot recommend enough to his place. very helpful and welcoming staff. the apartment was clean and cozy. the owner explained very interestingly the uniqueness and historicity of the house and the area and he shared restaurant and dining recommendations. the air in the apartment was pleasantly cool. the window had a view of the canal. The apartment location was very good. there was a very good breakfast cafe near the house. the gondola riders were located next to the house. After check-out we could hold our bags without extra charge on the house.

We had a fantastic stay at B&B San Firmino Canal View in Venice. Lorenzo is a wonderful host - welcoming, attentive, and always available with great recommendations. The rooms are beautifully decorated with authentic Venetian charm, and the canal view is truly stunning. The location is ideal - close to the main sights but tucked away from the crowds. It felt more like staying in a home than a hotel. Highly recommend!

The location is just perfect and super convenient to all the attractions! It's located at a beautiful square next to the canal. I really love the location; it is in the center of San Marco, less than a 6-minute walking distance to both San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge water taxi terminal. If you are traveling with big luggage, I recommend getting on/off at the Rialto Bridge station – way less going up and down to the B&B. Even though the building was built in the 16th century, the historical vibe is just right. And don't worry about the facilities: the A/C is cool enough, the bed is comfortable, the hairdryer is powerful, everything is super clean, there's an elevator, an electric water boiler, and a mini fridge. I want to thank the manager, Mr. Lorenzo! His kindness and amazing hospitality made our trip exceptional in Venice. We had a great time following his guidance. Venice is not a tourist trap, but you have to know someone from Venice to give you the tips. Lorenzo helped a lot!

The location is perfect - very close to historical places, lots of shops and restaurants. Our suite was very large, clean and comfortable. Lorenzo took care of us the whole time - from the beginning to the end. When I come to Venice again, I already know where I will stay. This will definitely be my favorite place in Venice!

The location is excellent and relatively easy to find, right on the Camp Santa Maria Formosa square. The owner did a great job of sending us maps and pictures to help. It’s very old and quirky- an ancient hotel apparently, reworked into a B&B. Very well done bathroom with nice shower.

The old locks were a challenge. Be sure you are clear on their function when you check in. Also the bathroom needed soap and shelving in the shower and around the sink area. Bed wasn’t great but we slept well.
