This place was wonderful. It is in the perfect location for a lot of the things people go to Venice for.... The Rialto, The Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs, San Marco Square. It overlooks a lovely historic square to the front and a canal to the back. The host was delightful, helpful and offered suggestions as to where to eat. A cleaner came daily although we prefered to be left in peace. We had a large suite with a huge bedroom and private sitting room but there was also a big communal area. The Wifi worked perfectly.

Well the furniture was a bit random, some charmingly old and wardrobes just old conti-board. A shelf in the bathroom would have been an asset, but these are very small matters.

The location is just perfect and super convenient to all the attractions! It's located at a beautiful square next to the canal. I really love the location; it is in the center of San Marco, less than a 6-minute walking distance to both San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge water taxi terminal. If you are traveling with big luggage, I recommend getting on/off at the Rialto Bridge station – way less going up and down to the B&B. Even though the building was built in the 16th century, the historical vibe is just right. And don't worry about the facilities: the A/C is cool enough, the bed is comfortable, the hairdryer is powerful, everything is super clean, there's an elevator, an electric water boiler, and a mini fridge. I want to thank the manager, Mr. Lorenzo! His kindness and amazing hospitality made our trip exceptional in Venice. We had a great time following his guidance. Venice is not a tourist trap, but you have to know someone from Venice to give you the tips. Lorenzo helped a lot!

The location is excellent and relatively easy to find, right on the Camp Santa Maria Formosa square. The owner did a great job of sending us maps and pictures to help. It’s very old and quirky- an ancient hotel apparently, reworked into a B&B. Very well done bathroom with nice shower.

The old locks were a challenge. Be sure you are clear on their function when you check in. Also the bathroom needed soap and shelving in the shower and around the sink area. Bed wasn’t great but we slept well.

Beautiful room overlooking the canal, gondolas passing beneath our window, Lorenzo who contacted us was friendly, helpful with any issues, very welcoming, like having a local friend. The room was comfortable, original Venician style but very cosy. Great location, less than 10 minutes walking to St Mark's and the Rialto Bridge with a square just behind with restaurants as well, absolutely loved our stay.

The bathroom was a little old but Lorenzo fixed any small issues we had. Won't stop me from going back!

Venice is quite a small city, but the location was excellent and well-placed for most things one might like to do there. The room was really lovely and provided a view on to a little canal. Lorenzo, the host, was very kind and provided some excellent recommendations.

If I was being very particular, the bathroom could do with some updating and there was some damage to the lovely traditional Venetian flooring.

the rooms are tucked away next to the canal on one side and a beautiful Square on the other. yet only a few minutes walk from the Rialto Bridge or St Mark’s Square, it all feels so very grand and Venetian. our room was large and spacious with a view over looking the canal. it was warm and clean and decorated in a beautiful way. Lorenzo the host was just so lovely and welcoming. recommending a great wine bar and fabulous restaurant we had a wonderful stay and would recommend staying here if you are in Venice.

Lovely location & a beautiful large room overlooking the canal. Check out is 10am but could leave our bags & got given a spare key to pick them up when we were ready.

Kettle in room but no coffee which would of been a nice touch. Blinds in bedroom didn't close but didn't realise there were external shutters because of the aircon we didn't open the windows. Hairdryer didn't work & no safe key available.

Nice place to stay, the hosts were really kind. The ceiling and floor from the place are original from the 1600s. Location is optimal as well.

Could be noisy sometimes as there are some restaurants nearby (it’s not like the owners can control that but it’s good to take into account in case you’re looking for a quiet place to stay).

The palazzo is in a quiet square with a canal...but still close to Piazza San Marco and at walking distance from the train station. Close to everything but a quiet and airy environment is something not easy to find in Venice ! We had 2 large rooms beautifully decorated and had this fantastic feeling to be at home. Lorenzo and his colleague are super friendly and very helpful. This place is really a little gem!

The location is perfect, very beautiful and authentic. It can be difficult to find which is just unavoidable in Venice. But a member of staff was very helpful and came to find us, even helped to carry the luggage. Breakfast was fine, typical continental breakfast. Our room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

For non-Italian visitors like us, the concept of coffee is a bit different. For breakfast, it would be nice if they were more used to "Americano" coffee, with a large pot of coffee so that we can refill our cups. Instead, you have to ask for added water (lungo) and for an extra cup of coffee. Also in the room, there are only tea bags, no instant coffee. But not a real problem, the staff are very friendly. Also, even though our room and bathroom were fine, we met another couple whose toilet didn't work, and they had no hot water, so that was bad luck for them.
