The location is central to the main tourist sights. It was quiet at night. It was very tastefully finished inside in a classic style and the hosts left a complimentary bottle of wine.

There was not a proper check-in process. On booking.com we were told that we would pay in full including cleaning and the city tax but we had to make a separate appointment to pay these last two charges in cash. This was inconvenient to us. There was some discussion on heating as it it only available for eleven hours each day and as it was late November it was cold at times. The wi-fi was very bad. Replacement towels had holes in them. Finally, there were a few small niggles like no bed-side tables, some blown bulbs, lack of sockets in the bedroom, a broken shower head, some weird dust in the bathroom, and a slightly broken bed. Nothing to detract too much from our stay but none-the-less these should be taken care of.

Location, Spacious, Wine rack choice (at a good price).

Could have done with a mobile contact number as travelling, it isn't always easy to find your way around and achieve your meeting time (even though we were on time, could have been 1/2 hour either way).

Absolutely wonderful location, even though all of Venice is technically in walking distance of itself it felt like we were right in the middle of it all, even though the place itself was very quiet. The place itself is spacious and well secured with a double gated entrance. There is fans available for cooling and the beds were not half as 'uncomfortable' as a lot of people described in other reviews. A wonderful element was the wines that were offered (at cost) from the owner's own vineyard in Veneto. All in all a perfect accommodation for travellers on a little bit of a budget.

Small pointers that would have made the stay even better: - Mosquito netting for the windows - One more comfortable chair or a two-seater - A little more storage space for clothes/personal items Otherwise, no notes!

Picturesque traditional building with ground floor apartment on a canal with views along the water. Great location close to main square and excellent restaurants nearby.

Difficult to find, no indication on building that it was not a private dwelling. I missed the emails (travelling) explaining that copies of passports for all guests were required before details of access to apartment would be provided. Took some time to sort out. No in-person contact emails only.

Great size apartment in a location that is close to everything, at a great price. The flower boxes and canal views. The complimentary bottle of wine and access to a great selection of other wines was a lovely touch. Staff were very responsive and easy to deal with. We had a great stay and glad we picked this place.

The wallpaper was slightly stained, and the kitchen could have been better equipped. For example, the moka pot was not very clean and there was only one mug. As a light sleeper I needed ear plugs for the early morning canal noises. But these were all minor things we could very much put up with because of all the plus points.

if you travel from central train station it is about 30 minutes walking distance and could be a liitle bit uncomfortable with baggage. But the location is very close to Realto and San Marco and it is really in the middle of all popular sighseeings. There is no sigh for the Palazzetto San Lio and Google map showed the location somethere in the water canal :)) so it took a time to find the real location. For the future guests: find Hotel Bruno, it has a huge sigh on it and easier to find, then Calle del Frutariol just to the left side of it and walk to the end of this narrow street. Pallazetto is on the right end side. Very well equiped kitchen, rooms with nice local interior, comfortable beds. Very supportive staff. There is a crazy pizza just arround the corner, very tasty and not expensive to try while just arrived Ö‰)

should stay longer to enjoy the city and the place, 2 days are really very short for Venice.

We enjoyed the stay a lot the location was quite decent not far at all from the centre. Beautiful room and very comfy bed. We had a lovely stay and if we did come to venice we would probably stay again.

It was expensive but I'm pretty sure it wasn't too bad for Venice I think everywhere is expensive it was probably worth it as the quality was good.

The location was perfect. Almost all attractions are located nearby. If you want a Venetian atmosphere you would also like the place itself - in the heart of the city, in an old house with a view of the canal under the windows. The apartment had everything you need for a comfort stay.

Although it was stated that there was an internet connection in the apartment, it was absent throughout our stay. We reported this to the hosts but the issue was not resolved while we were there. I guess there was a technical failure. Good thing we had access to ours or this would have been a really big problem.

The living room area, the kitchen reasonably well-equipped, the location, the staff were prompt, reassuring us about some of our questions, the fact that we could leave our luggage after the check out. The complimentary wine was a nice touch and good wine variety was provided for sale at really good prices. On the whole, I would recommend this location and it's a good value for money.

The beds were not very comfortable, not much space left to move around in the bedroom. Two single beds were not quite suitable for a couple. There was no airflow in the bathroom and there was some mold on the walls. The key of the main door didn't work so we had to use the code every single time.

I like the high level of attention

It was all good. I made a mistake of staying on a ground floor, something I requested. My advice: while in Venice, try to always get top floor. The city of Venice is filled with mold, not something about this hotel specifically. Internet tends to be also very limited…
