Excellent staff, friendly & helpful service & central location. Rooms had a ovely Venetian decor, quiet, great shower & bathroom facilities Tea/coffee facilities in room Breakfast suited everyone with traditional european & western foods incl pastries, scrambled eggs, fruits, yoghurt etc Thankyou for organising the clothes iron so we could dress suitably for our special dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Greatly appreciated !

From the moment we met the person minding the front desk, it confirmed we had made an excellent choice of hotel. He was polite yet friendly, and whisked us through the welcome process. The room, while on the small side, was equipped with the best and most comfortable bed of our three weeks in Italy. The hotel was very well located in a lively yet quiet at night part of Venice and was close to our vaporetto stop from the train station. The bathroom and shower were very nice as were the towels and toiletries. The supplied breakfast in a comfortable dining area each morning was also excellent, serving a variety, including scrambled eggs, granola, and the guests' choice of coffees, toast and jam, pastries, and fruit juices.

We mention the convenience of electrical charging stations as a minor issue, and given the age of the hotel's building, the hotel did its best. We are certain that the demands of our connected world are not going to lessen in the coming decades and so exploring multiple solutions available at one receptacle location may be a worthwhile investment. Otherwise, we could not have been more delighted by our stay at Al Piave!

This is a really beautiful little hotel with lovely interiors and a great atmosphere. I stayed in a single room so it was small but had everything I needed, and was comfortable. I stayed two places in Venice on this trip and this hotel had more little amenities that make for a nice stay: the kettle and tea/coffee in the room were appreciated, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with gluten free options (the hotel is known for this) and hot and cold food, pastries, cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, and more. The staff were kind, and I was able to leave my luggage after checking out on my last day.

1. It's a great location for those who likes walking, which we did a lot indeed. It's close to the main sightseeing points. 2. Daily cleaning service is well-done. 3. Friendly staff at the reception. 4. Next to that as our flight was changed we had to leave earlier and would not make use of the paid breakfast. They prepared for us small snack bags to go. That was very kind!

1. Hotel is on a street with a cocktail bar where the music is very loud. It was unusual the first night, but as we walked a lot the following days we were tired and did not mind it any more as we were falling asleep quickly. 2. Pictures on the website are taken from a complimentary angle, they look bigger and more spacious.

The room was so cute and we loved our little private terrace. The staff was so friendly, and so helpful whenever we had questions or needed to find a place. The little map they gave us when we arrived really helped navigate the immediate area too. Breakfast was surprisingly good with limited but unique selections. And you should definitely try the hot chocolate which was amazing! One thing is they referred to our room as the top of the tower or top of the mountain and it definitely was. Six flights all the way up. It was a lot of work but worth the effort.

If you do get the tower room, beware the low slanted ceilings and the extra tiny step into the bathroom.

Loved the hotel, so beautiful, good breakfast. It gave us a lovely ‘we’re in Venice’ vibe. Super friendly lady who made our coffee every morning. We had a good stay. Recommended!

The only thing I can say, which is not related to the hotel itself, it’s quite a walk from the vaporetto station.. unfortunately my mom struggled with mobility at this time, so we purposely booked this hotel as it has a lift. But didn’t realise it would be so far to walk with many stairs over the canals from the station. For any guests planning to stay who are less able to walk - keep that in mind/take a water taxi?

Great little hotel in a perfect location for touring around the city. Breakfast was good, room was nice, and the staff were very helpful and kind. It was also great to have the elevator available to reach our room on a higher floor. I would definitely stay again!

My only minor issue was that our first day in Venice was quite cold, wet, and windy, and the radiators in the room had (I believe) been turned off for the season. I know it was very warm in Venice the prior week, but would have been nice to have the option of heating the room on the chilly day. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The hotel was in an excellent location. It was so clean and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and coffee were a great addition. The hotel was happy to keep our luggage during the day as we had a late flight. We would definitely recommend and will return. We had 2 family rooms and each slept 4 comfortably which suited our party of 6 adults and 2 teens perfectly.

No elevator to the 1st or 2nd floor, however the staff were very helpful with assisting us as we had lots of heavy luggage.

The staff were very friendly. It’s a tad off the beaten path, but we really liked not being in the heart of the super touristy area. It’s a quick walk to St Marks and it was quiet. The breakfast was fantastic. We stayed in the room for 4, though there were just 3 of us, and it was spacious enough. It’s a short walk from the water bus station. Also, the air conditioning worked great! I’d stay there again!

Just be mindful of the stairs so pack as light as possible.

I must say, I am extremely delighted with the overall experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff provided exceptional service, ensuring our stay was memorable. The room we stayed in surpassed all expectations. As advertised on the hotel's website, the size of the room was indeed superior. It provided us with ample space to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful city. The attention to detail in the room's design and furnishings was truly commendable, creating a cozy and luxurious atmosphere that added to our overall comfort.

I was dissatisfied with the limited availability of electrical sockets in the room. It would have been preferable if there were a few more of them.
