Amazing hotel - the location was excellent - a few minutes and you are Piazzo san Marco. Our host, Federico was the perfect host - we had very detailed instructions for self check-in as we arrived late. Breakfast was very nice and relaxed, we were served fresh fruit salad, coffee, croissants etc - all served with a smile! We had a wonderful welcome from Federico the next day, and plenty of useful tips about how to make the most of our short time in Venice. Each recommendation we followed was just as good as he said, from restaurants to walks. Thank you Federico, you made our stay! We would definitely book Relais Venezia again if we are lucky enough to return to Venice!

Everything was perfect, really, but if I was being very picky, a mirror above the dressing table in our room would have been useful :)

Lovely small hotel minutes from St Marks square, but in a quiet side street. Ticks all the boxes - and even better, the very helpful hosts Federico and Leonardo give excellent recommendations on restaurants, what to do, and where to go to have a super Venice experience. Definitely recommended.

This was the 3rd leg & hotel on our trip, from Milan, Bellagio & then to here, Relais Venizia which was easily the best hotel, (taking into consideration that the first two were 4star hotels). Frederico, Elena & Leonardo were VERY welcoming, friendly & very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate our needs. I accommodated the two rooms suite for my friend & myself which was exclusive from the other rooms, which gave us complete privacy. The breakfast area is furnished beautifully & does not resemble a dining area at all, it is that comfortable.The hotel is sited adjacent to the canal with the gondoliers & water taxis passing continuously, is a sight to behold. In the other direction via the little alleyways are the Restarants, gelato parlours, shops, Marco Polo Piazza etc. I would have scored this hotel 11/12 out of 10 if it were possible &.would recommend if you want genuinely lovely welcoming people that make your stay as comfortable as possible,then this is the Venzia hotel for you.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL.

It was a perfect boutique hotel and at a very reasonable price! It was in a perfect spot within a few minutes of St Mark's Square and Rialto bridge. We did various long walks around the city and could easily return to our hotel for a short rest. The staff were all so incredibly nice & helpful, from the moment of booking. Frederico gave me instructions about how to transfer from the airport & made some superb dinner recommendations. The hotel room was very clean and the room service was daily and perfect. At the end of our visit, Frederico ordered us a water taxi which picked us up literally from the canal outside our door! I would definitely return to this hotel and have highly recommended it to friends and family

Venice was our first stop on our first trip to Italy. We had no idea what to expect, but trusted the reviews of Relais Venezia as a good place to stay. Right from the beginning, Leonardo and Federico were responsive and extremely helpful, communicating via WhatsApp. During our stay, we spoke with them multiple times getting invaluable advice about where to go, what to do, what to expect, etc. That alone would have been enough to recommend the Relais. However, on top of that our room (actually more of an apartment) with a kitchen fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils, double bed, sofa bed, entryway, and bath, was always wonderful to return to after a day of walking the city. If we get a chance to return to Venice, we wouldn’t hesitate to make Relais Venezia our first choice.

The location is perfect, halfway between Rialto and San Marco, so everything you need is a short walk away. Federico and Leonardo were exceptionally kind and attentive and did everything to help us with local information and useful recommendations. They were also incredibly flexible on our last day holding our luggage so we could enjoy the city until our departure for the airport.

We found it a bit tricky to locate on the first day as it is in a small side street, but this was a small inconvenience in an overall lovely experience. Both my daughter and I would happily return.

My partner & myself has visited Venice in August 2023. We stayed at the Relais hotel for 4 nights. Hosts, apartment and the location are exceptional! highly recommend this place!

We booked for four days over New Year's Eve and were very well looked after by Leonardo and his brother Federico from the very first second and at all times. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from St. Mark's Square. The water cab takes you right to the hotel door! The hotel has just been renovated in recent years - we had a very nice room. Breakfast is included in the price; you choose what you would like on arrival. Everything is freshly prepared by Elena, who serves breakfast personally in the small, beautiful lounge on the 1st floor. Leonardo and Federico provide you with their restaurant and sightseeing recommendations, help you book a water cab, etc. We felt very comfortable and do highly recommend this small, pretty oasis to anyone. We will be back!

Nothing to complain about!

We loved the location, the rooftop view from our room, the beautiful bathroom, the wholesome breakfasts, but most of all, we loved the staff! Federico, Leonardo and Elena made us feel right at home and catered to us the whole stay. They gave us suggestions for restaurants and helpful tips to navigate the city and made sure we made the most of our stay.

There wasn't a single thing we didn't like! Everything was fabulous!

We had a fabulous stay in this well appointed, clean and spacious hotel, 5 minutes from San Marco. We stayed with our two sons (18 & 20), in two rooms. We had excellent pre stay instructions including details of how to get there by both public and private transport. And everyone was so helpful with recommendations of what to see and do and where to eat. The breakfasts are excellent. You chose what you want the night before and the wonderful Elena serves everything beautifully. The rooms are big by Venice standards, modern and spotlessly clean. But it’s the staff that make this the best place we have ever stayed in Venice (and maybe Italy) Leonardo is a wonderful host who understands the highest standards of customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. We left a set of AirPods in our room and they were sent by fedex the next day! We are going back!
