Spacious bedroom, a view of a canal, good continental breakfast. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast room, lady. On the edge of the centre of things, so a bit quieter. Easy walking to shops, restaurants, sights, and ferries. If your parking at Tranchetta, take the waterbus straight to the Rialto stop, as it's then only 8 or so minutes walk to the hotel. Google will take you on two separate waterbuss and 20 to 30 minutes walk all up with your bags.

The bath was a bit awkward.

I stayed here for 5 days, 4 nights. It was an excellent option to explore Venice from the city's heart. I didn`t use boats, only walked on my feet everywhere. The hotel is 15 min to San Marco Square. The room was small but enough space for everything, the bathroom is pretty big, compare to the room ) heating and hot water, and many towels were included. Good breakfast. Cruasans and meat were so delicious! There is also an elevator and rooftop. You can observe a beautiful view on Venice from the 4th floor The food store in 1 min near the hotel, and trattorias and gift shops are also very close.

I had the perfect stay possible at Ca' d'Oro: the hotel was excellent and situated in a very picturesque area of Venice - only a 10 minute walk from Rialto, 15 minutes away from Piazza San Marco. My room was small but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom facilities were modern, spotless and perfectly equipped. Breakfast was a true highlight, offering a wide range of products suitable for every taste. I especially enjoyed a different type of cake every morning :) Staff was very friendly and always available in case of need. I wholeheartedly recommend Ca' d'Oro and I'd definitely go back there when visiting Venice again.

There was a bit of a smell from the drains in the bathroom at low tide. I mentioned this and the housekeeper put some chemicals down the drain

It is perfectly located, only a few minutes' walk from the Ca 'D'Oro ferry stop. Also, the hotel is clean and welcoming. On the first day, a complimentary bottle of water was provided in the room.

I stayed in a room close to the elevator, so I heard every person entering or exiting the hotel on the second floor, nevertheless, I am not a light sleeper, so it was OK with me. Only disappointed by the coffee quality and the view from the window to the outside shutters, which cover the "no city view" of the courtyard.

Hotel Ca’D’Oro is a hidden gem. The hotel is located off the busy tourist streets in a quieter charming neighborhood in Venice. It’s just a 5-8 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge and 10-15 minutes to St. Marks Square! The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable! And the views from the roof were simply incredible! As a solo female traveler, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Venice!

The 24 hour reception with no additional late check in fee was really important for us as we had a late flight that was delayed but we had no stress knowing it would be open when we arrived. I thought the staff were very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace was an added bonus that felt very relaxing with a great view. The room had pretty much everything we needed and it was very clean. The location was also perfect being just outside the busy part but easy walking distance into the centre. The aircon was very pleasant.

The decor is dated and not to our taste however this is the same for most hotels in Venice. Our shower door was very difficult to operate and would get stuck. It would have been really handy to have a fridge in the room but they allow you to use their main kitchen fridge when you ask.

We booked the canal view room which exceeded all expectations! The view was incredible with 2 canal view windows and a third with a street view! Spacious and comfy. The location was great only a 15/20 minute walk from the Basilica and close by to plenty of restaurants, canals, bars and shops! The rooftop terrace was amazing and such a beautiful area with a great view!

The room was a little noisy from the room from above but not too noticeable. Breakfast was busy with more guests than tables at times.

Although the price was a little bit high (but then again most hotels in Venice were) the room we booked (superior room) was very spacious, very clean, and very quiet. The reception was very helpful. The area was very convenient; you could walk both north or south for just 15 minutes are reach tourist areas. Highly recommend!

The air-conditioning did not seem to be working, so this may be an issue for visiting during the summer, but otherwise all else was fine.

Room was clean & wallpaper was beautiful, so it was yellow and not blue like in the photo. Also it seemed Much smaller than expected, I also thought l we were getting two completely separate beds but found two twin beds that really were twins & were smashed together like one bed not separate I did have separate bedding for each. I hadn't slept in a twin since college & They were so small I rolled off my bed the first night 😳 But the room was really well appointed & it was incredibly quiet in fact i didn't hear a single soul the entire time and the staff was so gracious to give us an extra fan to keep the air moving even though the air conditioning did a great job keeping it cool. Also We had a view of the side street and could stick our head out the window and see the canal, & other than how small the space was it was pretty much a perfect room & location & first great and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Nothing really ( except maybe having our two separate beds pushed together as one bed and then once they were separated sleeping on one teeny tiny single bed was a bit of a challenge ) but otherwise it was pretty much perfect.
