This is the hotel I was most looking forward to staying in for my husband and I on our honeymoon, and I was not disappointed! When we entered the hotel lobby, the manager took us to check in very warmly and elegantly, introduced us to the history of the hotel, and explained in detail everything we needed on the island. In addition, the hotel is really stunning and the rooms are very comfortable. It is worth mentioning that the rooftop restaurant for breakfast not only has a beautiful view, but also has rich and delicious food.

The attitude of the waiters in the lobby bar is average. However, the performance of the performers was wonderful.

The hotel is magnificent. The service is superb and the restaurant (La Terrazza) was excellent. It was expensive but that was understandable given the level of service and the period we stayed (durning the Biennale, Film Festival and Regatta)

On leaving we were not offered the service of a porter to help us with the luggage to the water bus that we had to use as the hotel couldn't provide us a taxi boat. For such an historic building I found it most frustrating that The hotel could offer no literature to on the history of the palace

Everything was the best experience. It was my dream to stay at this hotel, and this was the moment my dream came true. The communication in advance was very polite, and there was a surprise when I checked in on the day (I will not reveal the details), and it was an experience that I truly felt glad to have stayed there. The interior of the hotel, which I had seen many times in photos, was more luxurious than I had imagined. I had stayed in a 4-star hotel the day before, but this room was so luxurious and beautiful that it was incomparable to my eyes and my heart. There were more than a few amenities (hair dryer, slippers, towels, bathrobe, shampoo, body soap, sewing kit) and no inconvenience. I was also surprised that the bathtub and shower room were separate. We also used the restaurant for dinner, and even though it was my first time at a restaurant and I was having trouble ordering, they kindly explained to me. I was surprised that they made the bed during dinner! Breakfast was also an elegant moment in a restaurant with a great view, and there was a wide variety of bread and other foods, and the food was so eye-catching that I wanted four stomachs. Everything from check-in to check-out was the best experience. Next time I will work hard to earn enough money to be able to stay for the entire stay instead of just one night‼‼

A beautiful internal decor to the building . Very convenient position for seeing the sights The buffet breakfast is very good served on the balcony on top of the hotel . There is a wonderful view to take in while you eat . Watch out for the marauding seagulls .

The bathroom was not what i would expect in a 5 star hotel . The shower was over the bath . It is very noisy at night up to midnight with a piano and singing from the bar on the ground floor . The menu for evening meals is very limited .

The whole experience was one of class and exceptional standards and service.

Our meals at the breathtaking Terrazza by Danieli were nothing short of spectacular, with views that postcards are made of and staff whose courtesy and attentiveness were unmatched. The gym, open round the clock and equipped with the latest from Technogym, became our routine to fight jet lag . I can’t remember everyone's names, but I must say the collective effort of the staff left a lasting impression on us. Their willingness to accommodate our myriad of special requests and the carefully crafted itinerary they provided ensured we made the most of every moment. The exclusive invitations to visit the rooftop and Fondaco dei Tedeschi added a layer of exclusivity to our stay, making us feel truly special. For anyone seeking an experience that captures the essence of Venice with unparalleled hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Danieli.

It’s an absolutely gorgeous grand old Italian property. Elegant, beautiful, a distinctive and impressive hotel. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The bathroom was large all marble. Room has all the niceties - complimentary water, mini bar, hood storage, free WiFi, English language channels on TV and an incredible view of the lagoon. Room 304. The staff at the Dandolo Bar and the Restaurant were attentive and charming. The food was always fantastic - but it can be really rich!!! Breakfast buffet with a view was lovely. It was a stunning hotel! Excellent location just off the craziness of Saint Mark’s Square.

In a room the size we had would have preferred a couch to two small chairs since there was sufficient space to accommodate it.

This hotel was one of, if not the best 5 star property Ive ever stayed in. The building, history and architecture simply cannot be reproduced anywhere else. Having seen this hotel feature in countless famous films over the years it had long been on my list to visit. I was not disappointed. It exceeded my expectations. The price (esp during the summer) is high but reflects its uniqueness and I was happy to pay. The dinning terrace on the top floor and the lobby area are, without hyperbole or cliche, simply breathtaking.
