Off the main walkway from the mail canal at San Zaccaria are of San Marco. It may be difficult to find on its own, but you need to check in at the Savoia and Jolanda Hotel which is easy to find on the main San Marco walkway at the waterway. The room was decent overlooking the church, like the picture of the hotel. The bathrooms were upgraded and modern.

I do not know why the Hotel San Zaccharia is listed as a separate hotel, but maybe it technically because you stay in that building if you book that hotel. There is actually no staff or serviced at the hotel itself. It is actually part of the Savoia and Jolanda Hotel and all staff and all services are located in that hotel, including the restaurant. We checked in at that hotel and were walked to the San Zaccaria Hotel. There were limited plugs in the room for cell phones and none by the bed.

We had stayed at this hotel before and returned because of its excellent location, cleanliness, service and comfort. What made this stay most extraordinary this time was the exceptional service we received from Jacobo. Not only did he have information on places to eat, locations of attractions and services, but he went above and beyond in finding information about our cruise location which was not easily recoverable. In fact, we believe his efforts in securing information on the new port facilities and its means of getting there may have, in fact, helped hundreds of other passengers on the same cruiser ship arrive there safely as well. While he was calling around to find information on the new (and changed) location of our cruise ship and the desired means of getting there, it was alerted to the cruise line that hundreds of passengers may have similar difficulties in locating the ship. An email was sent to all passengers later that day to all prospective passengers with information on the site and means of arriving there. We believe Jacobo's efforts alerted cruise line management to the potential problem. We are extremely grateful for his efforts because we know it cost him some time and effort. By the way, the information he provided allowed us to get there safely and in plenty of time for the cruise. Needless to say, the next time we are in Venezia we will be staying at the San Zaccariah. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family as well.

The property was near to any attraction that you need to see in Venice. The location is in the centre of Venice, near to Piazza San Marco, walking distance to Ponte Rialto and the vaporetto station is right in front of the Hotel. The employees are very helpful to any request and for us 2 adults and 1 child they even upgraded us to a bigger place. Small details that make the difference. If i will ever come back to Venice they will be my choice without a doubt.

I would have liked a bigger variety of food for the breakfast.

Venetian aesthetic spacious room with view of san zaccaria church. You had the feeling, you were experiencing a different era. Spacious bathroom with hot water during the whole day. Well-heated room. Elevator in the hotel. Clean facilities. Well-located, 5mins from san Marcos square, but still on a beautiful quiet quarter. Vaporetto stop 3mins from hotel. Friendly and respectful staff.

Soundproofing definitely needs a lot of improvement. Only one power outlet in the room and that not next to the bed (next to the door).

We loved Hotel Zaccaria, at the beautiful square, Campo San Zaccaria, it was always very quiet and peaceful when we came back to Hotel Zaccaria. San Zaccaria Church is either wonderful to visit. The hotel is very close to the citycenter, San Marco, Arsenale, ... and very close to the waterbus stop. The room is wonderful, typical Venice style, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The bathroom was good, good shower, ... The room and bathroom were very clean. The receptionist of Hotel Savoia and Jolanda during check-in was very professional and very friendly, either the staff of the breakfast. Fantastic breakfast on the terrace outside with view on the water. Fantastic hotel, we loved it!

There was no ventilation in the bathroom. The breakfast is fantastic, the staff was very friendly but we advice to go earlier to the breakfast (before 10am) because when you go later the staff is very stressed, already cleaning, and no bacon or eggs anymore, there was written breakfast until 10.30 am we thought?! It is better to write then breakfast until 10am. to be more peaceful. The Check-in possible from 2pm was a little late for us.

This hotel was amazing!!!! Every staff member that we came across were super friendly and absolutely lovely. There was a lovely man on the reception (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) but he is an absolute credit to the hotel. He helped us so much and answered all our questions quickly and efficiently. He was just a fountain of knowledge! The breakfast was good and they obviously knew my love of cake! The location was beautiful and easy to get to everywhere. We had a balcony and had the best view out of it. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to everyone!

We were a party of 3 and when we got the room it was just one large bed. We were only there 2 nights so wasn't a major issue and the bed was massive but some people might be uncomfortable with this. I just assumed it was going to be a big bed and a single but it is what it is and we managed.

the hotel is very close to the ferry station but it’s located in a quiet square - not too many tourists but yet really convenient

the window in our room was facing the back side of the other building, which means we don’t get much day light. also because it’s facing the back side of the other building, you can hear the AC on the other building running… which can be annoying

To check in you need to go to reception of Savoia and Jolanda - apparently both hotels owned by same owner. We booked a family room (2 children) and got a room with an interconnecting room - basically 2 rooms! The bathroom had a jacuzzi shower. The breakfast buffet at e7,50/person is well worth. Extremely friendly staff at restaurant and reception and Yevita at reception was extremely polite and helpful! Close to St Mark's Square and good central location.

Nothing, it was a very nice hotel. Just wished the price could be slightly less.

Our first room was very small. Air conditioning was not working. When we called front desk and reported we returned to our room to find a floor fan. I spent one night and the next morning went to front desk. They relocated to a bigger room with air . I was happy with that room.

Incredible location, friendly staff, massive family rooms, tasty breakfast!

No aircon in room (only heating) so I imagine it gets pretty hot in summer, no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms.
