Our family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a lovely location just steps from all the beautiful shops surrounding San Marco. The staff was lovely and super helpful when recommending restaurants and helping to book reservations. We really felt taken care of by everyone during our stay. Marco greeted us in the eveving and offered our daughter a delicious sandwich after a long day traveling. It's just what she needed! We woke to a lovely breakfast experience with nice background music playing inside. The garden looked nice, but it was too cold outside to sit there. A nice yogurt, fruit and granola and a healthy selection of pastries and bread, coffee and juice as well. Additional items available for an extra charge. Another woman at the front desk coordinated a trip to Murano for us on a private water taxi. It was the highlight of our trip! All in all, a lovely experience and would stay here again.

The boutique hotel property is nestled down an alley in the shopping district on Venice a short walk from St Marks square. We were able to take a private water taxi and be dropped a short walk away. We stayed in a family room and were able to sleep comfortably. Furnishings are beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious homemade breads, yogurt and granola, coffee and juice. For a slight up charge you could get pancakes and eggs too. The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of and had a wonderful stay. They helped us with directions and suggestions on restaurants too. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Wonderful calm spot minutes away from everything. We had a family room room with a queen, a double pull-out and a single bed for a family with a 7 and 10yo. Breakfast was wonderful and just the right thing to get the day started. Very accommodating for early bag-drop and overall the staff are absolutely amazing. We took the semi-private boat from the airport and the hotel is a very shot walk from the closest stop.

Totally tranquil & quiet in the heart of San Marco but so near to so much. It is a bit harder to get to in the arrival than some there, but they handled our departure by water taxi from start to finish. Staff is so relatable & committed to your enjoyment that you will feel like family.

The complexion Arriving in Venice whether by train or air is a real one. We had a private driver meet us at the airport luggage claim & drive us to our reserved water taxi - but it’s still racing.

It was our second stay in Hotel Flora and we had a nice experience again. The staff is kind and professional, the location is perfect. The bed is very comfortable and the room is cosy and authentic. We loved the breakfast and the inner garden of the hotel.

The bathroom of our room was some stairs lower and had a low height, which was tricky for us having a bathtub, as we are both tall with my husband. Some minor repairs should be considered too (the door of our wardrobe did not stay open and closed on the person packing, the door of the room had a wide gap at the bottom even after closing).

It was very well located and quiet. Breakfast every day was lovely and served by very pleasant staff members. Front desk staff members were very helpful with locations of shops and restaurant reservations. Charming little hotel bar that made tasty Spritz.

As mentioned in what we liked the hotel employees are very welcoming and accommodating to guests. We did have one encounter with one of the owners which was a bit testy on his part. Maybe he was having a bad day but he might learn a little from the folks who he employs about guest relations.

Hotel Flora is in the best location - a short walk from Piazza San Marco and all the vaporetto stops there, and an even shorter one to the vaporetto and Alilaguna stop at Giglio. So, on arrival from the airport, no dragging of suitcases down crowded alleys to far corners of the city. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful, and Mr Romanelli the owner is never far away and is full of useful information about his city. And a special 'bravissimo' for the cheerful barman. Breakfast is a delight - delicious orange juice, fruit, nuts, yoghurt, croissants and pastries, and good coffee, and the calm efficiency of the guys in charge has to be seen to be believed. Not even a local power cut could faze them - they just carried on! Our room was fine - quiet and clean - and the bed was very comfortable. It was our second stay at Hotel Flora, and we very much hope we shall return. We certainly do not intend to stay anywhere else in Venice.

The continental breakfast was tasty and the coffee delicious. Our room, which had a garden view, was large and quiet with a supremely comfortable bed and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There was neither internal nor external noise disturbance. The hotel’s location was perfect for our needs.

The en-suite bathroom was rather small, but given the age of the property there was little or nothing that can be done to improve that. We coped perfectly.

We stayed at the hotel during the Venice Carnival. Hotel Flora makes you feel truly in Venice, with its bucolic gardens, the breakfast atmosphere, the bar, the room, all decorated with details that characterize the charm of Venice. The service was excellent, from our check-in, late in the night, with our new friend from Rishikesh, to the reception staff, giving valuable tips about the city. All this on the coolest street of Venice, 5 min from Piazza San Marco. I do recommend.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel. The location is amazing, so close to all the main sights. The hotel team were brilliant. They made us all feel very welcome and were great wirh the children. The green courtyard is a special oasis in busy Venice where you can sit, relax and enjoy a drink. We very much hope we can return to Venice and stay at the lovely Flora hotel.
