Beautiful location on the Grand Canal, there is nothing better than having your breakfast and watching the world go by here. Stunning Venetian decor and overall friendly and attentive staff.

Concierge could have been friendlier...

Yes it was good we had a great time however I felt a bit disappointed towards the end they had completely messed up our hotel bill, we were over charged also for breakfast and was promised a promotion deal breakfast for the two mornings we were staying with them, after questioning this is was amended however I would double check your bill if staying with them! Maybe it is best to pay as you go for drinks and dinner because it just seemed very confusing and time consuming towards the end of our stay. However the hotel itself was lovely and the food and drink and rooms were amazing. Just be careful when paying your bill and double check charges.

The confusion with the amount charged towards the end was confusing and over charged us, also got another bill for somebody else’s room!

Restaurant servers sometime have too much of an attitude, beautiful room but poor sound insulation from the street due to sliding windows not closing hermetically, hot water is inconsistent - temperature fluctuates too much.

This must be one of the best hotels in Venice. Even though part of a large hotel chain, it still has the small family hotel atmosphere. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble with staff going beyond their call of duty. The position of the hotel must be the best in Venice, literally on the Grand Canal opposite a beautiful church Santa Maria della Salute and only minutes away from St Mark's Square. yet still peaceful away from the crowds.

Nothing , it is expensive, but Venice is expensive , there is no value in Venice … it’s about a very special place and you pay to see it . loved the property , it made the experience wonderful and you do get what you pay for … so there is value in that .

Nothing really, but not all staff were kind.

This is a beautiful hotel, very Venetian and traditional. We stayed in a suite and the room was exceptional, although it had no view it was a very large room and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The bar and the terrace is stunning and the perfect place for a pre or post dinner drink (we also had lunch there as we couldn't keep away!) the location is perfect, quiet but very close to Piazza San Marco, lots of shops etc. The concierge team gave us some great recommendations and were on hand to assist before and during the stay - nothing was too much trouble.

The location is perfect for seeing the major sights in Venice. It’s minutes from St. Mark’s and the Doge’s Palace. The hotel itself is a palace and the canal location gives it exceptional ambiance.

The price is quite high so staying there is probably only appropriate for special occasions.

The hotel is in a perfect location, has great facilities and excellent staff. It’s definitely not a budget option but then if you’re looking for that you wouldn’t be considering staying here.

Some of the rooms are louder than others it seems - the walls are well soundproofed but if you have a family with kids above you then expect to be woken up by a thud or two. Pretty frustrating when you’re paying a fair amount to stay here but to be fair to them to staff were super attentive.

This Hotel was the Perfect location for watching the Regatta. One of a few remaining Grand Hotels with Old World elegance, beauty, and gracious civility. We were trated very graciously by all the staff.
