We were happy with the room for the price and as we were out exploring Venice most of the time a bed and a fan was all we needed. Very warm welcome from the owner. Bathroom was clearly advertised as being separate to the bedroom but we had no issues with access and the small room contained a toilet, bath/shower, sink and bidet. The location is slightly out of the main tourist area but it is quiet and there is a shop only a couple of minutes away. We accidentally left an item in the room and owner rang and messaged straight away to let us know to go and pick it up which was very much appreciated.

The room was what we expected (although the photograph isn't reflective of the room) so there was nothing not to like but would have been even better with access to a fridge and TV in the room.

The location and the room were the best option I could have ever found at this price. I needed just a night to stay alone in Venice in order to catch an early flight. The most important detail for guests: if you put the adress on Google Maps, you don't arrive in the correct location. You will arrive at Peggy Guggenheim Gallery, which is about 200 m away, so I advice everyone to search the location with its name on Google Maps, Locazione Turistica Corte Vecchia. And read the numbers of the buildings in order to reach 462. I leave you a photo here. Pluses: - I stayed in the room with the name "Corte Vecchia" and it was a very warm, cozy and beautiful room. It also has a romantic atmosphere and a nice view. - the room is well-heated. - the water in the bathroom is hot. - the location is awesome - 900 m from Piazza San Marco (about 15 minutes walking), 300 m from Ponte dell'Accademia (about 5 minutes walking), surrounded by nice restaurants and a good supermarket (very useful thing in Italy, where you don't find so many). - the water bus station, Zattere, is 300 m away, about 5 minutes walking. From there, you can easily reach: the center, Piazzale Roma (where there is the bus station), or the airport with Linea Blu Laguna (direct ship to the airport). Minuses: - the bathroom was a bit cold, significantly colder than the room, but the hot water helps in this case. - the location is a bit hard to be found, because you have to always pay attention to the numbers of the buildings. Recommendations: I would definitely come back here and I recommend this location to everyone, because it is close to absolutely everything in Venice and it offers a silent, cozy corner in the middle of the busy, touristic city of Venice. If you want to have a meal close to this location, I also recommend Trattoria Ai Cugnai and other things close to Accademia.

You don't easily find this location and you have to pay attention to the numbers of the buildings all the time, but it is manageable.

Lovely room, very clean and really loved the location on a quiet street but not far from the buzz and academia bridge and lagoon with water taxi stations nearby. Check in was easy and we could leave our bags before hand and check in early as soon as the room was ready. Staff very friendly and good communication. Great value for money in Venice.

Nothing really, it was as expected. A kettle and some tea/coffee would have been nice in common area.

Location was good as planned from the maps Close to the ferry’s And all the sites we want to see.

I’m not sure if there was information in the directions but I think we should’ve been told that when you get into area or suburb it is best to be guided by looking for a number of building e.g. 862 and don’t concern yourself so much with the name of the street.

Great location close to water bus stations. Shops and pubs/restaurants in the area. Very comfortable bed and friendly staff:) Room and bathroom had everything i needed.

you could hear kids from school nearby but that is nothing that the owner can change:)

Staff was friendly, replying promptly to every message and request. Perfect as a value stay for solo business traveller. Excellent location in a quiet part of the sestier, but close to the centre.

it was hard to find but the name of the property by itself is the clue you need, it’s in street “Corte vecchia” and number 462 (like said in the description) yeah it took me a bit to find but I managed using google maps and the booking app. tbh not a big deal and the guys was replying super quickly all the time…

One of the few hostels in Florence with single beds and not bunk beds. Excellent location in the center of Florence. Comfortable beds, clean sheets. Excellent hosts that give you good recommendations of what to visit in Florence with a map. Easy check in and check out.

The location was the Best and in a quiet neirbhood. It was very clean

The bathroom was separated from the bedroom, didnt had any Windows so when you shower it was a little bit smelly, but its normal

Great location, clean and comfortable, very friendly host, definitely value for money. For us the check-in was via calling the mobile (WhatsApp also works).

All was fine for us. We only needed to sleep one night not far from the center and this accommodation perfectly suited the purpose.
