Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable bed. Very good continental breakfast and friendly staff.

I upgraded my double to a triple room solely to get an ensuite bathroom however on arrival was given a double with no bathroom. After complaining was transferred to another double with a good view over the canal but still no ensuite and was told the bathroom down the corridor was private to us as no one else would be using it ! Spotlessly cleaned throughout the day but we weren't geared up for padding down the corridor ! Still not sure why I couldn't have the room I booked ?

I just love the Truly Italian Breakfast. Jack is a wonderful host and offered me Turkey Chicken in breakfast (as I don't eat pork). Location is outstanding and you can explore Venice numerous places very easily from her. Staff are really very supportive and helped me to explore the attraction. I had my Life memorable experience and the stay is one of them at this beautiful hotel. Thanks Pensione Segusu and Booking.com. you guys are rockstars and really doing a good job in making our life long experience memorable 😊😊😊

It could be better if you provide Complementary drink Like soft drink, water etc

The historic preservation was lovely. It is nice to see a place with a sense of personality, place and one that has welcomed so many generations. We were recommended by a good friend and architect and then were later told that another architect friend of my in-laws also visited back in 1972. A wonderful experience. Plus the location was amazing- a vaporetto stop just a few feet away is invaluable and because it’s right off a canal we were able to pull up via private water taxi so easily!

The Pensione Seguso is real authentique experience. It is located in a beautiful and quite area. But still close to all of the main attractions. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They gave us great tips where to eat and even booked an excellent restaurant for us. Couldn't recommend the place more. If you want to stay somewhere authentique, this is the place to go. Our room looked out on the canal. Falling asleep with the sound of the water was dream like.

Nothing, it was exceptional!

The breakfast was good - cheese, proschutto, bread, butter, croissant, several types of juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, cereals, milk. Good location, also close to the water bus station. And also they change bed sheets every day, I was surprised about that. Very friendly staff!

The overhead light didn't work, but that was OK because there are two more lights. And I'm sure they will repair it if you ask (I stayed just couple of nights so I didn't). Everything else was good!

Lawrence, Giacomo, and the entire staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, truly exemplifying the essence of great customer service. The location is unbeatable, and the hotel itself is full of charm, especially if you appreciate a vintage flair. The breakfast was a lovely touch, but what really stood out was their willingness to store my luggage for a few days while I was trekking in the Dolomites. That was above and beyond, and incredibly helpful. I’m definitely planning to return to Venice, and I would absolutely stay at Pensione Seguso again. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Staff were very friendly and the building itself had so many interesting original features. Location was amazing and views were stunning. General vibe felt really venetian and I loved all the history in the building. Would much rather stay in a 'real' place like this than a soulless hotel. Would definitely go back again.

Shower could have been properly enclosed rather than just a curtain. Bed slightly hard. But only minor gripes compared to the positives.

The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They made the experience very enjoyable. The ambiance and historic nature of the hotel were wonderful. Location cannot be beat - in a quiet neighborhood, but just steps to cafes, restaurants, Vaporetto, and overlooking both a small and a large canal. I fell asleep each night to the sound of the water lapping against the side of the building. The breakfast was very good, and the public rooms beautiful.

The bathrooms could be renovated in a style that more appropriately matches the historic style of the hotel. They have some inexpensive tile and fixtures, probably from the 1990s. But they were clean and perfectly fine! The beds could have warmer and fluffier covers. But again, all was perfectly fine. The value is excellent.

The view from the room says everything. I was totally not expecting the stunning scenery when I chose to order a room with the canal view. The hotel is old but all necessary facilities are well equipped with all the Wi-Fi and air conditioning working well. The location is super convenient, just a 3 minute walk from the water bus station. The spot is hidden away from major tourist spot so a cozy and silent atmosphere is guaranteed. Went to a restaurant nearby (3 min walk again!) which serves great pasta (Trattoria ai Cugnai dal 1911). Definitely a great place to stay!

The breakfast is not particularly good but satisfies basic needs. Would be a great plus if the hotel could serve simple made to order dish instead of buffet service.

The location was great! Safe neighborhood that I felt comfortable walking around as a single female. Just steps away from the waterbus stop was incredibly nice. The complementary breakfast had tons of options and the coffee was amazing! Staff was helpful and friendly. Also I had a view of the canal from my room, I requested a water view and they did not disappoint you!

Bed was very firm. Bathrooms didn't have paper towels to dry hands.
