Location, And in general it was good. I think next time in Venedig I might book the same hotel provided that that the internet connection will be available already from the first day of the stay.

Unfortunately the internet was not working at least first 3,5 days (out of 5 days) and I was getting answers like a technician is working on it or that the stuff cannot do more as it is working for others. Finally one nice girl at the reception helped with fixing it. Unfortunately , I don't remember her name. But want to say thank you to her again. Breakfast could be bit divers - we had the same menu every day.

The hotel’s location is really the best thing about it, San Macro Square is literally a few steps away. There is lots of restaurants within 100m and there is a shop next door. Breakfast was tasty and the staff in the dining hall were friendly. The rooms were small and dated but were cleaned daily to a high standard.

The staff on reception were very unhelpful when it came to giving information about tours. The WiFi worked in some parts of the room but not in other parts. For transport from the airport get the water bus to San Macro (30€ for two)rather than the hotel water taxi(140€ for two).

The location was even better than I had imagined. Our room actually overlooked St Mark's Square, and was only 15 mins walk from Rialto Bridge, which was a lovely way to arrive. The staff were always very friendly, at the reception and at breakfast, where there was a lovely spread to choose from. Although I had booked a standard double, we were upgraded to a suite, maybe because it was quiet, in March ? But in any case, it was a lovely surprise and a great start to our mini holiday. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Venice. It was only a short walk from the main attractions. Thank you to everyone there ! :)

It did seem odd to have an appartment without a kettle, but then we only booked a standard room in the first place, so didn't complain.

The location is perfect!!! And very easy to find (just next to St Marks Square) Staff was very friendly and helpful The room was clean but dated… you have the feeling of the old Venetian style The bathroom also very clean but dated.

Bed and pillow were uncomfortable. If they change them the overall experience would be much better! Breakfast was nice except for the coffee.

Room was large with good facilities if a little dated. Location is excellent seconds from St Marks Square. Breakfast was good. Staff helpful and professional.

Be aware Venice is not a easy city to navigate and to get to the hotel you will have to carry cases up and down a set of stairs over a small bridge, this may be problematic for some and hotel did not inform us of this. Some rooms are in a anex building and the lift access is very small. Bathroom is large but old and hairdryer provided is very poor. Bed was very hard and pillows were not good.

Breakfast was good lots to choose from, being from Ireland we like scrambled eggs and bacon! and that was on the menu every morning. Maybe there could be boiled eggs in a basket too. The staff were very helpful and courteous. There was no noise from the street even though we were on the main pathway to St. Marks Square. I felt safe entering and leaving the pathway alone to the Hotel, there was a lovely busy atmosphere in the area. The bed was very comfortable and I got a great sleep every night. Good large bed and large bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean and the sheets were perfect.

Even though there was 1 extra pillow in the closet of the room, I would have preferred 2 extra pillows. Most people in Ireland generally would sleep with 2 pillows each. The bed was very comfortable and I got a great sleep every night. The room was smaller than we'd be used to in Ireland, but extremely well laid out and fitted in the Venetian style which is fab. I knew the rooms in Venice would be small and found our room well spaced large bed area to move around and a good large bathroom etc.

The rooms were not sound proof at all. We could hear every conversation that passed by the hotel on the street, could hear the upstairs neighbors. (However activity outside ceased around 10 pm, so it didn’t keep us up.) The mattress was, without exaggeration, the firmest mattress I’ve ever encountered (rock hard). Surprise “city tax” not included in the Booking.com fee.

We were situated right next to the main square and it was perfect for water taxis .. I would definitely go back again the room was a lovely size with a living room and small kitchenette.. to entertain.. view was right over one of the canals. Would definitely stay again .

Mosquitoes are a nightmare as was bitten all over so next time insect repellent especially when it rains

The Location, the interior Design, the bathroom, it was quiet, and it was very clean. If you use public transfer it ist easy to find (San Marco via Vaporetto)

This is not a critique but reminder for other guests that you have to pay a city rax for every night and person during your stay in Venice.
