The owner/manager was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Even when he was briefly stuck in the lift he still wished us a pleasant evening 😂. It seems the whole place will shortly be having a total refurbishment complete with new lift! The room and building was fine - clean, spacious enough and in a brilliant location. I think the refurbishment will be touching up minor scraggy details. To be honest, we weren’t there much as we were out enjoying the fantastic city as much as we could. The biscuits in the room each day was a nice touch. Being able to leave our luggage there on the last day was great.

I would have liked a really good tea selection but that’s a personal thing. The hair dryer was a bit pathetic and came apart, hopefully this will be updated in the refurb.

It was in a great location, easy to find because of its proximity to San Marco square. They were kind enough to not only wait up for our very late check in but also called us to make sure we’d were able to find our way. The room was decorated tastefully with room to spread out our suitcases in the small room next to the bedroom. Cafes, shops and places to explore were all very close by, what a wonderful part of the world to relax in

When entering the property you had to carry your bags up a flight of stairs before being able to access the lift. Not a problem for us but accessibility for some might be tricky

Asela, who was the property manager, went above and beyond to help us with anything that we needed… He booked a private water taxi to and from the hotel for us and it was wonderful! We were immediately off of St. Mark’s Square and extremely close to the grand Canal… It was a lovely location and exactly what we needed…

Ohmygosh… the air conditioner… While it was running and was keeping the room and sweet cool, it was just not cool enough for us… The heat outside was absolutely almost unbearable …it would have been nice to have come back to the hotel and be chilled with that blast of cold air… But, it was cool air, and once we stayed in and cooled off, we were fine… ♥️. Everything was exceptional on the other hand!

We had a wonderful time. Lovely clean rooms with comfortable beds. Communication was great and very helpful with ideas of travel from airport to best suit our needs and check-in was a breeze. Could not think of staying anywhere else in Venice. We were steps away from St Mark’s Square and close to the best shops and restaurants. Just bellow is a bar which was amazing and had the best cichetti around so not having breakfast did. It bother us at all.

The incredible little bar around the corner offered the best breakfasts and drinks late at night so a perfect spot to feel part of Venice, but still to be able to escape from the frenzy. The room was quiet and perfect despite being so central. The host was exceptional and I was blown away by the hospitality. The housekeeping was even worth a mention - such pride taken in everything they do. I loved the coffee machine and little biscuits. The personal touches. Well done!

There is nothing I can think of. Honestly, fantastic value for money.

The location was fantastic - just a 20-meter walk and you're in San Marco Square! The check-in process was seamless, and the staff was very accommodating. We were impressed with the rooms. In fact, I was initially biased in a negative way when I saw the pictures of the room. The wall decorations seemed old-fashioned, and I've had less-than-ideal experiences in similar hotels before. They tended to be on the older side and not well-maintained, with walls covered in wallpaper that was starting to peel. However, here the walls were adorned with real fabric and everything was impeccably clean. The room was comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Until midnight, there may be some noise due to the hotel's central location in San Marco. Additionally, you might hear conversations from the rooms above, as the sound insulation is not very effective. Please note that there is no elevator leading directly to the reception area; it can only be used from the floor where the reception desk is located. Upon arrival, you'll need to bring your luggage up to the reception area yourself. However, the staff is also available to assist you with this.

Asela is fantastic! He is very attentive and was very helpful when we arrived. He actually came to get us as the GPS took us to a different location. The rooms are a very good size and the bathroom is very good - attention to detail with all the accessories, esp the tea cups and biscuits in the suite! Excellent location to see all the sites. Cafe Vero at the building is amazing for the ciccentis, breakfast spritz and coffees at an incredible price!

Location was super close to piazza San Marco & really easy to find. The room was spacious and immaculately clean with a nice new bathroom that was generously proportioned. Asela - the manager - was very courteous and always available via WhatsApp when not in attendance at the property.

While the location is incredibly central, the downside is the noise from passing foot traffic and the fact that it is adjacent to a noisy bar at footpath level

The location is excellent, the staff was everything you could ask for, but the room configuration was a little bit odd, he room included a rooftop terrace with some pretty nice views. The location is great for St Mark's and also the adjacent street is loaded with fine restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It would be worth another look when we return as they are renovating the entire building starting in November.

Our room was at the very top and while there were only one flight of stairs, they were very steep. The staff moved our bag in so it was not a problem.

I liked everything! The detail that was put into the place is fantastic! And the roof top terrace is amazing a beautiful view of the San Marco. Super relaxing even for being right next to the square almost no noise. I think it’s one of the best places I have ever stayed in my life! 👍👍👍 the service is super and the really nice people! I would rate it at 10000% loved every minute and a should do if you ever go to Venice! A round of applause!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
