We absolutely loved our stay here! Our breakfast was INCREDIBLE, very generous portions! Our views were the most beautiful, especially at night during Christmas. We would go back in a heartbeat.

the owner has several apartments in one building. They differ greatly in volume and living space. The ad contains photographs of the best ones with a terrace and high ceilings. However, in reality you can get any other apartment. for example, ours had low ceilings and no terrace or balconies. In addition, the furniture and beds are very uncomfortable.

Forget about luxury Venetian hotels - and we have tried several of them over the years we have been going to Venice - Danieli, Luna Baglioni, Ca'sagredo, Ai Reali, to name a few. If you don't need slippers and a bonbon on your pillow by your bed every night or a luxurious restaurant and bar right in the hotel, then try staying at Canaletto Luxury Suites - San Marco Luxury. In the case of the apartment with a terrace, which we rented, you will get a 70 m2 luxuriously furnished apartment with a large terrace with a unique view of most of the monuments on San Marco Square. And for a significantly lower price than you would get for a similar apartment in a luxury 5-star hotel. Every morning you will be greeted by an opulent breakfast, served directly to your suite. Mornings with breakfast on the terrace overlooking San Marco are simply magical and highly addictive. The charm of this accommodation is further enhanced by the uniqueness of the building in which Canaletto Luxury Suites - San Marco Luxury is located - the 15th-century Clock Tower, Torre di Orologio. The house where the great Venetian painter Canaletto once lived.

Due to the location on San Marco, a taxi cannot reach the apartment, you have to drag your luggage across the entire square, but it is a small inconvenience that this accommodation will amply compensate for.

It was exceptionally sensational! A true honeymoon hotel ! Perfect in every way ! Great breakfast, bed was comfortable and all amenities were available and its center of all touristic sites, restaurants, shops and on the San Marco piazza! You couldn’t get a better location and the place was clean , a real suite with everything you can imagine!

The place took us 3 hours to find the place and walking around the whole city to find the place ! They MUST PUT A SIGN OR PROPER DIRECTIONS BECAUSE ITS IMMPOSIBLE TO FIND ! That’s a MUST ! Terrible to find but once you find it in a small corner street it’s amazing and easy to find

Absolutely amazing, balcony overlooked San Marco square , we had an apartment which was great. Chill time was people watching and listening to fabulous music all from our balcony . Breakfast served in our room every morning. Only order one potion of everything as enough for two

This room was very nice big a spacious, the bathrooms was a bid odd since the master suite only had a tub and the second bathroom was far from the second bedroom. The bathrooms were extremely clean and luxurious. The suite had a sauna, and the breakfast was delivered to the suite every morning. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff was very helpful. The location is superb.

The entrance to the hotel is secluded and not impressive and it is very noisy. The hotel did offer earplugs, The decor is very outdated and the pillows were very flat. The location of the bathrooms and the fact that the master bathroom only had a bathtub. They could do better with the beds and decor.

The apartment was fantastic. Plenty of space for us to spread out. The staff were all very polite and helpful, they answered all our needs. The breakfast was terrific and we were given much more than we expected. Location could not be better for visiting all the attractions around Piazza San Marco. It was such a bonus to be able to pop out and visit the Basilica, Doge's Palace or the Campanile and then pop back to our apartment to cool down from the heat! I loved this place, great location,spacious and beautifully renewed, great lighting system you can control the room lights when you're in bed and closet lights turn on and off with sensors , automatic AC system turns of when a window is open, even the doors lock automatically, very comfortable with everything you might need, lovely closets with lots of hangers, extra towels, pillows, blankets, toiletries extra everything, kitchen corner with a small stove, sink and a fridge, a kettle ,coffee machine and pods, tea...etc, also sound isolation is good, nice breakfast and the lady who kindly delivers the breakfast is welcoming and friendly, the building has an elevator, the lobby is right across the entrance of the building . If you’re arriving with a water taxi make sure to go down in San Marco square, just cross the square with the basilica on your right side to the building with the historic watch this is the building on top of Bar Americano turn in between the bar and Giobagnara store the reception is on you’re right side the suites on the left ( I learned that the hard way ) or just be ready with the property number and call for directions when you reach San Marco square.

reception staff can have a better attitude one is lazy the other is un knowledgeable, but not a reason to hesitate choosing this property, the location can be tricky if you’re following google maps we were lost for 45 mn , tried to call the property but couldn’t because the number listed on booking is missing one number , finally found the right number and called to ask for directions, booking or the property need to give more details on how to reach the place for first timers .

Great location and view. Rooms very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially at end of stay as we had language difficulty understanding our taxi pickup location, and the staff sorted it out for us.

A bit noisy at night - which was to be expected given its location on the central square. No iron and ironing board was provided, nor available (they said for safety). To remedy, the staff walked me down the road with my laundry to a sister hotel. However, I was then stood in a small corridor in front of all the passing hotel guests to do my ironing, with no privacy. I was very embarrassed - it felt like a punishment!

My fifth time in Venice. Stayed in the Gritti Suite with the lovely view of St Mark´s square. We were a family party two adults and two teenagers and our room had a large bed and our children had single beds. Room facilities very good. Breakfast was served every day in the room with more than you can eat. Housekeeping was immaculate (thank you Mary). Wi-fi was good. Jan and Lucas at the front desk were awesome. Good eating options nearby (1000 Gourmet, La Piazza) as well as local supermarkets. Took the water-taxi from the Airport which is a great option as it only takes 30min. We were lucky with the weather (no rain). Only had a bit of acqua alta for a small section of St Mark´s square for one day in the morning. Tip: check the tides ahead of your stay (info available online) to make sure you are not arriving when there is a high tide as you might have to drag your luggage across wooden platforms.
