the malia was really lovely. lobby is clean and fresh and lovely. Rooms were great, clean and had 2 double sized beds. good aircon. not a terrible view was onto some other roof tops but did have a glimpse of the sea from floor 11. and we could see the fireworks on Friday nights! has a safe and a wardrobe with a big mirror. fantastic location a few blocks back from the strip but still in amongst the hustle and bustle. fresh water cooler in lobby and beach towel service.

to be honest we can’t complain much but if we did have to point out some negatives, the rooms were quite small. bathroom very small but it did the job! the hotel had no bowls so we ate our breakfast out of cups each day. the aircon was quite noisy and the walls very thin we could hear lots of other guests in their room. however these were all minors!!

The staff was really friendly and the reception area was nice and clean. The rooms were cleaned every day. They have seen better days (some wall and carpet stains) but if you do not go there just to stay in your room you will be fine. The room has a TV which you can connect to youtube (we did not watch), free wi-fi, coffee machine (with fresh Hawaiian coffee brought every day) and a safe. Small fridge and I also think there was an ironing board in the closet. The bathroom is older but clean, gets fresh towels every day (if you need) and has good water pressure. Hot water is there whenever you need a long hot shower. We lost one key and I got really stressed about it but the reception did replace both of them for us quickly and without a hassle. You get a free entry to the Honolulu Museum of Art with a room key (btw). There is also one free breakfast at the restaurant next door included in the price of the room. You also get some fresh cold water you can fill your hydroflask with in the pool area. There is also someone at the excursions desk all the time if you wanted to buy some trips. If you fly out in the evening, you can leave your bags at the reception and collect them right before your flight. There is a place where you can buy a sim card very near the hotel and also a bus stop right by the hotel. A bit of longer walk to the beach but still allright.

I wanted to book this hotel primarily because they offered rooms with a stove. Unfortunately the one I was offered was not looking good (quite old fashioned + stove itself was old and the room was overlooking an inside patio/pool area) and the staff was nice enough to let me switch my room for a standard one (without a stove). The pool area is very small but who needs a pool is you are just right by Waikiki. After the room was cleaned there was always a bad smell of hooverning in the room - invest in some air refresheners :)

Very friendly staff; clean, comfortable room. Great location: easy walk to the beach. Plenty of nearby restaurants and coffee shops. Excellent value.

Check in was smooth and I like how you only charge $10 an hour for late check out! Parking attendant was awesome and I like how the bar was next door.

The bed was exceptionally.comfortable, the room was roomier than required for the two of us and the reception staff were breezy and helpful, exactly as required.

Two things-one out.of the hotels hands, the other a possible improvement opportunity. The latter refers to the air-conditioning which was definitely good, but lurched when it started, causing some sleep "bumps". And the former simply being the ludicrous cost of anything in Hawaii, meaning the standard of room -which was totally fine, and no complaints!-is not comparable.cost wise for equivalent standard internationally.

the location was great not too far from the beach. my daughter made me walk I wanted to Uber. not too bad of a walk but I did Uber back. right by malls and shopping. very spacious room, we had a junior suite, 2 twin day beds in the front room a little kitchenette type area, sink, microwave and mini fridge. half tub bathroom and 2nd room with queen bed.

very outdated and old decor. pool was so small not worth mentioning and breakfast is a waste don’t opt for the breakfast package it’s not worth it. package includes certificate to ihop which is right next store. you get 2 eggs, 2 pancakes/toast, 2 bacon/sausage, tea or coffee. cheese is extra, blueberries extra, everything thing is extra. better off buying ur own breakfast. lots of reasonably priced options.

it’s close to everything, from public transport, shopping centres, and eateries. highly recommend.

The hotel was very clean both in and out. the staff was very friendly, the pool was also nice and clean. We liked the fact that they provide beach towels when you use the pool or jacuzzi. it's also in a very good area, you got Ihop right next you half a block over you got Mcdonald's, you have an ABC store right on the corner. and your only 1500 feet from the beach which is also awesome!!

the parking !!!! horrible and sketchy! it's one way up and down all in the same ramp! the pool hours could be alot better, they do close it down at 9pm. I mean when your on vacation sometimes you just want to sit in the jacuzzi for a little bit and relax.

Great location for sure and very friendly staff. We like the proximity to food places, shopping areas, the beach and bus stops. Staff was super friendly and always ready to accommodate our needs.

The place itself was nice, and it look updated, but few things could be improved. There are only 2 microwaves for the building, hard to warm up food, etc. Microwaves were dirty every time we wanted to use them. I would have rather have my own microwave. On our last night there was a group of young people (They might be just graduated from HS or early college) All kind of sounds coming from next door...day and lots of noises at night big party going on. They were at least 10 kids in the room. I wish there some kind of guard... someone walking around checking at odd hours.

Great place in the middle of Waikiki. First: the greeting with some nice touches like food basket. Location is very good, short walk to Waikiki beach and all the major shopping and food places. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was actually two bedrooms separated by the kitchen and bathroom, plus nice balcony. We chose to prepare our own breakfast. While the parking has its quirks it is actually very convenient to have a car just few steps from your room.

Noise from the street. Parking entrance ramp is so tight that it may be challenging for bigger cars and unexperienced drivers, also parking costs 35 USD / day.
