It was clean,beds were comfortable and had a nice warm breakfast,

We were a family of 4,and had towels for 3people,there's no ventilation in the bathroom but it's not a big deal,we booked the hotel because of the pool and pool wasn't available,check in took longer than usual,and when it was time finally time to enter the room the card was not working so we had to wait even longer after a long day of traveling,because the staff which wasn't very pleasant ,had to check 1st that we were not lying and then switched us to another room and was standing in front of our door to get new signatures,while I was trying to accommodate my kids.I believe that she should give us some privacy and wait out . Other than these the hotel is updated and nice

The rooms were well furnished, the bed was extremely comfortable, staff was very friendly, and the pool was really nice. AC worked like a charm. Just minutes away from the airport, the fair grounds, Kentucky kingdom, and downtown Louisville. If you're looking for a place to rest your head during your travels or when you're out exploring Louisville, this is a great place to stay.

The bathroom was a little small and the area immediately around the hotel isn't the safest. Definitely no deal breakers, just be sure to excercise caution if you go walking around after dark.

The cleanliness of the entire property. You could smell how fresh it was upon entering the front door. Hand sanitizer at the entrance of the elevator...wonderful! A sitting area in the hallway at the entrance of the elevator...very thoughtful! Rooms very clean and bright. Air conditioner works very well. Bed very comfortable! Bathroom clean. Toilet with powerful flush. The dining room was exceptional! The breakfast choices were superb. Nice HOT food! Will definitely stay again!!

Refrigerator could use a little freezer. Just a thought...

I road tripped Tennessee and Kentucky this vacation round and out of all of the establishments we stayed at this was by far the cleanest with the most services provided at the lowest cost paid the entire trip. When we got in, I was pleasantly surprised by the layout, condition of amenities, and the response of the hotel staff and management. Everything looked and felt new + both breakfast and pool were open to guests. As an example of good response time, we stayed in Lousiville for two days and on the second day here it seems that our card keys were deactivated but when I called Customer Service, they sent someone over within 3-4 minutes to replace both cards. It's nice to reach a live person immediately when we weren't sure if it was the door or the cards that were causing an issue.

Location (neighborhood). Best Western can't really control the condition of the surrounding neighborhood areas but driving in the bulk of it looks run down and super shady. It's not the type of area you'd want to walk at night. Another reviewer said that parking lot cameras would be appreciated (with signs posted that area was being monitored) and I agree as I definitely went to bed at night hoping that I'd still see my rental parked in the front when I got up. All of the guest cars were huddled together on the same side of the very large parking lot prob. for the same reason (power in numbers!).

It’s very nice and clean. I loved that it had a pool, gym and bar area, with breakfast included for a good price. It’s very peaceful and quiet. No kids running down the halls, loud music etc

My first room had a leaky shower head, it had gotten the whole bathroom wet. The desk attendant was very pleasant and got my room switched immediately!! 😄 The pool was ehhh. Breakfast was so bland.

location.....it was apparent that there was staffing issues. That said, even though some staff was new, they happily trudged on with learning and trying to help with customers. When employees are trying to do their best in the worst of employment circumstances a business should be grateful and rewarding ;) The location was good for what we were doing. We had family that stayed at Crowne Plaza for a LOT more money. They visited us and said our room and motel was MUCH nicer than what they had for a much better $$ value...that speaks volumes!

when events like the NASP come to Louisville, all motels should be prepared for LOTS of kids. Limitation of number of swimmers in such a large pool seemed a little unreasonable. Breakfast was ok but things like extra waffle makers, etc should be a norm--once again knowing the number of people coming into the area.

Very good location, love that the fitness room was available 24 hrs, and very happy with the breakfast hours. Overall the staff was pretty friendly as well.

I'm used to hotels having a security deposit but this hotel was not clear about their $150 required deposit until you get there which, I feel, is pretty steep.

I'm not sure if this property is quite new or just very well maintained but it was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and kept fresh and well stocked. The dining area was kept very clean between guests coming and going. A+

There was a slight odor in the foyer when I first entered. I'm not sure if it was incidental or of there is a small sewage leak somewhere in the facility.

The room was quiet and just what I needed since I changed reservations from my other hotel from not getting any sleep because of loud banging. The staff was very helpful, as I had issues with some of the charges.

My daughter did not like the pool, she said it was small, the lighting was off, and there was no hot tub.

Very clean facility -- I was impressed! The staff greeted us at the door. The check-in process was quick, even though we had made the reservation on Booking.com.

I didn't like having to post a $150 deposit for room damages. Not everyone damages hotel properties. The amount just seem extreme for a one-night stay.
