The hotel was great. The staff was nice, breakfast had the normal, eggs, yogurt, sausage. The staff was very kind and helpful. I would stay again. It was clean and the staff was nice and the house keeping came every day and that isn't always a thing anymore. I was very happy to see that they could offer housekeeping everyday, even on the weekend and they were very nice if you ran into them in the hall.

The staff was very kind and helpful but rude inconsiderate Hockey parents that let their kids run up and down the hall screaming all night and not quieting down when the staff and other guests asked them to. Then they partied in not only the lobby but the swim area and monopolized the rec areas so other guests couldn't use them. The staff tried to be accommodating and couldn't move us as they were on all levels. In the end I would stay again but ask to be placed in a quieter area so you can actually sleep.

We stayed at The Hampton Inn while visiting our son that attends college in Duluth. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was friendly and the hotel was inviting. The breakfast was an average hotel breakfast, nothing special but good. Plenty of seating. There is so much to see and do in Duluth but still had time to visit the pool and hot tub, which was clean and relaxing. There are many restaurants close by along with shopping.

I did not care for the full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash attached to the shower wall. We ended up going to Target to purchase our own. Not a huge deal though.

A system for getting things like fresh towels, garbage collection, etc when staying for multiple nights would’ve been helpful - like a checklist to leave hanging outside the door or a text system. This has worked extremely well at other hotels we’ve stayed at.

Hotel was clean, room was large. if you like a firm bed you will like it, if you like a soft bed you will be uncomfortable. There is a good Texas Roadhouse restaurant next door.

There was a bar of soap in the room, no shampoo or conditioner, had to go to front desk and for them. It was a spacious room but the price was higher.

In general the hotels in Duluth are expensive. This one included. There's nothing negative about the room or staff. We've traveled a great deal this past year. Of all the hotels we've stayed at, this one was no better but was considerably more costly. Given that this is what you will pay in Duluth, definitely consider staying here.

The room was beautiful, clean and well-stocked. The indoor pool and hot tub were great. The hot breakfast was substantial and delicious and the people who work in the kitchen were incredibly nice. There was a choice of light or dark roast coffee - with the option for real half and half, not just non-dairy creamer.

I felt they were understaffed. When my room didn't get cleaned the day I asked, I had to ask the poor girl at the front desk to bring up extra towels, etc. She was the only one on staff. I feel like the problems are at the corporate level and the employees have to take the brunt of the guest's irritation.

The company doing your booking (Everbrite?) I was first at the wrong Hampton Inn (North Duluth) , and I had trouble cancelling that stay and going to Hampton, Canal Street. I found Everbrite not agreeing to my cancellation, and accomplished this task only by phone with the Hamton Canal Street Staff.

We had five in a room, the suite was laid out great and spacious. The fold out couch mattress was not the best but the couch itself was very comfortable.

There was not much we did not like about it. Location was not near the lake but not far and shopping still near in case we did forget something. Staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean.

The room size was good for a family.

Our room was not ready at the time of check-in. We had to wait about 15 minutes. The room was expensive, and then was charged $50 in case of incidentals. We were not impressed. Due to the cost, I don't think we should stay there again.

Staff was great. Facilities were nice. Back patio was great. Pool was great and clean. Hot tub was very clean. The maintenance crew at this place were busy and they did a mighty fine job.

The fire pit out on the patio was not in working order. Our tv in our double queen suite was set up in a really inconvenient location.
