I had the pleasure of staying at The Hyatt Regency in June ‘24. This is an absolutely superb resort. The grounds, (which are enormous,)including the gardens & pool areas were not only impressive, they were kept immaculate. A true tropical paradise. The restaurants were incredible. The food, (especially the desserts,) were a work of art. Omang Omang has an absolutely wonderful breakfast buffet. I loved the small touches such as table service of tea and coffee. Sometimes I dined alone; thoughtful touches such as the “table occupied” sign, made me really comfortable. The Pizzaria was the best. Such a beautiful dining experience. The staff at The Hyatt Regency are absolutely beautiful. From beginning to end, we were greeted & treated with genuine enthusiasm, respect & friendliness. Everyone from the gorgeous people at Reception & housekeeping, to the guys at the pool/towel area, were always amazing. Shout out to the ducks - you guys are the cutest!

We stayed in a Premium Twin Room. I was looking forward to having some outdoor private space to enjoy. Despite being visually lovely, the patio area was completely unusable . Debris, (including animal droppings) from the foliage hanging from the balconies above, constantly covered everything. We also would’ve appreciated a drying rack for our swimwear; I found it odd that nothing like this was available in a resort of this class. The property is huge... Massive…If walking is difficult, getting around the resort (and/or out to the Main Street,) may be a challenge.

The staff is amazing, particularly in the Regency Club Lounge and in the Spa area. The hotel has various pools. There is a quiet pool where only adults are allowed. The Club access well worth it, as good to have access to fresh juices/coffee/tea and some small snacks throughout the day. Also the selection of alcoholic beverages between 5-7 pm is good and the food could be sufficient for light eaters. The food is exceptionally good in all restaurants. While there is seaweed on the beach you can still enjoy the sea, as in some places the seaweed is cleared.

Some furnitures and room doors look worn out. However this has no effect whatsoever on our stay as we spent very little time in the room.

Everything was great. The staff were really polite, accommodating and par excellence. The location and the hotel itself was great with the gardens and the decor. Really a great vacation

The travel desk needs to make sure they are very specific in where they take us. Sometimes they are too vague. Our trip to Nusa Penidas was short, expensive, and not to the places we really wanted to go. Transparency is key

A wonderful stay in a King Regency suite. When we checked in, we we're given a King Regency suite but it was next to a noisy air conditioning duct into the main restaurant, so we asked to move. The manager was very understanding and proactive and moved us to a better suite the next day. The new suite was very spacious, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. We had a beautiful view from 2 decks over the lush gardens. It is well worth the extra money to get the Regency club benefits. The staff all throughout the hotel are all so friendly, and even the gardeners and maintenance workers greeted us warmly every day. They are particularly friendly in the Regency club, where we had complimentary breakfast and generous evening canapés/cocktails every day; they weren't shy about bringing us more drinks throughout the evening. We only tried the pizzeria restaurant once, and that was a good standard. The restaurants in the Andaz hotel (part of Hyatt hotel chain), with a complimentary buggy service, were very good, particularly the seafood restaurant at lunchtime. Again, excellent service and good food. All in all a great stay.

We were very disappointed by the pool/beach hotel seating situation. People would reserve seats early in the morning, and then not use them for several hours whilst they were at breakfast. It's very selfish, so many days we were left scrabbling to find a bed. This was not policed enough by the staff, even after saying something.

There are some many positives about this place! The staff are exceptional, so helpful, attentive, and genuine, and are experts at making you feel special. The food and drink in the hotel restaurants were amazing, I was surprised to find wood fired pizza in Sanur right here and they were so tasty! The traditional Indo food was delicious too and such a generous spread at the buffet each day. We really enjoyed the facilities particularly the gym which was well kitted, as well as the cold plunge pool and two saunas, and availability of protein shakes afterwards was so appreciated. We stayed in the basic room but it was clean, had what we needed, the bed was nice and firm (not like a lot of hotels where the beds just swallow you) and surprisingly the aircon was properly quiet at night, which meant we could actually sleep through. Also, the grounds are absolutely beautiful, so big, surrounded by tropical plants and ponds. Will becoming back. Highly recommend this hotel!!

The only thing I can think of is putting more places to hang things in the room. I'm only nitpicking though as everything else was great.

Great location, one of the best buffet breakfasts I have ever seen. The pools and and gardens of the hotel were absolutely gorgeous. The room was in complete darkness at night which is excellent for me. We loved the Pizzeria restaurant. Gorgeous food and ambiance. We were upgraded to the next level, even though we had a good deal price wise. It was also my husbands birthday and they decorated the bed and left the most delicious pandan coconut cake without asking. Thank you Hyatt

I’m glad we were in the closest building to the facilities otherwise it would be a bit of a hike to the restaurant and pool.

- the location is lovely - the staff were all very friendly and accommodating - comfy bed - room service was quick - Pizza is AMAZING

- overcrowded by the pool - very late check ins, 3pm was 5pm - Level 4 rooms are noisy! the exhaust fans on rooftop are obnoxiously loud. I had to complain and then got a ground floor room, which was quiet and peaceful and completely an over fix. Very kind of them to take my complaint seriously. It might not bother everyone though? - check out time is 12pm. they phone your room at 11.30 to hurry you up. seems a bit much esp considering they don’t check you in when you arrive at 3pm..

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s an old hotel but renovated well and as a result the gardens are mature and very beautiful. Rooms nicely done, great location on the beach, nice pools and a wonderful and hardly visited gym and spa with sauna etc. Staff were helpful and friendly. Other reviews mentioned bad pool service but they have rectified it with a flag system. We would definitely come back here.

Only one thing - management need to rectify the check in/out process. It is incredibly slow and there is no queuing system. Probably one of the worst I’ve experienced anywhere and does not make a great first impression. 4 desks is also not enough.

I have not enjoyed Bali in the past but this trip may have changed my tune! Fantastic location in the heart of Sanur. Located right on the beach with beautifully maintained grounds. Huge pool area with lots of sun and shade.

Rooms a little on the smaller size for Bali. Lots of sun lounges by the pool but also just as many hogs who claim the best beds for themselves at 8am and often don’t return for two or three hours at a time. There are rules about this advertised around the pool but this certainly isn’t policed by pool attendants.

Rooms were lovely. Gardens are beautiful. The concierge and check in staff were very helpful.

That the pool closes at 7pm. Not sure why since they are not located near the rooms. Food service by the pool is terrible. They forgot my order 2 days in a row. First time didn't bother chasing.. 2nd time took 2 hours after I had asked 3 different people. Ordered at 2.20pm. It arrived by 4.20pm. Same day my brother also only had half his order bought out after waiting 30mins. Then had to wait another 30mins for rest to be bought out. Not a huge big deal but expected better service than this. Room clean wasn't done until 4pm one day, 3.30pm the next. Again not major, but generally by 4pm I was ready to be back in my room for a shower and freshen up and had to wait.
