Great location for our Holland America cruise. With the cruise port across the street, what could be better. This hotel is excellent for it's location, lots of interesting restaurants within a few minutes walk. Safe area, The staff were helpful when we needed assistance, always a smile.

For some reason hotels never have enough light in there rooms. Not one patron would have the low light levels in their in own home. Ah coffee,! I am hard to please, my wife and I own a gourmet coffee company and custom roast over 70,000 K of coffee each year. Room coffee was up market from most hotel room coffee being a major European brand. Coffee at reception, and the breakfast buffet were very good.

The hotel is so well located, a block from train station and very safe. Also a block from Erasmus bridge which is a great thing to see in mornings or nights. I went out a couple of days for running very early in the morning (5:30am and 6am) and I felt safe. The staff told me that it was safe for early running and they were right! Very kind, btw! Housekeeping was perfect and great wardrobe to put clothes there. There is a big place in the near first floor with many stalls with food from different parts of the world. Not expensive and with great environment. DJs on Fridays. I loved it!

Nothing to complain, if I'd come back to Rotterdam, definitely I'd come back to Bruno Hotel :) The bad thing: most of shopping centers and all that stuff closes at 5pm, so early! But the hotel was always cool :)

We've been to Rotterdam many times, but this was the first time we stayed at Room Mate Bruno hotel. This was the first time we travelled with our baby, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel staff reserved a cot, which was surprisingly free of charge! Once we arrived, there were balloons on the bed, and very sweet messages for our little one - such a nice surprise! The hotel is very modern, super clean, and perfectly located! Parking is another great thing about this hotel! You can use the Vicky app to pre-pay a parking spot for the duration of your trip. Very easy, hassle-free, and you take the elevator/stairs to the reception.

The room was comfortable and a good size. There was a good dining food hall on the ground floor with a choice of food options. The sauna was very good. The location was good. The staff were generally helpful.

The room had quite a lot of marks on the paintwork and some wear on the wardrobe, these were minor and did not significantly detract from the overall comfort but small things which could be improved easily. A kettle was not supplied as standard nor was an iron and ironing board but when I requested these they were provided. I would have liked some complimentary tea bags provided in the room as not everyone likes coffee. Complimentary water in the room would be nice but the lobby area did provide a complimentary water reservoir.

Extra comfy bed and pillows, big room, Nespresso coffee machine in the room, great location close to the Wilhelminaplein metro station, excellent communication with the hotel, option to choose birthday welcome package and green housekeeping via internal platform (no housekeeping for the stay-which they complimented with a on-the-house excellent drink)-this is a plus as I find daily housekeeping unnecessary and wasteful. There is a diverse excellent food hall at ground level, also a supermarket right next to it. All in all, you have everything you need in the area.

The shower room does not have a door to separate from the hallway and sleeping area, but the windows open and you can control the room humidity this way. Bring a mosquito repellent plug in as you may have some mosquitos in the summer time if you open the windows. But the room has air conditioning, so no issues with the temperature.

The place was lovely nice inside and out. decor was good, the surrounding facilities were good too. The room didnt come with breakfast, it should have though, would have been a nice touch.

didn't like the fact I specified during booking I required a twin room because I had my 17 year old son with me, such an imposition, more for him that me. Teens need some space and privacy and at least in bed. I do not like the fact you need to ensure that you fill in the further booking forms to request your bed preference, even though you have already told. The venue was a bit of treck from the hotel, however my husband didn't mind the long walk, it was impossible to catch a cab from the venue to Brunos because the drivers were rip offs and would give really inflated prices, so watch out guys.

The hotel was incredibly easy to access: just a few minutes walk from the Metro stop. The fun design features made the hotel feel special and slightly different from other hotels. The bed was huge in our Executive room, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was so well designed and practical with the shower and bath. Plus beautifully clean. The foodhall next door was a fantastic bonus - so easy and comfortable to pop to in the evening!

It would have been nice to have a little more light in the room. When the curtains were closed during the day for privacy, it felt quite dimly lit especially for applying makeup etc.

The RoomMate Bruno was an exceptional hotel! It was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower great! We had a corner room which gave us lots of room. We asked for a kettle, which was brought immediately to our room. Breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. The staff were friendly, helpful, and lots of them available. There was flavored water and tea in the lobby. The Film Museum is right next door, as well as a Food Hall. Although the hotel is not right in the middle of the downtown, Metro and tram transportation was nearby and easy to access. The water taxi was also nearby at the end of the isthmus.

It could have used more towel racks.

Checkin was pretty smooth. Even though it was really busy because of the North Sea Jazz Festival, the receptionist welcomed us with s big smile and took her time. The executive room was spacious and colourful. The terrace was also pretty big with a view of the skyscrapers in front of the hotel. It was my husband's birthday and the bed was decorated with cute balloons. The Food Hallen are right next door, which is great to have a drink and a bite to eat.

The bathroom amenities did not seem like good quality products to me. We had to go to the market to buy our own bathgel to use in the tub. We got disturbed by reception at checkout day at 12 while we specifically agreed (twice on the phone and face-to-face at the reception) we would pay for late check out at 2 pm.

Modern hotel with amazing facilities. Common spaces offer heaps of lovely spots to rest. They offer free coffee for all guests (a couple of coffee machines dotted around the place plus a pod machine in your room), access to a gym and sauna plus complementary water/iced tea and pastries in reception. Beds were very comfortable and the blinds were completely black out. We had the best sleep during our stay! Bathroom offered shampoo, conditioner, soap and a great hairdryer. 5 minute walk to closest station which will get you to Rotterdam Centraal in under 10 minutes.

Breakfast was quite pricey at around €25 per head. Other than that, can’t fault it!
