It was OK and pretty much as expected, but the tray was at the wrong end of the self service route, it was hard to spot the difference between the white and brown sliced bread at first glance and the pre-cooked items (bacon, sausages,etc) really didn’t look very inviting, and there wasn’t enough choice in the cereal selection. Maybe I just wasn’t hungry enough for what was on offer !

It was my first visit to Rochdale and time was short so it would have been very useful if the otherwise very obliging reception staff could have supplied me with a local street map. They gave me a list of local of restaurants but most turned out to have closed down, so up-to-date local knowledge setting you off in the right direction always creats a good impression.

As it was a new hotel everything was in a very good condition. You could smell the newness of the carpeting still. The room was lovely with a very large TV that had an excellent picture. The bed was big and very comfortable and my husband said it was the best shower he'd had.

My only criticisms was the pillows were very soft and as I have to sleep slightly propped up they didn't give me the support I needed. If I had been staying more than one night I would have asked for an extra pillow. Also the cooked breakfast had been there for some while (possibly since 7am) We went down at 8:30 and the bacon was done to a crisp and the scrambled eggs were also very dry. I believe as we were leaving they were bringing out fresh refills so may be that would have been much better. We both said though we would definitely stay again. Staff all very nice and polite.

All very new and fragrant....like a new house. The staff were all professional, pleasant and appeared eager to make the stay a good one. The gym was well equipped. Breakfast was standard Hampton fare.....great....

The hotel was advertised as having free parking.....like Blackburn Hampton....it wasn't. The multistory stack opposite the hotel, and above the shopping precinct was £7.50 per night on a favourable rate. The rate was fine (but not free). My issue would be with the 'security'......not happy....but lucky on this occasion. The A/C did not work and the room was set at a stifling 22 degrees.

The breakfast staff, particularly Carina, Libania, and Virginia, went above and beyond to ensure that guests felt welcome and well taken care of. Throughout our stay, the staff demonstrated professionalism, attentiveness, and a genuine desire to ensure guest satisfaction. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or addressing any queries we had, they were always ready to assist. In addition to the wonderful accommodations and service, we were pleasantly surprised to receive personalized touches such as a birthday card and chocolates. These thoughtful gestures made our stay even more memorable and highlighted the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, our experience at Hampton By Hilton Rochdale was nothing short of exceptional. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team, especially Carina, Libania, and Virginia, for their outstanding service and hospitality. We look forward to returning in the future and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

All nice and new and clean. The room was the perfect size—not too small where you feel claustrophobic but not needlessly too big. Great bathroom with a walk in shower—loved the overhead rain feature! The breakfast which was included in the price was brilliant! Full English buffet style, but what was impressive was that everything was fresh, hot and tasty—unlike some hotels where the bacon is like dried out cardboard and everything is cold. Coffee, even though it was from a machine, was good too! Can’t fault this place, seriously! Definitely be staying again in the future!

Location excellent and parking in car park opposite was really good value for money. Hotel was very modern and comfortable. Spotlessly clean, very helpful and professional staff. Rooms beautifully presented. Very well laid out with gorgeous comfy bed. Shower superb. Good quality toiletries provided and lovely fluffy white towels. Very impressed with rooms.

Breakfast was a disappointment. The choice and quality were very good. However, tables were left uncleared. Fresh fruit was not replaced, offerings towards the end of service (10.20am) were sadly lacking. It was not a comfortable relaxing experience as guests were constantly watching for food to be replenished and this caused chaos in the food area. Such a shame. I would return to this hotel but would make sure I dine at the beginning of service. This shouldn't have to be the case.

Breakfast was excellent - full english, fruit, waffle maker and good coffee. The adapted hotel room was a good size and room was comfortable with air conditioning. The staff was wonderful - especially the young, black gentleman wearing the immaculate suit, who couldn't do enough to make sure that we enjoyed the breakfast and had everything that we needed. The chef was also very patient when I misunderstood how to use the waffle maker and made a small mess. Overall, a lovely room, convenient location, and fantastic staff.

The parking was not included but was instead paid parking in the multi-storey across the road. We did find free parking on a road nearby but it's somewhat of a dark and industrial area which I would not have explored at night, had it not been for the parking requirement. The bed was a little on the firmer side but that does suit some people. The shower was also open plan - which we loved - but the water didn't drain quickly and thus we found ourselves almost flooding the bathroom area if we were not careful with having shorter showers.

Very new, clean and bright. Cheerful and helpful staff. Good location on edge of town centre with convenient and reasonably priced parking in M&S across the road. Good buffet breakfast and don't be scared of the waffle maker, they were lovely.

Scrimping on small things! The room had a stylish little 'SMEG' fridge, that was empty! A small bottle of water in the room would have been nice. Beautifully fitted bathroom, with the cheapest, smallest, roughest and thinnest roll of single ply toilet paper!

The hotel only opened on Monday so everything was brand new. It was exceptionally clean. The room was beautifully finished and a very good size. The shower was really spacious. The staff were very polite and helpful.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. The only thing I will say was that I got 2 confirmations. I thought they were for the hotel in Rochdale however when I clicked on direct it said it was 34 minutes drive and not knowing the area I followed my sat nav only to be directed to the exact same named hotel in the city. When I got to the other hotel I looked at the address and it was in Rochdale so I had to drive back to where I had come from. Partly my own fault for not double checking but confusing to be sent 2 confirmations of the same named hotels in different locations Be aware

The bedroom and the large bed was incredibly well appointed and comfortable, however the breakfast was dreadful. Bacon & Sausages etc left for hours under a geat lamp was unchewable. I notified reception to advise the Chef but i did not see her pick up a phone or go to the kitchen. Afterwards i watched a young family of four unable to cut the meats easily so i alerted the waiter who was always hovering yet never looked at the foods under the lamps. - Again no action taken. Disgraceful service!
