Check-in process was easy using the iPad. Door to the unit is also via keypad code so there's no worry about losing keys. There is a very friendly foreman on-site to help with any check-in queries. He was also available to instantly fix a leaky tap in the unit. The unit was very clean, modern and gave a very unique log cabin vibe which was pleasant. The bed was very comfy and the unit was well-equipped with camping chairs, cooking utensils, fridge etc. The toilet was also very clean and spacious. Plenty of sofa room to lounge around or place your luggage on. The location is pretty great as it is near the bus stop and is surrounded by several restaurants, shops and a supermarket.

The check-in kiosk is actually located on the right side of the property lot so it took me a while to locate it initially as I was looking around the left side of the lot. The ground is also not concreted or paved but just lined with stones and pebbles which did not make in conducive to wheel our luggage nor appropriate for individuals on a wheelchair. We had to carry our luggage up to the unit which included a short flight of stairs.

The place is clean and located in Hakone near many attractions. We drove to the Gotemba outlet for only 20 minutes. The wooden deck for BBQ is nice.

When you arrive, you need to check in on an iPad, which is located in a small hut that's not very obvious. There are also two locations of the facility with the same name, so be careful about that (check on your booking in advance to confirm which one you need to go to).

good location and view in nature, mountain cottage and indoor they had cool set-up. bedrooms and beds/futons very clean. overall has a lot of potential despite some parts being old.

They’re offering BBQ which by default means people will be cutting things and need serving plates. they didn’t have serving plates and kitchen set-up was a bit limited. they should stock more serving plates and salad bowls, and maybe extra glasses/cups for wine / water and it would be just right!

Property was close enough to everything if you drive otherwise would have been a pain had we depended on a bus (half a mile walk to the main road). Staff were friendly and responded when needed. It was really clean. The onsen worked well as long as you drained it halfway and gave it time to fill up before using it (required preplanning).

Whoever took the photos of the room, made the property look phenomenal when it was just ok. The room looked like a converted basement to the residence. During our stay there were several spiders and bugs in the room. The humidifier and AC was unable to get the humidity down to an acceptable level until two days in (need an additional humidifier and it needs to be running well before quests arrival) also for the money the grill and fire pit should be included (it would have been an additional charge with 3 days notice). Also while the property was very clean the vent above the cooktop was disgusting. As we were on the bottom floor we had kids banging around at 0630 in the am above us. If this were 1/2 to 3/4 of the price we paid I would have probably called it a deal but as it was I’d have to say we overpaid.

Views of the place were excellent. Convenient location. Projector was great for a movie night.

Placed lacked basic things I usually get from a cottage for this price like cooking oil, salt and pepper, basic condiments, coffee and tea. There was rotting oysters/food left in the microwave from the last guests and it smelled bad, so we didn't use it.

Good amount of space so suits larger groups. Nice view and aspect. Convenient location (but would need a car). Remote check in and check out worked well. Kitchen facilities were good.

No rain protection over the door. Futon quilt was stained and no covers provided for pillow or futon in one apartment. Bath plug was stuck so couldn’t drain the bath.

Well equipped with furniture and deco and large space. Barbecue outside is nice.

Kitchen faucet not working. Cutlery not cleaned (maybe for the same reason).

the view was good and the location was also perfect for a short trip

The manager of the property was very rude and we also didn't like the way of treating the customers. The utensils in the kitchen was dirty and the bbq space was small for 7 of us
