The lobby and dining area had a very sleek and modern design. The hotel allows you to leave your luggage there before check-in, even allowing you to lock it as well. I stayed in the Standard Triple Room and it was incredible. It was extremely spacious, modern, and cozy. The design was phenomenal and the facilities were extremely clean and well kept. There was a separate space for the toilet and then the shower and sink. All throughout the room was sleek. It had a key code to unlock the door which made it really easily to enter and exit the room without worrying about forgetting your key. The location was great and very central to the area. I was able to quickly reach popular attractions as well as the train station. The staff were kind and helpful, and I would highly recommend Minn Kanazawa.

Clean facility. It was very nice that they had the option to come early and self store your luggage prior to checking in. We were able to do our laundry for free! Room was spacious, clean. Very quiet hotel. Short walk to castle and gardens, nice location. About a 15 minute walk to the train station.

Breakfast was not good, and I wouldn't have included it if I knew it was a warmed up sausage in a bun and a weird small miso soup thing every day. They did have coffee. The "orange juice" was just like a powdered Tang drink with water. Flat pillows.

My wife and I stayed at 7 different hotels during our 2 week trip. In general they were good but always the rooms were very small. Minn was a breath of fresh air. The room was huge! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the lights were soothingly arranged, and the air conditioning was effective. I also used the laundry facilities and found them excellent. Staff were very much out of sight unless needed. At first I thought it was disconcerting but I think that the hotel is meant to give you a sense of being left alone to enjoy yourself. However, when needed hotel staff were incredibly friendly and respectful, helpful and I just really liked it.

Absolutely phenomenal value for money. The best room we stayed in during our time in Japan. It was 2-3 times bigger than some other hotels. The location was extremely convenient with easy access to downtown, Omicho market, Kenroku-en garden and basically everything since Kanazawa is quite walking friendly.

Online check-in wasn't working properly and upon arrival we were asked to try to check in online anyway. But this is a minor thing that didn't change our impression of the place.

The staff helped us greatly with several things. The room was very nice and spacious. We took advantage of the free washing machines.

The hotel didn't provide any Yukata or PJs, which is a shame since everything else is so nice. More importantly, they did not agree to give us an additional towel, but demanded a fee. The towels were also not exchanged the following night. It is reasonable and ecological to stay with the same towles for two nights and we are happy to do that. But not giving an additional towel when requested felt a bit extreme and definitely put a dissapointing aspect to our stay.

Spacious, modern, new apartments with fridge & kettle. We had the triple room which was huge. Appreciate that window decorative panes open so you can get some sunlight in the room. Great location within walking distance of Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen gardens & samurai district. 7/11 20 metres away. Starbucks 400 metres away. 15 min walk from train station or quick bus ride.

Could use block out curtains/blinds. A little noisy at times due to being near a main road. No breakfast included but can use kitchen space downstairs to eat meals that has a grill & microwave.

Spacious apartment with a stunning bathroom. This apartment has a tatami room and a western style bedroom, both are large by Japanese standards. Likewise, the bathroom is amazing with both a shower and a bathtub with water jets. Quality amenities provided and the washing machine was one that also dries your clothes.

The bathroom tiles are a bit sharp in some places so be careful. The hotel uses a pre check in process which didn't work but the helpful staff was able to me in manually. Parking is a couple of mins away which is not great but understandable given the location.

Good size room. Was a bit sceptical as it was not a chain hotel or anything like that, but it was really good and modern. Efficient check in, electronic door codes rather than keys, room was great and very spacious. The washing machine/dryer combo was a god send after a week in 35 degree Japan weather! Great location, right in the middle of everything and a bus stop right outside that goes straight to the station. Nice big kitchen table in the room was handy as was cutlery and a microwave. More like an apartment than a hotel and very happy we stayed here.

The bathroom was quite small and there were no hooks for towels or any benchspace for toiletries.

Convenient location - it's only about 1km from Kanazawa Station (and Kanazawa is very flat, so it's an easy walk), and there is a bus stop about 25m away that serves a lot of different bus routes. My room happened to be the only one on my side of the building so I didn't have to worry about noise. Room is really comfortable with everything you need. Personally I didn't mind the check in and check out process via QR code/online, it was very quick and easy.

The long door code instead of a keycard has good and bad points, it's a good idea to write the code down in case your phone dies. It's nice to not have to worry about a card, but the 8 digit code is a bit long.

The room we stayed was way beyond our expectations. It's an apartment with a small kitchen, a washing machine and even a jacuzzi! It's very spacious and funky, such a luxury when traveling in Japan. The location is perfect. It's close to subway, and the Oyama Shrine and Kanazawa castle park are just a few minutes walk away. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They recommended local ramen shops to us, and booked a taxi for us and even seeing us out on our departure. We had an amazing time in Minn Kanazawa and highly recommend it!
