Hotel is modern and great location near to the attractions. The room and toilet were more spacious than expected. Loved that there was a washer-dryer machine in the room, and the hotel provided the detergent. There was also a common laundry room for those who needed it. Bed was comfortable, and I liked that there was a seating area. Didn't realise before, but it was great to have a bigger trashbin in the toilet. Interesting to use the RFID room key to access the lift, and the level automatically lights up accordingly when you tap the keycard on the reader.

No issues for my stay, loved the hotel. For those staying longer term, I think the hotel does charge if you require full housekeeping service. If not, limited housekeeping is free (change towels and empty trashbins). Also, if you are carrying luggage, do note that you need to take a bus from the train station to the hotel.

Excellent in all respects. Would stay there again with no issue.

The room was well-equipped, and I loved the added bonus of having a washer/dryer combo right in the room, which was super handy. Not at all except no free car park lots are made available due to its location in the heart of the town.

Location: The walk from the Kanazawa station is a bit far (about 20 minutes), the heavy snow on the footpath didn't help. The location of the hotel however is worth the effort. Allows you access to Kanazawa Castle Ruins, the gardens and the many historical districts within a short walk. It's also very easy to popover to omicho market for food. Stay: The room was very spacious for 2 people. As a bonus it even came with it's own washing machine! Breakfast was good, mixture of western and Japanese items. I quite like the korma curry they served on one of the days. Check-in was easy no issues getting by with English.

I didn't have the breakfast as I wanted to try all the lovely foods, restaurants and cafes in Kanazawa. So many options. Lovely french cafe just around the corner for breakfast and easy access everywhere by loop bus. Walking distance to Omichi market. Not too far to walk from the station or taxi if needed, but bus was easy also- stop a few metres away or across the road if going the other way. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable - such a welcome relief after sleeping on a very hard bed for a week and the rooms were a good size. The bathroom was lovely- hot bath every night to warm my bones- and I was able to control the room temperature nicely so it wasn't too hot or too cold. Washing machine in the room was great too. Though it was just myself, it would have been fine for a couple. My sister's room was a little bigger - I think they booked the delux for the 2 of them which had a separate toilet and a bit more space but I couldn't have been happier with my room. Great location, faultlessly clean, excellent beds. Highly recommend.

Nothing to not like.

Well positioned hotel close to the loop bus stops, the markets and a number of sightseeing spots. Rooms were comfortable and had a washing machine which we were most grateful for. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good range of choices to suit most tastes. Even though we stayed for 5 nights there was no room cleaning at all. Bins were emptied from in front of the room and dirty towels taken away (also from the corridor). We had to go down every day to reception to request a clean supply of towels - only a minor inconvenience but still an unusual setup.

The location is super central; we were able to do everything on foot. The hotel is excellent, clean, organised, has a great breakfast, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, great acoustics and temperature, and friendly staff. We spent 20 days in Japan, and this was the best hotel we stayed in, considering the cost-benefit ratio. I'm very grateful for the welcome and the icing on the cake: a little scent to put on your clothes and a washing machine in the room with soap included. We loved it!

There are no international channels on television. If there's a TV and it's an international hotel, please allow access to channels other than just the Japanese ones or consider providing smart TVs with apps.

The staff was super friendly, super helpful and made you feel at ease. The facilities are great. Toiletries are avalaible on the ground floor to reduce wastage. Free coffee available at the lobby. The washing machine in the room was THE BEST! Made it very convenient to clean and dry clothes in the comfort of your room. The machine was very modern and clean and had a kind of 'dry clean'/anti bacterial function. Room was super spacious and clean. Close to main attractions like the Kenroku-en garden and 21st Century museum. They were happy to keep our luggage for us.

About 30min walk to the train station or 1000¥ ride.

It was easy to get to, very central. It was clean, shower was great, window with a view to the castle and gardens and mountains. We were on the 13th, top floor. Easy walk to Omichi markets, castle and gardens. Buses handy, 50 metres to stop one direction and across the road the other. Huge underground supermarket opposite the markets is good. Washing machine was handy but cycle is very long, over four hours including drying. Great coffee in the next street over. Two totally different styles. Excellent small restaurant just around the corner, Kitchen Hanna. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Castle and gardens are lit up on Saturday nights. Well worth the short walk to wander around but don’t go too late because they are very strict on their closing time. 😜

The room wasn’t the one I booked. It didn’t have a kitchenette, bench or any bowls, spoons etc. Eventually when we questioned the room it was advised we could have got a bench top cooker and pots and pans from the front desk but we weren’t told this earlier. However we had booked a Residential Room to have a big bench top and kitchenette and the room we got seemed more like a moderate room, with no real bench and certainly not room to cook. Staff did provide us with bowls and spoons so we could eat our breakfast at least. Overall though it was good and we bought sushi from the markets and the big supermarket opposite has lots of different options.

The location is great, within easy walking distance of the Oyama Shrine and Castle grounds, and also the old streets of the Samurai district. The hotel is modern and clean, and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. I appreciated the free coffee available in reception. We'd left our luggage as we were a bit early to check in, and when we returned it had already been taken up to our room which was nice.

Not much comes to mind - the breakfast buffet could have one or two more "western" items such as some cheese or different flavours of jams, boiled eggs (I know we are in Japan but I still find things like soup or rice dishes a lunch/evening option!)
