Really great location & value. Super clean, has all amenities you need. Comfortable beds. Get the Japanese style twin room - the beds are wider than the normal twins.

Breakfast was not worth 1800 yen. Although staff work tirelessly to ensure that dishes are replenished frequently I just didn’t find it was worth the money or what I expected from a breakfast buffet. Scrambled eggs were runny, no fresh fruit other than cut up oranges. The French toast is made to order and it was good though.

The check in process! It was pouring with rain, we were cold and wet and wanted to check in early but they refused to open check in before 3pm. By 3pm the foyer was full of guests obviously with the same idea. When they finally turned on the robotic dinosaurs we had to queue and wait a long time for our turn to check in. I thought the hotel could have responded better to their guests and at least allowed us to complete the electronic check in part earlier to avoid queueing so that at 3pm we could just go to to our rooms

Beyond the gimmick of the dinosaur robots greeting you, the hotel is very good. The robots only react to your self check-in/out, but staff is available for other needs like luggage storage or ordering a taxi. Remember to pick up amenities in the lobby before going to your room. The room was small, but great. There is space to lay out a small suitcase. Toilet was separate, the sink was in the room. There was a wet room unit with bathtub and shower. The location is great, central and along a bus line. Close to the park and the castle ruins. In walking distance to the fish market or all three traditional quarters.

No storage space for large luggage. There is a gas station nearby which plays a loud jingle for the employees (like a telephone ringing) when a customer wants to pay. If you like to sleep in late and are a light sleeper this might annoy you.

Amusing having the dinosaurs greet you at reception. We checked in fine using the automated system, but staff were on hand to help those who struggled. The room was large and comfortable. Two large single beds that we pushed together. It was quiet and well equipped. Location was great, with a convenience store across the road, and walkable to nearby sights. It was also on a central bus line to reach the station and other sights further out.

I would have liked sugar available in the room to make my coffee. Everything else was great.

The breakfast was the best we have had in Japan so far. The room had a nice view to kanazawa city and part of the castle's garden. We had to make a call to the post service and also send the luggage to the next hotel, in the reception they helped us solve all this.

The service and facilities in general were very good, nothing to complain about on this front. The only improvement I can see is to add some surface in the room to use as a table (e.g. to eat in the room or use as a desk), there is not much space in the room to add a table but a piece of wood could be hung on the wall to put it horizontal and use as a table when necessary.

The dinobots at the entrance welcoming my family was an amazing first experience for them, and what is Japan without amazing experience? Answer: Still amazing as ever! The location was strategically placed, and insanely value for money - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the hotel, thank you.

I believe the breakfast was a little pricey so we didn't opt for that and went for convenience stores instead. Still, the food looked amazing and it would have been nice if the pricing for breakfast matches the theme of the hotel, which is a budget stay.

The dinosaur robot check in was cool. There is a human staff person available too, who helped with requests like additional items for the room or troubleshooting. We had a surprisingly large room by Japanese standards. It was clean and modern. The place looked quite new and many things were in really good condition. The beds were very comfortable.

It was a little bit further away from Kanazawa Station for walking, but still reachable by bus.

While the hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the JR station, it is right behind the Kanazawa Castle making it a prime location for sight-seeing. There are also lots of great places to eat at including Chocotea across the street for taiyaki and Poncco next door for tea during the day and drinks at night. We were able to see all the museums and explore Kanazawa by foot due to the great location. Room was average sized, dinos were a great touch, and it had what we needed.

I wish there were more tea options for tea in the morning and would have liked a second pillow for each person.

Hotel was so cool. The dinosaurs are a good amount of humour in the lobby. The human staff are ready to help whenever you need and are super nice. You can purchase pot noodles from reception which is a big bonus!

We happened to stay at the same time as some students. We were woken a few times by them running back and forth between rooms and laughing loudly. The staff however were willing to help. I also couldn’t find the ice cream machine 😂
