Great location, very quiet and easily walkable from Keisei-Narita train station. The place is very clean and they provide all the basic essentials you might need. The room is the normal size for typical Japanese bedrooms. I personally think that the place is nicer in person than on pictures. Storage for luggage is available. I will not hesitate to come back here next time I'll be in Narita.

There was no real major point. A little one, the slippers provided were way too large. I had mine, so for me, it wasn't a big deal. Maybe asking the shoes size to guests would be more convenient.

There were clear instructions on how to use their facilities; the set-up for the “shared bathroom” was more acceptable to me; wi-fi was strong; “high-tech” punch-in codes for each rooms, in my POV; Japanese-feel decors; room space was just right for the price; smelled homey; nice Japanese-style common area with just the right privacy during our stay; felt very cozy and at home; and very accommodating staff, Nene-san. Short walking distance to the popular Omotesando Street, like literally; and Naritasan Temple.

Well, maybe I can say the walls were thin, yet it was okey :)

Walking distance from narita station. Restaurants and bars nearby, but you'd have to walk a bit to the nearest convenience store. It's a small guest house, no fancy amenities, but provided for what i needed. My room was small, but comfortable and i appreciated the english instructions for the AC/heater remote. Toilet and bathrooms were clean. I didnt meet the staff because they had a self-check in and out process set up, but they made sure I got my codes and had my slippers and room ready when I got there. I would stay here again when I'm in the area.

Nothing I can think of. It provided for what I needed and gave me a nice comfortable stay.

Cute little place near Narita Shrine, and a bunch of restaurants on Naritas main street. I liked the self check in, the calm cool vibe of the town. The cleanliness of the place, the storage room for a "late-ish check out." (Check out of room but leave bags for a few hours.

Didn't meet anyone here. Nobody to hang out with. Just a quaint, quiet place with no energy. I would come back here for 1 night maximum. Also, the price was double what I paid for other wayyyy better places in Tokyo. So the price is a little crazy to me. Why so much?

It's ideal for solo travellers who want a brief stay, more homely than a capsule hotel but not 'buzzing' like a backpacker hostel. It's self-service with no staff on-site during late hours, still felt cosy with its deco and a lovely Japanese-styled common room on G/F. If I remember correctly there are 3 shower booths, 3 toilets and at least 5 washbasins, enough to not have to queue during my stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend going on an early morning stroll to Naritasan Park (next to the temple). The beautiful Japanese landscape garden under perfect morning light (7am in May for me) with barely anyone was an unexpected highlight.

The lower berth bed I stayed in the 4-bed dorm was more a futon than a mattress, fine for me but some may want to take note. The room temperature was on the warmer side but not unbearable. The electronic lock of the dorm's door make quite a sound when operated I felt bad using it at night. There is no locker within the 4-bed dorm (1/F), the luggage storage room(G/F) had key locked cupboards that fit backpacks (first come first served), but no locking mechanism for suitcases.

Glad to have a private room just before departing back home, so it was easier to repack the luggage. The futon was comfier than I thought, with heater/air-conditioner. Keypad lock was easy to use and the staff were friendly.

Only downside was that the rooms were upstairs (1 floor), so we had to carry it up because we wanted to repack our luggage. But the hostel did provide a storage for luggage at the ground floor if you don't want to carry the luggage up. There was a route that required us to pass a bridge / go up a slope from the station to this hostel, so might want to reconsider this if you're bringing a heavy luggage. No tea/coffee provided.

This was an easy place to land after a long flight. It's a short walk from two of the Narita town train stations, with lots of food options nearby. Check in was simple, and it was a great way to introduce our son to Japan, by staying at a proper ryokan. We forgot a bag in the storage area, and staff held it for us and had it ready for us upon our return to Narita! I was so happy and really appreciated their effort when I was able to pick it up.

Not something they did wrong, but there was an earthquake that woke us up in the middle of the night! The building held up well, though, and taught me a bit about seismic dynamics. :)

What a fantastic little accomodation! I stayed here just before and after my flights at Narita airport. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the accommodation to the train station, and then a 7 min train ride to the airport. Really convenient spot if you need to have easy access to the airport. There is an abundance of awesome Japanese restaurants around the area too! The accomodation is super affordable and has a great traditional Japanese vibe to it. The rooms have air conditioning. There are individual showers and bathrooms as well for privacy :) I stayed here during the tail-end of winter and was cozy the entire time. It’s so tranquil when you first step into the peaceful reception area, with some warm atmosphere, tranquil music and great aromas. Not a party hostel at all, seems to be very respectful, peaceful and quiet - perfect place to relax before / after a flight at Narita airport. Will definitely stay here again in the future if I am in Narita.

Beds were a little thin and pillow was really uncomfy :(

Out of all the places we stayed Narita Sandos Guesthouse was the only place that had a proper luggage storage. We were able to drop off our bags before check in and go for a wander, which was great. Also, really lovely waiting area with AC where you can eat and chill out. Everything was clean and really comfortable. Loved that the shared dorm beds had curtains and were really private.

It was really hot weather when we went to visit, and the upstairs toilets felt like saunas most of the time. However, this was something I found in common with several properties and definitely no slight on Narita Sando guesthouse. Also, people tend to come in for a one day stopover and go to bed early, so might be a bit awkward for night owls. Would definitely book my brother and I a private room next time since I felt we were kind of a sound nuisance having to get up in the middle of the night for stuff.
