Loved the location at the airport. Never having stayed at a capsule hotel, I was surprised at how roomy the capsule was. I was able to sit up with plenty of head room, and had lots of room to spread out in my capsule. The locker and shower facilities were clean and nice.

It was a bit difficult getting my luggage up the escalator. Having access to an elevator closer to the hotel would have been helpful, or signage that explained how to get to the nearest elevator. It may have been there, but I got in late, and was tired, so I didn't look around a lot once I found the sign with the arrow to the hotel.

I stayed here with my husband on a visit from Australia. This was our first time sleeping in a capsule hotel and it was such a unique experience! The capsule hotel is a short walk from Narita Airport terminal 2, where we arrived. Check-in was a very easy process. We were each given a mesh bag containing a yukata, toothbrush and toothpaste, and earplugs, plus a key with a numbered tag. The dormitories are gender segregated, so we said goodnight and went our separate ways. I entered the female side and found myself in a locker area. I easily found the locker with my key tag number and it was big enough for one suitcase and carry-on items. There were toilet and shower cubicles next to the locker area, and a long bench with sinks, hairdryers and tissues. Once I had changed, I walked through another door into the sleeping area. There were two levels of sleeping pods. My pod was on the lower level and there was a pillow and comforter folded up inside. There was a blind to pull down for privacy. The pod was cosy but comfortable. Although guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum, it was still quite noisy with people coming and going all night. Checkout in the morning was also very quick and easy. Overall it was a great option when we only needed to stay one night in Tokyo before travelling onward via Shinkansen.

Pros: Great staff and facilities. The last time I stayed at a capsule hotel in Japan was 8+ years ago, and this one was much more spacious and well-designed, with some really awesome amenties provided. If you're not sure where to find the hotel, go to the information desk as soon as you arrive. I mistakenly followed the vague instructions from previous reviews and could have saved myself some time by not bothering with them. My experience: I arrived at Terminal 1 from an international flight. The hotel is located in Terminal 2. I took the free shuttle at Bus Stop #6 just on the curb outside, and it went from Terminal 1 -> Terminal 3 -> Terminal 2 (there are two T2 stops, and I got off at the first one). I took the escalator down to the "train" but didn't go on the train. Instead, I followed the signs for the capsule hotel. At check-in, they gave me a mesh tote with slippers, bath towels, a solid nightgown, earplugs, a toothbrush and toothpaste, and a Starbucks gift card for breakfast. The lockers are in a separate room from the capsules, and the doors are super quiet and impossible to slam. The toilet stalls and the shower stalls (separate) are well stocked, no need to bring shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and there is plenty of room both near the lockers as well as the sinks, and another area to blow-dry your hair. The capsules are very spacious and the bedding comfortable enough. The pillow is very interesting. The closest comparison I can give is those Korean buckwheat pillows mixed with a bean bag chair. Very supportive and immediately conforms to your head shape. I'm 4'11" and nightgown hem reached just above my ankle. I assume it's made of sturdy cotton.

The staff was super professional and informative and made sure to remind incoming guests of the quiet rules, but your mileage may vary depending on your neighbors. There are guests who inexplicably take or make phone calls in the capsules at night between 8pm-4am instead of going to the locker room (where there is also wifi) to have their conversations, so I apologize to the person in the bunk below me for constantly going out to be the whispering "take it outside" police. I'm sure if I brought it up to the reception staff, they would have dealt with it quickly, but since I was so sleep-deprived and cranky, I ended up going down the route of vigilante justice myself.

If you've got a long stop over, by god this place is a heaven send. We stopped in Tokyo after a very long flight with another the following morning and being able to take a shower, change clothes and collapse into comfy sheets was amazing. Staff were all great, plenty of amenities available (earplugs, razors, moisturiser etc) and the lighting/aesthetic of the place are very soothing after so long in bright airport lighting.

Only thing is it is a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it for the convenience and for how restful it is.

Modern, clean facility as a first experience of a capsule hotel, air conditioning in the capsule pleasant and roomier than expected

Better instructions needed to keep very quiet everywhere,NO CHITCHAT ANYWHERE EVEN WHISPERING as this is very disturbing, disruptive of sleep and unfortunately not observed by foreign visitors.NO HAIRDRYERS AFTER 11AM.A favour to ask:please explain how to pull down THE BLIND and WHERE to HOLD IT IN POSITION as you can hear the struggle in other capsules.Up and down, up and down until finally you get it, left and right a little hook hidden by the mattress........halleluja.

Good location if you are looking for a quick overnight stay before catching a flight from the airport. The lockers were quite spacious and the facilities were all functional and clean .

It can be an issue if you are a light sleeper, the earplugs provided were not very effective.

very well sign posted from Narita Terminal 2 train station. it was convenient, clean and fulfilled all needs for a night before an early flight from NRT. You can close your capsule with a pull down sheet, it has consents and you personal lights. Shower was great, having the little room before the shower area to get dressed in private.

The only thing that was not super comfortable was the mattress, but this is a remark on a high level. There are not many food choices around, after a certain time at night, there is a 7eleven konbini about 5 min walk from the capsule hotel.

I want to emphasize that this hotel was an excellent option for us. When we arrived at Narita Airport around 11 p.m. and were about 1.5 hours from Tokyo, the one-night stay was perfect. It left us in a great position to travel in the morning. This hotel was very clean and surprisingly private. We had individual showers and toilets, so that was nice. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. I would not hesitate to return back here if I needed a layover.

The property would have been perfect if the bed pods had been installed. The noise from snoring and coughing is quite disruptive. Other than that, it's a fantastic place.

I really liked their shower stall. The unit was clean and well designed, spacious for this dormitory-type hotel, good equipment with plenty of hot water and the pressure was good. They also had luxury hotel-type bath towels, it was a big plus. Most of all, it is located such a convenient place (in Narita Airport) and I'm glad that I stayed a night before of my international flight, I was able to plan my trip with plenty of time and had fun looking around the shops in the airport, too.

Would be nice if the screen used at the entrance to capsule bed is thicker and firmer. It didn't close well. The noise level was not too bad considering the type of hotel (capsule bed/dormitory), but you could hear other people passing by right behind the screen. Bed and pillow were surprisingly comfortable though.
