Room contained an air conditioner and private fridge. Right next to Dobutsuen-Mae station and close to Shin-Imamiya so travel is very convenient. Family Mart and a supermarket very close by. Food/Shopping streets very close by

Internet is very slow (approx. 20 MB/s at best) and cut out frequently, especially when more people are using it. Walls are quite thin and people can be heard talking, though this didn't happen often. Window did not block outside sounds very well. Provided pillow is very hard and takes some getting used to. No mirrors in shower rooms.

Well located just outside Doubutsuen mae underground and Shin Imamiya JR. The hotel is quite run down but represents great value for money. For the area the rooms are a reasonable size. Ours had a toilet. There's an onsen downstairs but very short hours for women 10pm-12. Towels and linen provided. The staff were very helpful and spoke some English. There were helpful pamphlets about Kansai sights. You can leave your bags there if you are flying out later. There's a kitchen downstairs and a few eating areas nearby but if you want something a bit nicer, Tennoji is close. The area around the hotel is dilapidated and being demolished. It looks like a poorer area, so harder to find a breakfast set. It's an interesting area though just past the DonQ store. The rooms are relatively clean but the common areas quite dirty. However if you're on a budget it's an unbelievable bargain (at the current Aus$ exchange rate). Surprisingly quiet for the centre of Osaka.

Longer hours for the public bath would have been good. A little cleaner in the common areas if possible.

There is a supermarket nearby, and the traffic is very convenient, hotel room and the toilet and shower are all very clean.

It's well located, Subway and train stations are just meters from the hostel. Rooms and showers are OK. The crew is nice and helpful.

All the common areas look neglected and dirty,like there has never been cleaning personnel and nobody cares about making the place more comfortable, which makes it look like a seedy backpacker hostel in Thailand rather than a Budget Hotel in Osaka.

The staff are really helpful, the location is superb! If you want to explore Osaka Downtown at night and just stroll around Osaka's shinsekai and dotonbori, this place is recommended as the above places can be reached by foot from this hotel. They are also only one minute away from the nearest station.

Location, all friendly and very nice staff. They all speak English too…I think😅 lots of information scribbles and posters on the wall for tourist guide. Everything has English translation. They have spa for both genders. They have good and comfortable shower area. They provide face and bath towels.

- No hot water on the rest room lavatories - floors and walls are old and stained that makes it look dirty even after cleaning - Poor wifi - accomodating to few minutes early check in without extra cost

A 2-minute walk from Dobutsuen-Mae Subway Station, free Wi-Fi, The shared showers are open 24/7. Front desk 24hr. Room with air-conditioning, refrigerator, TV, nonsmoking room, comfortable bed. Hospitality staff.

Toilets, showers area sometimes are dirty by previous users. Even though facilities are nonsmoking, still some violation smoking in toilet.

The location is fantastic, 24hr shower rooms, such great value for money - exactly what you want when travelling on a budget: a secure, comfortable, affordable and friendly place to rest your head. A new favourite of mine in Osaka :D

Walls are quite thin so bring/buy ear plugs and you will be fine :)

Location, bed, fridge, Aircon and the tv set. All were excellent.

The wifi was sometimes shaky. Toilet was constantly 95% clean - but absolutely not stinky or disturbing. At the shower room a kind of shelf or even a hanger was missing a lot.

You'll get a huge benefit way more than you pay. Like showers are high pressure a lot of hot water, can adjust the spot on your preferred temperatures. Definitely warm your whole body and heart up. With this accommodation fee (NZ$23) you can get your own room with air conditioning, TV, and clean white bed linens. Right in the center of Osaka. Easy to access anywhere in Osaka.
