Check In was very fast, easy and the reception was super friendly and professional. Great service, staff and great location. Unfortunately I cannot remember the staff's name anymore who checked me in and the one who checked me out. Both of them gave me a good impression of my arrival and departure of my trip. So thank you :). Close to a train station and not far from Haneda Airport.

It was a bit small the room but I think since it is because it is a Hotel for business people. I have traveled alone with a huge luggage it was no problem for me. But if you are trying to travel as a couple or with another company it could be too tight. Room service did a great job but they seemed a bit stressed? And where quiet noisy in the morning. But nonetheless they did their job great. My room was very clean so I am happy.

Room was as published online; almost everything that I needed for a 2-night stay was available. Extra for the comfortable bed (as usually they are not pleasant). There was also a late-night izakaya at the end of the block that was quite enjoyable. Close to conbini (7-eleven and FamilyMart) and within walking distance to Tokyo station.

Did not have any USB connections and I did not plan for it (did not bring my USB outlet adapters). Thankfully I just ran everything off of the power bank for the short time I was there and didn't have a problem. Ensure USB adapters for the electrical outlets are on-hand if the stay-over is going to be extended.

Pretty average APA Hotel, no big surprise or disappointment for me. Convenient location in my opinion with subway stations nearby and a 10-15min from Tokyo station. On check-out day, I had to leave my luggage for a day before taking the train in the evening and the reception kept my bags for me until then. Room was small as expected in APA Hotel but comfy enough. I liked the Japanese breakfast buffet in the morning. It was simple but good. Don't expect much in terms of western food though, they only have sweet bread with jam.

Room was clean overall but the bathroom smelled a bit maybe because of the drain? I also wish there was a magnet for the door in case you don't need more amenities (they don't clean the room unless you put a "please clean the room" kind of magnet, and when they don't clean they just put a big bag of extra amenities on your door). I stayed 3 days and only needed one change for towels and bathrobe. Fortunately, I was able to tell directly the cleaning staff so they didn't put an extra bag on my last day.

The location was brilliant ! So close to the Main Street major shops ! Location is a very quiet side street. Very peaceful sleep experience - no traffic noise etc. The linen, mattress and pillows were nice & comfortable. Lots of complimentary amenities in the bathroom like shavers, toothbrush etc. Rooms very clean. We asked for rooms close together as we are a family of four and needed two rooms - they accommodated this request. Late check out costs an additional 1,000 JYen per hour.

There is only one small lift & the wait time was long (we are impatient. There are scuff marks on the wall from guest luggage. The carpet is tired. The rooms are ‘compact’. Staff don’t speak English and unable to assist with directions.

It was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Perfect size room for solo travellers or couples. The location was good as it was very close to the subway and Tokyo station and a bunch of restaurants nearby. The staff were also very helpful and professional.

It was a bit hard to find the hotel as it is down a random alley way and the rooms/bathrooms are a bit small. There is also only one elevator with lots of people (especially during check in/out) using it at once so it can take a while to go down/up.

Whenever in Tokyo I stay here: you can walk to Tokyo Station, metro station location is around the corner, the heart of the Ginza is just blocks down the street. Not plush but rooms are efficient and comfortable. Their breakfast is is good; Japanese style.

I had to leave.

The bed was extremely comfortable. A lot of give to the mattress, it didn't feel like I was sleeping on the floor. Also, there were 4 pillows on the double bed which is apparently a rare thing for me to get in a hotel in Japan when solo-travelling. Staff was helpful.

The room felt a bit dingy. Although the bed and bathroom were clean, the walls were scuffed, the bathroom silicone in the shower was starting to deteriorate making it look less clean than it was. The handsoap bottle looked as though it hadn't been really wiped down in a while. There was no mould, but there was a pink slime/rust on the floor near the tub. Overall I think it could use a total deep clean and slight refresh of silicone/paint. It was also very expensive given how dated it felt.

This was an extremely convenient yet moderately upscale hotel, for arriving in Tokyo by train, and getting a walking-distance room at the last minute over the internet. The desk staff downstairs are serious in the necessary "big city" way, but friendly nonetheless. They were very good about storing our luggage when we arrived early, and while we shopped before leaving for our next destination. There is a nice multi-lingual electronic kiosk that works like a dream for helping to find your valid reservation when it doesn't show up on their system for whatever reason.

The hotel will not store breakables in luggage - you will need to cart it with you, or take your chances. The rooms are very cramped - they are the quintessential tiny Japanese downtown hotel rooms. We had small luggage, and still, we were finding ourselves putting things everywhere to try to get things in or out of our bags. Two people in one of these rooms is pushing it, and don't bring any larger luggage. The TV is weird and challenging, desk space is extremely limited, the bed is an obstacle course, and the shower is a bit strange. AND YET, it's all very clean, enjoyable, and appreciated, at an excellent price for downtown Tokyo, Ginza district.

The rooms are the same as the rest of the API Eki hotel.

The restaurant only offered a Japanese breakfast, which didn't really suit us - had we known that when booking through here, we wouldn't have paid to have it included. A hotel manager had taken over one of the guest rooms on the top floor, where our rooms were, as an office, so in addition to him being extremely rude, there was also a constant stream of staff - usually with big bags of rubbish, washing, etc tying up the lift and making their way to his room and back.

We liked that the hotel is very close to train stations and restaurants. The breakfast was a Japanese traditional experience. It’s true the room & bathroom are very small, lucky that we only brought 1 carry-on and we “fit”, with bigger luggage it would be a struggle, but it’s worth the price and the area where it is located.
